We truly enjoyed our stay at Alba Hotel & Spa. The beach nearby was beautiful, peaceful and great for families. The staff was kind and supportive throughout our stay, always ready to help with any questions. We also liked that bikes were available at an affordable price, which gave us flexibility to explore Phu Quoc. The hotel has a good location and offered a very comfortable and relaxing vacation experience.

Worst travel experience in all the years of travelling. Room booked was switched, 3 seperate unanounced 3rd party entrances into the villa. Last occurance was so threatening that we vacated the villa and got a room elsewhere.

Чисто, близко к морю, в номере есть все необходимое, кроме мини-холодильника, но об этом я знала, холодильник есть на общей кухне. Есть стиралка на 5 этаже , есть лифт, приятные хозяева

На общей кухне нет микроволновки, в номере негде сушить вещи, приходится их возить на лифте на 5 этаж сушиться

The property is not far from Khem beach. The beach and neighborhood are clean.

Very relaxed atmosphere and welcoming hosts. Clean and comfortable rooms. 3 minutes walk from the beach and restaurants and markets all around. But still quiet at the night.

Maybe mosquito nets on the windows would not be a bad idea.

Location was great, room was simple and clean.

Room didn’t have a fridge, and the staff didn’t speak English, so communication was difficult.

We were living in this hotel for 9 days and everything was amazing! Thanks to Andy, he was very kind and helped us with all questions we had. Also it’s very convenient that we had an opportunity to rent bikes right from the hotel and park it near entrance. Andy helped us with that as well. We would like to separately note that hotel offers laundry service and after that laundry clothes smells amazing! Also location is perfect, the best beach on the island is in 2 min walking. Near the hotel you can find different stores and points with juice and coffee and restaurants as well.

Établissement très propre, les chambres sont spacieuses, très bien équipées et bien décorées. L’hôtel se situe à 5 min de la plage et juste à côté de restaurants et commerces. Super accueil, c’était parfait !

После оплаты номера на ресепшн отеля было сказано, что в отеле номеров нет и я буду проживать в номере на вилле, что значительно дальше от пляжа, чем локация самого отеля. Кроме того, предложенный маленький номер на вилле был без санузла, санузел был напротив комнаты, вход из коридора, что меня категорически не устроило. Когда бронируете этот отель, уточняйте где конкретно будете жить, так как информации о вилле и номерах там на сайте букинга нет. Оценить сам отель не могу, поскольку в нём не проживала.

Хороший отель, удобное расположение - около пляжа, приветливый персонал. В целом, номер был удобный. Хорошая мебель, качественный душ. Мини-холодильника в номере нет. Но на 5 этаже есть общая кухня с террасой и холодильниками. Можно пользоваться в любое время.

Нам не очень повезло с номером. 1 - был смежный с другим, разделяла только «межкомнатная» дверь. Очень высокая слышимость. Было слышно буквально все: и сопение человека и глотание. 2 - все 10 дней ежедневно размагничивался ключ и приходилось вызывать работника.

Właściciele byli mili i mówili po polsku. Pokoje czyste, nowe, pachnące i ciche. Na plażę było niecałe 10 minut pieszo, na plus dla hotelu, że dostaliśmy bez dodatkowej opłaty ręczniki plażowe. Po drugiej stronie budynku znajduje się główna ulica, na której są restauracje i budki z kawą i kanapkami. Bardzo udany pobyt, polecam!

У отеля идеально соотношение цена/качество/место расположение. До пляжа всего 5 минут пешком. Мы жили с ребенком, у нас была отдельная смежная комната с отдельным входом и туалетом. Уборка была каждый. Персонал очень дружелюбный. На последнем этаже есть отдельная кухня, если есть желание готовить самим. Рядом остановка бесплатного автобуса, который ходит в СанВорлд. В общем, за свою стоимость идеальный вариант.

Вид из номера был на стену соседнего отеля, это был единственный минус.

Расположение удачное, 3 минуты до пляжа. Это городской отель без территории , чисто, свежий ремонт , хороший персонал. Минусы: шумно, ремонт и стройка рядом , слышимость 100%, бронировала с завтраками а по итогу приехала и они их отменили без объяснений , деньги за завтраки вернули.

