The price tag
It was old, unkept, dirty pool, poor gym, and generally seedy
Kind and approachable staff
Velmi ochotný a vstřícný personál. Pobyt splnil naše očekávání.

RIEN
Great breakfast, excellent coffee.
Room showed some wear and tear.
Surely not a 4 start hotel,no way bloody on earth
It says 4 star but it’s not
Great atmosphere and staff very nice
A complimentary ‘welcome’ drink sets the tone for the friendly staff and hospitality you’ll find here. The hotel lobby is a breath of fresh aircon from the hot, dusty streets, and when you get to your room, you’ll find them serviceable if not a little worn. I have given this hotel three-and-a-half stars rather than the four stars it claims because it has seen better days. I got the Superior Double Room with breakfast. I think the photos of the rooms were obviously taken with soft lighting and when the hotel was newer. The TV worked well with plenty of channels in a variety of languages to choose from. The Wi-Fi was good enough, if not a little slow sometimes. The table and two chairs in the hotel room were good to study or work, or you could use the desk. However, with only one electrical socket near the desk, and only two in the room total, you need to think ahead when it comes to charging your devices. The desk lamp and kettle use the same electricity socket, so they are additional appliances to juggle for access to the power point. Some small things go a long way. The room had a clock on the wall, which was great. Also, there were scales in the room to weigh your luggage or for those of use who like to monitor their weight. An iron and ironing board helps if you like those sorts of things. The TV was a little bigger than other places I stayed and the generous cupboards and floor space helped make the place feel roomy. There was enough space to put things without getting lost in a jumble.
The breakfasts are good but did not change much over the five days I stayed here. The coffee was good, which means a lot to me as a person who enjoys their morning beverage. There is a selection of fruit (papaya or watermelon, pineapple, and dragonfruit); Khmer noodles; eggs of various styles; toast and croissants; muesli or cereal; salad; and fried rice, fried noodles, or congee. The ‘fresh’ milk comes from a carton. The noodles were a little salty. Even the Khmer person I talked to did not think they were good. The eggs were a little oily. After three days, I wanted more options. The gym is disappointing. All of the cardio machines (bike, cross-trainer, running machine) are not connected to the electricity. The photos look impressive but in reality they are old now and not working. The cross-trainer is rusty. I adjusted the leg length on one side but could not move the other. There are dumb bells and resistance machines for chest, legs, lats and triceps, so it will do in a pinch, but the cardio options are terrible. I suggest you do laps in the pool if you need to but forget running. The gym is also a hothouse, and the aircon was not working. So, time your visit for the morning or evening because you can fry an egg in there during the middle of the day (and the equipment has aged because of this).

