In eerste instantie kreeg ik een kamer die erg sterk naar rook stonk. Na dit te hebben aangegeven kreeg ik een gratis upgrade en werd het snel geregeld.

Good location, lots to see around the hotel. Additionally getting Grabs/taxis is super easy. The staff are great, the pool is beautiful and the bar is affordable!

No hot water in the rooms

Nice entry foyer area and cafe. Cool pool. Restaurant downstairs.

Electrical things in the room didn't work or worked temperamentally. For example, you have to jiggle and hold in certain position to get USB connection working. Seems power outlets are worn and work intermittently.

Het hotel zelf ziet er prima uit met mooie kamers en een fijn zwembad. Helaas werd ons verblijf verpest door het ontbijt: heel weinig aanbod en de kwaliteit was oké. Toen de koffie ook nog op was en we hier bij de koffiebar aan de voorkant van het hotel vroegen om koffie, moesten we doodleuk $2,50 bijbetalen. Absurde service voor een hotel, zonde van het mooie pand!

The pool was nice and the bed was comfy and it was reasonably quiet. The staff were lovely.

No vegan food at all and weren't willing to make vegan options. Gym was pretty poor.

Logement sale, chambres avec odeur de cigarette malgré l’interdiction de fumer. Petit déjeuner bâclé, ils m’ont servi un « muffin «  complètement sec, qu’on pourrait bien confirmer qu’il datait de quelques jours. Pour compléter l’expérience, présence des cafards dans la chambre, on a informé le personnel de réception pour au moins nous changer de chambre, cette demande a été ignoré malgré plusieurs relances. Ce n’est pas la première fois que nous voyageons en Asie, mais la première fois qu’on est si ignoré par le personnel. Nous sommes très déçus et nous ne recommandons pas cette hôtel.

The beds and rooms was amazing, pool area great, but no one working in the pool bare and the room they call gym is not a gym. It's one broken old machine from 80', no weights. Really bad condition. Unacceptable.

Déçue. L'hôtel est vieillissant et malgré les efforts du jeune personnel, de nombreux problèmes subsistent : petit déjeuner très moyen, menues proposle pain à bagel servi était rassi lorsqu'on a commandé, la propreté superficiel dans les chambres ...bref tout est fait a l'économie et cela ce sent :( Le prix de la chambre étant plutôt très élevé, c'est selon moi un mauvais rapport qualité-prix prix :)

Was offered a free room upgrade which listed a range of benefits such as - welcome drink, fruit basket, turn down services & one way airport transfer. Reception were not giving any of these, insisting they only do airport pickup and not drop off. Took a lot of arguing for them to finally agree to drop off. There were no towels or water in the room when I checked in, had to call and request from reception. Breakfast was not good, the buffet had no food or drinks, had to request milk and the bread and cereal were very stale, same food brought out every day if it wasn’t eaten.

Poor service at reception. No staff at bar to get a drink, gave up after 10 minutes. Supposed to be non smoking hotel, it's not. My superior room was sucking cigarette smoke through air con. Had to remind them several times to make my room up. Dirty cups and no spoons. Sink clogged, bedside light not working, phone cable charger not working. Do not disturb sign outside room goes off when card removed. Staff all too young.

It was a great experience with our stay here again at Monivong Clover Hotel. It was G Mekong Hotel before but everything still good. Pool was very beautiful

The location was very convenient. Staff were friendly.

The pool was under renovations with no warning at point of booking. The breakfast was underwhelming and the milk had soured. One morning we wanted to use the gym but the floor was covered in cigarette butts. We were told it would be cleaned later and told not to smoke... they weren't our cigarette butts!.

I emailed to say when my flight was landing, the hotel asked if I would like to be picked up. I waited an hour and no one showed. Then I got to the hotel and I waited in the lobby for 3.5 hours while the room was made up, I was early that was ok then when it was 2.30 I went and asked again about my room and they could not find my booking so I had to wait again? I got to the room and the TV would not go. They said they would fix it but they did not. Frig didn’t work didn’t cool anything. Dirty hand marks on the walls I wiped them off. The cream lounge suite was lovely but covered in stains , not a good look.

