Villa Alba, Berawa, Large Private 4BR Villa Near the Beach

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa. Staff were fantastic—so friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The location was great being just a short distance from the beach. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back again!

Given 4 choices for breakfast, perhaps a bit more variety in the 4 choices.

Beautiful villa in great location, however it was the beautiful staff who made our experience so much better.

Nikki, the house keeper was absolutely amazing and delightful. House is as described and the team is very accommodating to all inquiries over WhatsApp. Breakfast is simple but very much appreciated and convenient.

Good things first - The staff were very good to deal with. The host, the breakfast lady and Niki were very friendly. BUT that's the only good part, the property itself was disappointing. We had a very bad experience over the 3 nights of our stay. There were 3 rooms with aircon not working so we struggled to sleep at all as it was very hot! On the 3rd day, someone did come to repair the aircon and said it should be working fine now and left. The host offered comp late checkout due inconvenience. HOWEVER, the aircon was still not working in 2 bedrooms so 2 of our families in the group had to sleep on the floor of the living room due to the hot bedrooms. When we pay for accommodation, one of the main things is sleeping facilities and if you are not able to sleep comfortably in the bedrooms, then what's the use of paying a premium? Please think of this before booking. Furthermore, one of the room had a wash basin sink leaking water and it spoilt all clean clothes kept in the shelf leading to us doing laundry due to the water spoiling the clean clothes (this was fixed by the property later but the clothes had already become dirty and we had to clean them all again).

As explained above, due to the above issues with air-conditioning in the room, we were not able to sleep comfortably at the property and what's the use of paying for accommodation if you can't sleep properly?

the beds need to all be changed, was so uncomfortable the showers water pressure was sooooooooo bad, was hard to shower when there hardly was any water available lights wouldn't switch on due to technical issues prior our arrival which hadn't been fixed. and was then being looked at while we were staying there which was a inconvenience.

Everything. The Villa is fabulous. Spacious and provided great accommodation for 10 people. Lovely rooms, Comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Breakfast lady was lovely and met our needs every day. The cleaning staff were great. Everything was always clean. Nothing was too much trouble. The pool was cleaned every day. The gardens were maintained daily.

The location is great, near to beach and beach clubs, as well as excellent restaurants. The Villa is beautifully decorated. A cook came in to prepare breakfast off a menu, which was timely, and friendly. Highly recommended.

The Villa Alba is a huge, stunning villa in great location- quiet but with close access to the beach and restaurants. Amazing staff who looked after us.

Beautiful oasis in a quiet lane 5 mins walk from the beach. Loved the breakfasts, the pool, the spacious cool living area, the bedrooms. The staff were wonderful.

The complimentary breakfast was excellent. The villa is large, beautiful, nice pool and great cooling.

The villa was beautiful. Rooms were all large and well equipped. Beds and pillows were super comfortable. Living area and kitchen was huge with everything you needed. Pool.area was beautiful with pool around 14metres. Cook made us breakfast every morning and cleaner arrived daily to maintain the property and clean rooms. She also went out for shopping when needed.

We were more than happy with everything.

We enjoyed the place, facilities and the location. The staff were great from the airport pick up to the cleaning staff and the daily breakfast.

We love the property, from the interior to cleanliness, it's huge and have everything needed for 10 of us. The host was very attentive and met us to hand over the key unlike some other properties, it's hard to reach. Breakfast was great, too! Beautiful property and keep up the good work!

The hosts were there to greet us. The place is lovely and open and the hosts are willing to help you out with everything you need. Lovely and polite and made the trip much more enjoyable.

Be prepared for mosquitoes, they were everywhere and we needed to apply repellent before bed and through the night for our kids. A lot of construction around in this area too.

Villa Alba was amazing! We had a lovely time staying here. The staff were beyond beautiful and always caring for us. The villa is extremely clean and spacious! Perfect for groups of friends or family. It is in a great location! Super close to all the key spots. I would definitely come back here! Not one fault!

The villa was absolutely amazing. I wouldn’t change anything.

There was only 1 set of keys. So for a big group we always had to wait for the one with the keys to come home first if we were doing seperate things.

The bedrooms and outdoor area around the pool are really good.

New towels to the bathrooms are required. The breakfast was ok but we have had better breakfast at other villas.

The property is huge, bedrooms are very large and luxurious. The living area and pool are amazingly relaxing.

You’re a little removed from the main area of Canggu with the shops and restaurants. There is also another Villa Alba in Canggu so I had drivers go to the wrong place a couple of times. There are lots of mozzies and given the house is completely open in the main space there really is no getting away from them.

the beds were very confortable

The villa it wasn’t clean when we arrived: empty bottles or beer left from the former guests, rubbish in the sink, hairs in the bathoom…we called the owner and the staff cleaned the house again. Also the house felt like a zoo. There were cats - we asked them to keep them in the garage. gekkos everywhere which is fine but also two bit lizzards which are very scary, in addtion to crabs and frogs at night. We were 4 girlfriends and we ended up staying all in two rooms as it was quite scary.

The location is good, and the villa design is cute. The breakfast is complimentary and the cook was really accommodating and the food was not bad at all.

Although the villa design is nice, It was extremely dirty, and a bit outdated. In one room the shower didn’t work and was protect and it didn’t seem to make a difference to the cleaner or owners. Kitchen could use a bit of uplifting in equipments their are all rusty. There was no coffee or water or anything for guests. There is construction right next to the villa so it’s not quiet. There are 2 adorable cats in the villa but should be mentioned for people who have allergies and don’t want to be woken up by the cats at the door and with their collar bells. In general optional indoor living spaces with aircon is needed in Bali (but that’s subjective feedback? Some people don’t mind the mosquitoes and heat)

The host and the property were great. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we were well looked after and facilitate any additional items we requested (e.g. taxi, bikes, massages etc.). The property itself was beautiful and great for a group. Loved the pool and the outdoor/indoor areas. Breakfast cooked at your desired time was a lovely touch also. One of our favourite villas in Bali - wishing we could come back soon!

Location is slightly away from the main streets of Canggu but very close to the beach and beach clubs. Everything still within a walk or short uber so did not trouble us.