Closeness to Khem Beach

Firstly, there is construction happening all around the hotel. It is very noisy from 7.30am with mechanical equipment and dusty. The building construction will continue for months as they appear to be renovating several buildings in the street. The hotel don't give any prior warning to the noise and disturbance. Secondly, The hotel messed up our booking. They say the type of room I booked was no longer available even though I had booked it 4 months in advance and confirmed it twice before arrival. They say their messages are managed by someone who's not at the hotel. They also blame booking.com for some sort of system issue but I think it's just an excuse. Basically they didn't really care about the mess up, apart from offering a reduction in the room price. Unfortunately the whole island was booked up otherwise I would have moved to another hotel. There are plenty of other hotels on this street that seem nicer.

The hotel is located in a very close proximity of one of the most beautiful beaches in Phu Quoc, in a peaceful newly developed area. The room was spotless and had everything I needed. Mrs Maja, Mr Lai and their son were amazing hosts! Very friendly and supportive- helped me a lot when I needed some medical assistance, stayed with me as much as I needed and made sure I understood everything what doctors said. Also they were checking on me for several days when I felt unwell and I can’t thank them enough! 🙏🙏🙏

Our room had a connecting door (a thin door with a noticeable gap) to the neighboring room. The soundproofing was so poor that we could hear everything from the neighboring room. There is a lot of construction everywhere that starts at 7 am.

Very hospitable staff. It's great they have a big kitchen on the top floor, very comfortable zone with tables and chairs in open air. When you cook yourself with a lot of kitchen utensils, and then to sit and enjoy breeze with your meal.

Die Betten waren bequem. Wir hatten 2 Zimmer mit Verbindungstür. Die Lage war sehr nahe gelegen zum wunderschönen Khem Beach. In der Nähe gibt es ein Paar Essensmöglichkeiten. Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Tolle Massage nebenan (gehört zum Hotel und man bekommt als Hotelgast Rabatt).

Der Baulärm aus dem Nebengebäude ab 7 Uhr.

Отличный отель, в котором есть всё необходимое для проживания! Хорошее расположение, до моря несколько шагов. Также можно арендовать байк. Хозяева немного знают русский язык и очень милые люди. Если ещё приедем на Фукуок, то только в этот отель!

Przemiła obsługa! O co tylko nie zapytaliśmy się, to właścicielka nam załatwiła: pranie, auto, skuter, transport na lotnisko. Dodatkowo można było dogadać się po polsku! Nieduża odległość do najlepszej plaży jaką widzieliśmy, blisko do sklepów i restauracji, a jednocześnie bardzo spokojnie i w bardzo atrakcyjnych cenach!

Gute Lage, relativ schön ausgestattet, sauber und das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Etwas hellhörig und der Wasserdruck in der Dusche ist nicht so hoch.

Персонал отеля был очень добрым, вежливым, услужливы, открытым и гостеприимным. На отдыхе не повезло заболеть - хозяйка отеля заботилась о нас, готовя еду несколько раз в день, принося ее к нам в номер абсолютно бескорыстно, было даже неудобно из-за такой доброты. Хорошая локация, казалось бы - туристическое место, но цены ниже, чем в городе. Очень приятная цена. Близко находится самый лучший пляж. Бесплатный трансфер от и до аэропорта был в подарок за длительное прибывание. На короткий срок - идеально.

Tối 1/12/2025, mình ở phòng 401. Phòng có cửa thông phòng qua 402 nhưng đã đóng, tuy nhiên cách âm phòng rất kém, mình vẫn nghe rõ tiếng TV và tiếng nói chuyện từ phòng 402 qua. Đã liên hệ với khách sạn nhưng do full phòng nên không đổi được phòng khác, và cũng không có phương án tạm thời gì. Mình đã phải tự đi kiếm khách sạn khác ngay trong đêm.

Завтрак заказывали каждый день вечером, на следующий день. Всё было вкусно в традиционном кухне. Удобное расположение отеля. Рядом пляж и бесплатный автобус на Сансет Таун.

Понравилось расположение, в отдалении от суеты, но и до пляжа не далеко. В номере все новое и чисто.

В самом отеле пахло не очень, но в номере все ок. Слышимость хорошая, но повезло с соседями, поэтому было тихо.

Номер очень чистый,мебель новая,оформлен стильно,много места для хранения вещей,уборка каждый день -необходимо оставить ключ.Очень хороший кондиционер,встроен в потолок и не над кроватью,от этого быстро настраивается комфортная температура.Кухня на верхнем этаже,можно приготовить еду.Там же есть холодильник,можно оставить свою еду.В номере тихо,т.к находится на параллельной главной улице,все очень близко к пляжу и ко всем кафе.