The service was discreet and very good. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable.

Gym needs air con!!

Location was quite central, the staff was super nice and receptive. The building has quite a lot. SPA,Restaurant, Gym…. service was good and the hotel was clean.

The Gym was a warm and equipment was old. I left a sign to do not disturb which goes off when you leave the room. Didn’t want the cleaning service or anyone touching my things so I think would be nice to create a system that makes sense and works even when you’re not at the location.

The hotel was PERMANENTLY closed when I arrived at 8pm and nobody including Booking.com or the hotel notified me.

Booking.com are taking bookings for this hotel, however it has ceased to trade. What a shambles.

They accepted the full refund for free.

When we arrive for the check-in at 6 pm, the hotel mentioned that the crib for our 11 month old baby was not available (even though we had requested in advance during the booking). Also, the pool was under maintenance, which was the main purpose of our stay in Phnom penh to relax in the amenities with our little kids. Lastly, when we checked the room, it was super dirty. So we we end up not staying there, booking a last-minute hotel and asking for a full refund.

La chambre était spacieuse, la literie très confortable et propre bien insonorisé.

Le roof top était sale car des clients organisaient des dîners dessus laissant tous leurs déchets derrière eux. Le personnel nettoyait a peine le rooftop. La piscine était sale avec de nombreuse particules au dessus de l’eau et dedans.

En arrivant le soir on a trouvé l'Hôtel fermé sans avoir ete prévenu. Celui a fait faillite et était en cours de reprise par un nouveau propriétaire

Les espaces communs sont vraiment très jolis et la piscine est superbe. Petit bémol en revanche sur la décoration des chambres, l’agencement des salles de bain (dont les douches débordent sur les toilettes) et la luminosité — certaines chambres donnant directement sur l’immeuble mitoyen. La literie reste toutefois confortable.

Mon principal bémol concerne le staff, qui m’a, pour la seule fois du séjour, mise dans une situation quelque peu inconfortable. Ayant réservé à la dernière minute à un tarif réduit, j’ai eu le sentiment de ne pas être considérée de la même manière, comme si je n’étais pas vraiment “à ma place”... alors que l'hôtel était quasiment vide.

G Mekong is up to Western standards. 4 star plus. Spa gym rooftop pool separate shower and toilet tv fridge. Very comfortable bed. Only issue was fantastic breakfast buffet is a little less opulent but still a great value. Asian and Western food plus espresso machine! Really beautiful lobby like a mini art gallery of sorts

Hotel heeft vlakbij een metrostation wat ideaal is om in Hongkong je te verplaatsen. Kamer is vrij ruim en niet overdreven prijzig, zeker voor Hongkong begrippen. Wij zaten op de bovenste (=29e) verdieping wat een fantastisch uitzicht geeft. Liften werken goed en weinig wachttijd.

Ben zelf niet zo'n fan van vloerbedekking in de kamers en gangen, geeft al snel een smoezelige indruk. Douchen in het ligbad met douchegordijn. Wel een heerlijke warme goede straal

I stayed in room 710, Very nice place, good pool, big clean room, pleasant reception team and room attendants.

Breakfast was really poor ☹️ 3/10 Wooden flooring in my room was not flat. Felt like the floor had come up in certain area’s. Not a biggie but still wasn’t right!

I thought the room was very clean and well laid out. For the price it was quite luxurious. I enjoyed the lovely bar alongside the swimming pool and the overall friendliness of the staff. Highly recommend staying here

The food was fantastic and great prices for a hotel. The staff were excellent and skybar pool great.

Booked last minute and arrived before check in so paid $15 to get room 4 hours early. My fault really should of read conditions when booking.