So, time your visit for the morning or evening because you can fry an egg in there during the middle of the day (and the equipment has aged because of this). The bathroom was good. There was a stale smell when I first walked in, but it was not too bad and got better when we turned the aircon on. I liked that the shower had glass doors that keep the water away from everything else in the room. The water was hot and the water pressure was good. Shampoo and body wash are provided. The towels hang over the toilet, which is one of my pet peeves but there was a hook behind the door for one towel and a hanger for clothes, so some thought has been put into utilizing this space properly. The surrounding area includes the Orussey Markets with plenty of street food options. Cafes and restaurants are close by. The area seems to have a lot of Vietnamese and Chinese options too. The local streets have their own markets too, and it seems to be a tailor district, if you’re looking for a bespoke shirt or suit. There are plenty of laundry options across the road and an excellent barber/ hairdresser who speaks a bit of English and offers a reasonable price for a good haircut. He has a book you can look through and choose your style, which helps avoid any miscommunication. There are plenty of tuk tuks to take you where you want to go. If the markets don’t have what you want, you can ask the staff. It is a short drive to the Olympic Markets, Olympia Mall, a street that sold a lot of bicycles, and another (Kampuchea Krom Blvd #128) where there was plenty of Computer/digital technology. The room service and sky bar food is good. There is a good range of Asian and Western options but not much in the way of desserts. Plenty of drink options including specials for those interested in such things.
This is a very good hotel and is recommended.
It was clean and the staff were friendly
The location is in a dirty area
Standard szoba gyenge,
All of the staff are friendly and helpful. Good central location for the city. This hotel has the potential of having excellant ratings. Small but very frustrating issues continue.. The previous hot water problems may have been resolved. The excessively loud music at the pool may have now been resolved. Other issues noted below.
My wife and I stay often, the location suits us but our criticism is always the same.....poor maintenance. *Water dripped from the ceiling air-conditioned during the night. A large towel was placed on the floor to catch the drips and was very wet in the morning. *The bathroom shower has grout missing around the inside of the shower stall floor tile. *The shower wall tile has black mould in the grout. *The reception toilet for guests, male side, has an automatic tap in the hand basin that did not work during my visit. *The elevation priority programming needs attention. During peak times the upper floors get priority. Multiple guests can queue on lower floors and the elevator does not arrive for 5 to 8 minutes bypassing lower floors.
Excellent location. Wonderful staff. Great views from the roof. Kuy teav for breakfast in addition to eggs etc. Nice shower.
Hard to say that there was anything lacking here. Great value.
Excellent people, everybody is very kind, especially Bun Hong, what a great guy. Room is clean, food is good, everything is great!
Good location, great staff and amenities included in price. Only downside is that bath towels are small and not all channels on the TV worked well. Others yes I would stop here again, un beatable at this price.
TV channels and small towels
the bed was comfortable enough. good aircon, staff were polite
If I could go back in time and yell at myself not to book this hotel I would. I dont even know where to begin. Firstly, we booked the executive room with the massive curved window to see the city view. This was the biggest reason I booked this hotel over others I was looking at. The city view was terrible, in the photo on booking.com you can see buildings lights, in real life its just a black window. This might not seem like a big deal, but it was 90% of the reason why I booked here, and paid more for an 'executive" room over a basic one. Next, the photo of the bathroom for the executive room on booking.com is fake. The bathroom in the room was much older, run down, mouldy and had zero resemblence to the photo online. When I brought up both of these issues with staff they said about the window "ok. we dont have any available rooms facing the better city view, sorry maybe try again tomorrow." and the response to the bathroom- "oh yeah its just a different decoration not a different room." when I called this out, they changed the story and said "oh okay, well its because the bathroom in your room has been renovated, so the photo on the booking app is the old bathroom. we have no rooms with those bathrooms" I told them that was not okay, and they need to change the photos to being the real photos of the room so people are aware of what they are paying for. This is not ok and i dont know how the hotel is getting away with it? its false advertising, and upon calling it out I thought the staff would care more, maybe offer a resolution to the obvious unhappiness but they didnt do anything. After this, I saw a bug inside the robe in the room, it looked like a bed bug.
Pool area was fabulous break away from the city. Great cocktails and staff lovely. (could do with a bit of clean/freshen up) but is still very nice. The best thing was having breakfast on the first floor over looking the street. At around 8.30/9.00 the monks would come out and pray with the locals. It was such a beautiful sight. Hotel is great value for money. We also had a fabulous time with the tuktuk driver located outside the hotel. He then put us in touch with another driver in Siem Reap.
Cant think of anything we didn't like about the hotel.
The room was a great size. The ac worked well. Fridge was handy.
Restaurant was closed on our first night for cleaning. Not a bad thing but no alternative was offered.
Firstly the staff were amazing, helpful, friendly and polite. The hotel was clean, cool and easy to get around. The breakfast was buffet style and accommodated all tastes I can't recommend this hotel more highly

Great comfortable stay as always. been there on numerous occasions. Staff are great. Roof Bar is good and pool if you want. The breakfast is excellent, the restaurant is very good, wide range on the menu and prices comparable to tourist places, though not as cheap as local food.
The housekeeping could be a little better, should replace complementary tea each day, but didn't. Cleaning of used cups and glasses should not consist of a quick wipe with a cloth.
The room was sufficient, though a little small. Overall value for money stay, Good location -within 2 km of major attractions (Easily travellable by tuktuk), people at the front desk were nice
Overall service, Breakfast was basic (Even fruits were of low quality), No housekeeping in the morning or night, No refreshing coffee or tea, cost saving oriented hotel
Orussey one Hotel & Apartment, A wonderful stay at this hotel with a warm welcome with such friendly staff who are always available and ready to help. A beautiful view of Phnom Penh great location and the pool on the rooftop is perfect. No complaints about the rooms they were very clean and well-equipped I would like to thank my friend Mr Bun Hong for his kindness. I’d like to add that the breakfast is excellent it offers a wide variety of both sweet and savoury options, making it perfect for visitors staying in Phnom Penh. I recommend ✌️👌
Rooftop swimming pool was brilliant
Breakfast could have been better
Výborná snídaně a vynikající lokalita v blízkosti místních lidí.

Good breakfast, lovely staff, clean well maintained
Personnel très gentil et serviable

I liked the hotel was right in the middle of a Cambodian residential area which I picked so I could interact with the locals and not other tourists albeit it was nice talking to other hotel residents from other countries. I found it quite fascinating seeing and feeling the Cambodian way of life.
I can honestly say there was nothing I disliked about my whole holiday, the only thing I found difficult was crossing the roads lol.
A nice hotel with centrally located in Phnom Penh, making it easy to explore the city. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious, perfect for relaxing after a busy day. Guests enjoy a delicious Kuyteav and varied breakfast each morning The staff are friendly and attentive, always ready to assist The rooftop pool and sky bar provide a great spot to unwind Overall, it’s a highly recommended hotel with excellent value
Clean, spacious rooms and a friendly staff make this hotel a great choice in Phnom Penh. The rooftop pool is a highlight
