Great location and pool area.

If you love famous attractions like Finns, Atlas, or Mesa, this place is a literally great decision. Located just a 10–15 minute walk from these iconic spots, it is tucked away in a quiet side alley, offering a peaceful retreat despite its central position in Canggu. The staff were super attentive, and messaging them on WhatsApp made everything so easy. Their local tips were spot-on! I loved the cozy pool area, which it such a chill vibe. Practical perks like the water refill station and ice-cold AC were a huge plus too.

A couple of minor things to keep in mind: the on-site bar isn't really a full-service, always-open setup—it’s more like room service where you order drinks on ground floor or near a pool and they bring them over to you. Also, they don't serve breakfast on-site, but that honestly was no issue for me at all since the neighbourhood is packed with amazing cafés within a short walk.

Alles war wirklich top 10/10. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gut ausgestattet. Es wird auch ein super Service von den Mitarbeitern dort geboten, die in jeglichen Themen unterstützen. Ich kann das Hotel jedem empfehlen

Die ganze Atmosphäre ist super schön, toll Eingerichtet. Außerdem ist die Lage extrem Zentral und trotzdem in einer Nebengasse gelegene die ruhiger ist. Wir konnten alles zu Fuß erreichen

Amazing place with nice rooms. The bed was super comfortable and the shower had nice water pressure. Staff were super friendly and took their time to walk us through everything, even though we had some delays and arrived after the reception was closed. The place doesn't have many rooms and it is located off of the main road so it's nice and quiet.

La struttura di per sé è bella , e molto centrale e si trova praticamente a 600 metri dal finns e 400 m dall’atlas quindi poco da dire

This is the very beautiful hotel and very clean. If you would like to have been in canggu, close to Atlas and finsbeach club. This is the good location a little bit busy, but it's nice close to everything.You don't have to grapping any taxi.alot good restaurants around.

The room with bathtub is on level 1 and next to public toilets.

Hotellet lå veldig nært det meste av fasiliteter, og det var alltid rent og ryddig. Ble alltid møtt med et smil og personalet hjalp til veldig fort hvis det trengtes.

Massive room with comfy bed, great shower. friendly staff, clean, QUIET (hard to come by in Canggu), great location… it’s very good, I recommend this place.

Comme toujours à Bali, des bruits de travaux aux alentours... Mais on ne peut pas y échapper, c'est partout pareil et cela n'a pas entaché mon séjour.

The staff's friendliness and the hotel's location are its strongest points.

The rooms are older than they appear in the photos. The pristine white sheets and pillowcases had multiple yellow stains. There's a lot of noise due to construction right next to the hotel. I think they should provide disposable slippers for guests staying at the hotel, and they didn't, which is another negative point.

La chambre est très propre et entretenue régulièrement. L'accueil est exceptionnel avec un cocktail de bienvenue. Le personnel est accueillant et toujours attentif à notre bien-être.

The property was in a fantastic location, very central near cafes, shops, nightlife etc. staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to provide such generous services, as well as always having a big smile on their face and willing to assist with everything. The facilities were great, pool and outdoor terrace for chilling and tanning.. rooms were spacious and comfortable.

Can’t say a single bad thing!

We had a lovely stay at Canggu Art Hotel. The staff were truly wonderful, their kindness and willingness to help were really exceptional and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The rooms are very nice, comfortable and well kept, and the location is simply perfect for exploring Canggu. Everything was convenient and easy to reach. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!

The staff is great especially Yosua and Kadek, and another lady. They are very lovely and greeting you very well. Location is closer to the beach 10 minutes walking & the area is close to any restaurants, small shops if you want to buy something. Highly recommended, they have a small lovely pool and the welcome drink is great.

