Reviewed Aug 23, 2026Annette stocked the fridge up for us with all of our favorite breakfast food plus much more. Amazing hospitality, nothing was too much trouble. A very pretty location and just a few minutes walk into Shillelagh. Private and quiet location.
Although it did not really affect us I would have liked to have had an iron, ironing board and hair dryer - certainly not a criticism but maybe a thought for the future. There was nothing we disliked, very comfortable. Overall an excellent experience.

Reviewed Jul 20, 2026Die Schlüsselübergabe erfolgte sehr unkompliziert über einen Schlüsselsafe. Das Haus ist niedlich, mit den Notwendigkeiten ausgestattet. Annette, eine sehr herzliche Vermieterin, sorgt dafür dass einem nichts fehlt. Über die Jahre wird sicherlich noch die eine oder andere Annehmlichkeiten in der Ausstattung dazu kommen. Doch einem vollwertigen komfortablen Urlaub steht hier nichts im Wege. Ein Pub und ein kleiner Supermarkt sind fußläufig erreichbar. Das Haus liegt in einem herrlich grünen und nach Rosen duftenden Garten.
Dass wir nicht länger bleiben könnten, da der Urlaub viel zu schnell vorüber war 😁 Tatsächlich wären ein paar Haken im Haus toll, eine Möglichkeit nasse Wäsche im Garten aufzuhängen, wobei wir sicherlich nur Annette hätten fragen brauchen. Aber zu beanstanden gab es wirklich nichts.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Annette was so welcoming and lovely, made it very clear we could ask for anything we needed - and the space itself was perfect, stocked with some surprise treats, very clean and in a beautiful garden. Would love to come back - recommend to anyone doing the Wicklow Way.

Reviewed Mar 17, 2025Annette was kind enough to provide us with some breakfast items in the fridge. The cottage is lovely and very bright and warm. We initially booked for just one night, but then decided, once we got there, that we'd like to stay for a second night because we liked the location and the cottage so much. We would definitely visit again in the summer.
