Reviewed Apr 20, 2026A gorgeous place, well appointed with new kitchen wear and lovely hand soap and moisturiser. I loved the selection of herbal tea, chamomile honey and vanilla was something I hadn't tried before. Perfect spot to visit vineyards and explore the region from.

Nothing to dislike, but worth noting the places for dinner are in Amberley.

Reviewed Nov 12, 2025We loved the setting and the privacy, with the cabin being in the olive grove and the sheep roaming around. Everything well provided for especially in the kitchen. Short distances to the wineries. The bed was very comfortable. Jane responded to any questions quickly.
Not having a small table and chairs to sit at to eat, and nowhere to put luggage - but we managed.

Easy communication for check in and recommendations for dinner. Spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated. Highly recommend if you're in the Waipara region

Reviewed Sep 9, 2025The cabin was in a beautiful setting surrounded by olive trees and cute sheep and super quiet. The cabin was well appointed and very clean, bed was extremely comfortable. Shower was terrific, all in all it was the perfect stay.
Not much! A couple of the pillows could do with replacing and the salt shaker filled up, but seriously I am only trying to find something here. It was a great stay.

We visited a winery, had a lovely meal in the nearby town and got back to the cabin with a bottle of wine and a spectacular night sky! We would highly recommend this beautiful place!

Reviewed Dec 16, 2024The most special place we stayed in a month of travelling in NZ… hands down… including no more than two nights spent in one spot and having stayed places we spent much much more to enjoy This is a gem of a spot… go, take as much time as you can; embrace the peace and quiet; luxurious bed and stylish/indulgent furnishings and fittings With the lovliest host ❤️ And the local area has so much to offer - wineries, a cracking brewery; gorgeous cafe… enjoy it!!

Reviewed Nov 28, 2024We had an amazing stay at the Olive Grove Cabin. All our needs were more than met and the property is beautifully appointed with everything anyone will need during their holiday. The location is absolutely stunning and we didn't want our holiday to end. The hosts were wonderful and we were so well taken care of. We will definitely be going back again for another holiday at the Olive Grove Cabin.