The only thing is they don't provide breakfast but they have many restaurants that they can recommend to you

Wie hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt!😃 Super freundliche Rezeptionisten! Wir hatten einen späten Flug und durften auch nach dem Check-out bis unser Taxi um 23.00 Uhr kam die ganze Anlage weiter benutzen (inkl. Pool, Dusche, so viel Handtücher wie wir wollten). Der Rezeptionist ist sogar extra eine Stunde länger geblieben und hat mit uns aufs Taxi gewartet.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+ An Absolute Gem in Canggu! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Guru Art Boutique Hotel! I originally booked a week stay, but I enjoyed it so much that I extended my stay for an additional two weeks. My room was spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in while traveling, making it easy to rest after long days exploring Bali. The shower was another highlight—plenty of hot water with excellent water pressure, which is something every traveler appreciates. What truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional staff. Every single team member was warm, welcoming, friendly, and genuinely attentive. Whenever I had a question or needed anything, they responded quickly and always made me feel valued as a guest. Their hospitality made my stay feel like home. The atmosphere of the hotel is peaceful, relaxing, and full of charm. It became my sanctuary during my time in Canggu, and I was genuinely sad to leave. Without hesitation, I can say I will be staying here again when I return to Bali next summer. If you're looking for a boutique hotel with outstanding service, comfortable accommodations, and a welcoming environment, Guru Art Boutique Hotel is an easy 5+++ star recommendation!

The only minor downside had nothing to do with the hotel itself. Because it’s located near several popular beach clubs, you can occasionally hear music, especially in the evenings. There was also some nearby construction during my stay, which created daytime noise at times. That said, these are factors outside of the hotel’s control, and they certainly didn’t take away from my overall experience. The exceptional staff, comfortable accommodations, and welcoming atmosphere far outweighed these minor inconveniences. I would absolutely stay here again.

This staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. The rooms were also beautiful and the pool. I highly recommend this place. It’s in a really good spot and has great restaurants and nightlife around it. Definitely gonna come back here.

J’ai passé un excellent séjour au Guru Canggu. Toute l’équipe est incroyablement accueillante, souriante et toujours prête à aider. Ils donnent de très bons conseils pour découvrir Canggu et on se sent vraiment entre de bonnes mains. La chambre était toujours impeccable, le service de ménage était excellent et le service de blanchisserie rapide et efficace. Une mention toute spéciale à Yosua, qui a été exceptionnel tout au long de mon séjour. Toujours disponible, de très bon conseil et avec une vraie gentillesse. Il a largement contribué à rendre mon expérience encore meilleure. Je recommande cet établissement les yeux fermés et j’y reviendrai avec grand plaisir !

The property is well located down a private alley. The staff are very friendly and attentive and we very helpful working around our late check in. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was nice and cold!

The staff were great and very friendly. I didn’t realise it was only 7 rooms so they were all very chatty and polite. I only stayed for one night so I didn’t get the chance to try the facilities like the pool but they said you can use it 24 hours which was a nice touch.

They did not have a breakfast option but the staff were happy to recommend nearby cafes that did not disappoint.

Like the strategic location of Guru Canggu Art Hotel. It takes around 10 minutes ride to every places that we want to go. A big thanks to the staff for the great hospitality, recommendations of food and places to go. The sharing of Bali’s culture by the staff help us to know Bali better 🫶🫶

The staff’s advice and recommendations were absolutely perfect. Every restaurant they suggested was amazing—I enjoyed one of them so much that I visited twice during my stay. I also followed their recommendation to visit the rice terraces by rental bike, and it became one of my favorite memories in Bali. The daily sunset walks, relaxing by the pool, and even the occasional visits from the resident cat made every day special. The room was stylish, spotless, and thoughtfully designed with no unnecessary clutter. Everything felt comfortable, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. The atmosphere throughout the property was calm and welcoming, making it easy to relax and enjoy every moment. I would also like to thank the staff for always greeting me with genuine smiles and making me feel welcome every day. Their hospitality made me feel less like a guest and more like a friend. What made this place exceptional was not only the beautiful property itself but also the warmth and professionalism of the staff. Their recommendations and kindness helped me experience the very best of Canggu. Bali is a wonderful destination, but this hotel is one of the reasons my trip became so memorable. Very nice staff, the hotel feels very cosy, & I loved my room! Especially the bathtub and the spacious feeling. Also they gift you a coconut on arrival which is very cute

The only real problem was the nightclubs that are quite close and you hear some music a bit loud until quite late at night. It’s not too bothering for me but for someone sensitive to noise, be careful with all hotels in this area or bring earplugs!

The staff are exceptional! Truly kind, caring and helpful. They prepared our room to be extra special in celebration of our anniversary which made our stay even more memorable. Otherwise the location is perfect with everything you need nearby and the room itself is very nicely decorated.

The property is a small hotel down a quiet laneway. The artworks in the foyer being life to the hotel. Staff are so helpful as I had to check in late they were super accommodating.
