Reviewed Aug 31, 2026Notre espace personnel était spacieux. Avec une salle de bain, un coin canapé et notre chambre. L’environnement est agréable avec la vue sur le loch, les animaux de la ferme. Le lit était confortable.
Les propriétaires ont fait l’effort de faire des arrangements pour que je puisse manger sans lactose ce que je salue mais la quantité du petit Déjeuner était un peu limitée et nous avons eu vite faim. Nous aurions aimé avoir un petit déjeuner anglais avec saucisse, beans…

The hosts are very welcoming and sympathetic and discreet altogether. We will recommend this place to all our Luxembourgish friends and family! An absolute must when touring through Scotland.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026I stayed for 4 nights, and the whole experience was absolutely magical and perfect. The view from my apartment was a dream, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious! But most of all, Mairi and Gary were incredibly welcoming, kind, and caring. They made me feel so comfortable and at home that, by the end of my stay, I regretted not staying longer. I was travelling solo, and thanks to them, I always felt completely safe and well looked after. Thank you so much, Mairi and Gary, for making this trip so special and unforgettable for me! I’ll be back for sure!

Reviewed Jul 2, 2026Azt kaptuk, amit vártunk. Egy család házában volt plusz pár szoba, amely kiadó volt, illetve egy közös reggeliző helyiség (egy nagy asztal, ami köré minden vendég le tud ülni). A szoba kicsi, egyszerű, de alapvetően tiszta volt. A szállásadó hölgy nagyon vendégszerető. Voltak háziállatok (nem zavaró! aki szeret kutyával játszani, annak kifejezetten ajánlom, mert itt van egy állandóan játszani akaró, fáradhatatlan kutya :) ), a házból közvetlenül le lehet sétálni a tengerpartra, étkezési lehetőségek is voltak a közelben (még gyalogtávolságra is).

Ja jums patīk dzīvnieki, tad šī vieta jums patiešām patiks. Olu kultenis brokastīs bija ļoti laba restorāna kvalitātes. No sirds iesaku.

Reviewed Jun 20, 2026Gary en Mairi zijn 2 geweldige hosts. Gezellig ontbeten aan een gezamenlijke tafel met andere gasten. Een heerlijk vers ontbijt met het lekkerste roerei wat je ooit hebt gegeten! Mairi heeft ons een goede tip gegeven om met de motor te rijden. Wat een geweldig mooie route! Foto's zijn precies zoals het is. Prijs kwaliteit is goed.

La proprietaria è di una gentilezza e solarità unica. Colazione ottima nel salotto vista lago. Consiglio vivamente a chi vuole staccare completamente la spina con il mondo e regalarsi un po' di pace.

Reviewed Oct 18, 2025The croft lies in a beautiful location overlooking the loch. It is a smallholding with goats ,ducks and hens. Additionally the owners have two friendly dogs. We were allocated a "mini suite" which in essence meant a double bedroom with wall TV on one side of the hallway and a small sitting room with settee and TV on the other .The bathroom was in the middle. Comfy bed with good bed lights which allowed reading in bed. However the lack of a dressing table was disappointing. No surface to put small items on..The bathroom was on the small side with a small low handbasin. Again no shelf on which to put items.like shaving gear.The walk in shower unit was of good proportion. Breakfast was continental although the place setting had a knife and fork which suggested a cooked breakfast which we would have preferred. The owners were very nice and welcoming
I think the absence of a small dressing table was a minus and the bathroom could do with a wall shelf . For the money I think the eestablishment could have stretched to a a cooked breakfast.

Auch mit den anderen Gästen konnte man beim gemeinsamen Frühstück gut ins Gespräch kommen. Die Lage der Unterkunft war auch einfach großartig mit einem traumhaften Ausblick. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

The house itself is beautiful, well cared for, and set in a breathtaking location. If you’re brave enough, don’t miss the chance to take a dip in the cold but refreshing waters of the lake right in front of the house. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. We loved everything about our stay and would definitely love to come back!

Diese Unterkunft ist genau richtig für Menschen, die fernab der Anonymität der Hotels, Herzliche Gastfreundschaft suchen! Super geschmackvolles Ambiente. Absolute Sauberkeit, trotz all der lieben Tiere, welche hier ein zufriedenes Zuhause haben ! Selbsgemachte Frühstücksleckereien ( Gebäck, Joghurt, Marmeladen und vieles mehr...) versüssen den Start in den Tag !

Das Doppelbett war leider für mich äußerst ungemütlich. Das Fenster sollte nachts geschlossen bleiben, wenn man nicht früh morgens von Dauer-Gekrähe eines Hahns geweckt und munter gehalten werden möchte.

I proprietari molto gentili, accoglienti e di supporto per ogni chiarimento, prenotazione cena. La junior suite spaziosa e confortevole.
