Shower over bath was a bit challenging but fully disclosed
Great location and facilities. No fuss, everything was sorted.A toot and a wave from the hosts was all that was required. No TV, wifi and a UE boom supplied for a relaxing stay.
Jodie made so much effort to personally make us feel welcome and make The Stables a very cosy place to stay for the night. There were so many details and extra touches that made the stay truly memorable. The Stables is a very peaceful location, clean, comfortable, well equipped, parking, comfortable bed, lovely linen, private. Jodie provided a lovely breakfast- fresh eggs are provided and all pantry stock eg muesli, bagels etc are changed between guests. Jodie even bought a full loaf of GF bread for me. Our only regret is that we only stayed one night.
We prefer showers to baths and the in- bath shower didn't work for us. Everything else was perfect!
By far one of the best places we have ever stayed in. Jodie was incredibly accomodating, and her dogs and animals on the farm were so sweet. The place is gorgeous, smells delightful and is well stocked with beautiful little flourishes. Very comfy and cosy, and idyllic. Would 100% recommend and will definitely stay again in the future!
The place was charming - a bit rustic for our taste but it had everything you needed. The resident dogs are lovely
Lack of internet and no TV and didn’t like the shower arrangement
We loved the peace and quiet of the farmstay, and the fabulous views of the mountains. And the dogs! Bikes were provided - thank you so much - and we did a leisurely ride exploring the area. We loved the nearby chooks and piglets, and sitting out on the patio enjoying the view. The accommodation was comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, and the hosts were warm and friendly.
There was no wifi or television. As we were overseas visitors, wifi was essential, and this was not adequately clear at the time of booking. Breakfast foods were provided - eggs and bread - but it was DIY and this was also not clear beforehand. An outside BBQ would also have been nice, as the kitchen contains only two hot plates for cooking, not an oven. Showering was a little difficult as the shower tends to splash over the bath, and getting in and out of the bath may be difficult for some (not so young) people.
Impeccable attention to detail, including the comfortable robes, lovely bedding and cushions. Lovely jams and breakfast included. Cleaned to perfection.
Wifi would have been a bonus and a tv
This was the best curated property we have ever stayed in! Not only was it beautiful and comfortable but all those little things that make the discovery of a new space so exciting.
This is a fantastic location and Jodie is a super host. Beautifully presented Barn conversion that has been fitted out to the highest standards. Rustic feel in farmyard with chickens, pigs and newly arrived 8 piglets at time of my visit. Room is very large and comfortable. Kitchen well appointed with great appliances and breakfast provisions. Would strongly recommend a stay here, my only regret was i was only there for one evening.
Vineyard opposite closed for the day. Nothing Jodie could have done about that!
Character, setting, amenities (beautifully appointed) loved the relaxed feel and PIGLETs ❣️
Breakfast was good. Unit was fitted out in appropriate farm theme items.
No tv or radio.
A wonderful transformation of old stables into a boutique accommodation that is thoroughly delightful.
There’s is nothing to dislike.