В номере нет холодильника и сейфа.

Das Alba Sand Hotel liegt sehr nahe am Khem Beach.

Puh, es fing schon mit Begrüßung an. Die Familie, die das Hotel betreibt, spricht kein Englisch. Gleich zu Beginn wurde uns ein Zettel mit Strafandrohungen überreicht, falls wir stinkende Früchte im Zimmer essen sollten. Im Hotelzimmer angekommen erwartete uns eine weitere Auflistung mit Geldbeträgen, die zu bezahlen sind, falls etwas kaputt geht. Soviel Misstrauen haben wir auf unserer gesamten Vietnamreise nicht erlebt. Ein weiterer Negativpunkt ist die Lage des Hotels in einer Häuserreihe in der die meisten Gebäude leer stehen. Das ist am Khembeach so, aber auch in Sunset Town, die nicht weit vom Khembeach entfernt ist. Aus meiner Sicht ist Phu Quoc grundsätzlich keine Reise mehr wert. Zu sehr wurde in die Natur eingegriffen und es wurden absurde Orte geschaffen, die wie heruntergekommene Filmkulissen wirken.

Loved the hosts! They were very sweet - also let me borrow a Vietnamese hat for free - and gave us beautiful fridge magnets when we were leaving!!! The room is just 2-5 mins (walking distance( from Khem beach which is AMAZING!!!!!! Beautiful, pristine water, with a nice crowd - no nuisance.

The bathrooms & rooms didn't have a freshener. There was a weird smell sometimes.

Close to ocean

The bathroom smells like sewers, the village street has no lights, the air conditioner is not cold enough.

Generally everything is good, we had some discount here in the app so it is worth the money we've paid.

1. Very strange shower water system - when you take a shower the water just flows on the floor just near the water closet. So after you take a shower you can't go to the toilet without getting your feet wet for a long time until the floor becomes dry. 2. They didn't give us the room we booked, instead they gave us another room so there's no strong guarantee of your bookings here.

New hotel with a new simple furnishings, lift, kitchen with everything what you need to cook, fridge in the kitchen, free to use, washing mashine, You can rent motorbike for really good price. Around the hotel is lot of street food what we used for breakfast and drinks during the day. Also restaurants, massage spa on high standard. Beach is 5 minutes walk, the sea is so clean and shallow, it’s great for babies and kids. You can’t swim after sunset and when is red flag on the pole. You can rent a kayak from the resort next too just for 200k per adult and the half for your child, also you can you the bar on the beach. Also you can grab a bike or taxi and go to the main road for restaurant or supermarket just behind the roundabout. Free shuttle to the cable car from the resort, it’s the bus with the open roof. So close is American concentration camp for Vietcong members, the biggest pagoda on the island - 20 minutes to drive. We used Grab for taxi, the best pickup point is in the front of Ann Spa. Just walk around the block. All the hotel is family running business and I felt at grandma cottage’s holiday, definitely recommended.

Kindness of the staff and the location

A family-owned business with a welcoming atmosphere! We arrived late at night without anything to eat, and the hotel manager kindly called a nearby restaurant for us. Their hospitality didn’t stop there — every time we saw them, they greeted us warmly and chatted with us. The stay was honestly great! The hotel had a fully equipped kitchen (different from any regular hotel), perfect for long-term stays, and its proximity to Khem Beach was a huge plus. If I ever return to Phu Quoc, I’d 100% stay here again. Trust me on this!

New Hotel , 2 min to the best beach in VN. Great shower/ bathroom- nice new towels and generally high standard of equipment in the room. Minimart onsite; small balcony for standing but nice rooftop with tables, chairs and modern communal kitchen with fridge for guest use.

Missing a safe in the room, mini fridge in room would be nice .

We could check in early, the staff were very friendly. The roof top area with outside seating, a large kitchen and free to use washing machine was a huge benefit for us. The room was very nice, the onsite mini market was much cheaper than local stores.

Would’ve rated this a 10 if we hadn’t seen a rat on the roof top area. Didn’t feel comfortable to sit out at night again….

Very noisy. We hardly slept. The shower pressure is weak + every time someone in the building uses water, there is a loud noise. The elevator woke us up all night as well
