Harmony Old Town Hostel and Pool Bar

The hotel was fantastic! The rooms were clean, beautiful, and well-equipped. The staff were friendly, enthusiastic, and provided attentive service. The location was convenient, and the space was comfortable. I was very satisfied and will definitely return if I have the chance! ❤️

Location was close to old town and quiet street. Breakfast ok- eggs made to order. Friendly staff

No hot water- switch was taped over so you could not turn it on. The balcony was tiny and shared with another room. Very hard bed- like a rock. Had a pool but never used it due to its location - next to reception and undercover. Very quite so no real vibe and no sociable area- may be due to low season

Harmony Hostel is a wonderful place to stay! The location is perfect, convenient for exploring the area, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with nice options to start the day.

Room was clean, nice staff and other guests. Pool was a nice touch on a hot day, nice and cool. Good drink deals in the bar.

Room was a bit small, and on the fourth floor meant a bit of a long way to get there, especially in the heat.

Great staff and location, provided a lot of recommendations about the area and helped me book tours and a bus out of Hoi An. Very good value for money.

They ran out of towels on the last day, but I am not sure how often this happens. Maybe bring your own towel in case.

Good location

The bed was as hard as a rock and extremely uncomfortable. We were also told that there were no towels available. When we asked what we were supposed to do because we needed to take a shower, the reception staff laughed and thought it was funny. Their response was simply, “You can take a shower, but there are no towels.” This level of service was very disappointing and unprofessional.

The staff here are incredibly friendly and very helpful and attentive. Breakfast is delicious. The swimming pool is very clean and refreshing, perfect for the hot weather in Hoi An. The rooms are clean, the toilets are very clean, and the showers are great.

There's nothing to complain about. Everything here is great.

I especially thank to Toi (i hope i wrote her name) , so nice and positive girl at reseption - she upgrade our room and helped a lot. Breakfast is really nice and open buffet. If you want to go a tour or hire a taxi for airport : they do all with really good prices. There are unlimited drink time at 6.45 pm Location is really , banks - kfc … all next to you

Beds are the only problem about this hostel, especially if someone is at upper bed - it’s like a earthquake . I put towel as a curtain

Really nice you get a free drink at 6:45 pm. Friendly and helpful straff. And great selection on breakfast buffé. Location is nice and plenty of space to interact with people.

Would have loved some curtains on the bed. And the pool was freezing. And in a busy reception , so not really of use for anyone .

-The staff was friendly and supportive. They managed to rearrange a whole 8-bed dorm room for our group with urgency. -The facilities and services were comfortable and excellent, especially free breakfast, swimming pool and billiards. -Its location was very convenient (i.e. lots of food stores, mini marts and pharmacies nearby). It took us about 5 minutes to reach the riverside on foot. For what this place offers, you can't really ask for a better price.

Great location to the old town and the social atmosphere was nice for a hostel with a pool and pool table.

The private room was incredibly small for a couple as we could barely put our bags down on the floor and move about the room. The bathroom was tiny too with the shower practically over the toilet, and the shower head was broken so you could only hold it in your hand to use it. There was a leak from the neighbouring room which came into our room, but luckily not onto ours bags as the staff quickly realised our room was getting flooded. Staff and cleaners did work very hard to stop the flooding as soon as possible and was very apologetic which we appreciated. However, would not recommend a couple to stay here, we cancelled the rest of our stay after 1 night, but I guess you get what you pay for!

Very lovely owner and staff, she recommended us a tailor to use while we were in Hanoi. Hostel was very clean at all times and had good facilities: pool table, bar, free breakfast, swimming pool. The room was very nice, good air conditioning and a balcony. We would definitely stay here again!

Had booked 5 nights stay in private room. On 4th night saw a huge bedbug in our bed. Immediately packed up and went downstairs to ask to move room as it was 3am and were not in a position to leave that late at night. Staff tried to blame the issue on us but agreed to move us into another (empty) 4 bed dorm. Left our things outside of the dorm and went to inspect the room, at which point we immediately found baby bed bugs on the 2 bunks and around light switches. Went to tell reception and again they said it must have been us (despite us not moving anything into the new room and being in there for 5 mins). Eventually managed to check out early and we were refunded for that night and the next night. We told the hostel to take it seriously as it looked like an infestation, however the next night we walked past and saw from the street that new people were staying in our private room, so I guess the hostel did not fumigate or clean properly before allowing others to move in.

Bit of a party hostel. Young girl spent half of one night in my room crying in the bathroom with her boyfriend who ended up staying in her bed with her despite it being a female only dorm. Not one for older travellers looking for some peace and quiet.

Leuke bar en goede drankregels (happy hour) het was heel gezellig en de kamer was netjes en werd elke dag schoongemaakt

Het was wel een beetje gehorig en best een party hostel. We lazen dat het hier rustiger zou zijn. De kamer was beetje aan de kleine kant maar wel prima.

I liked the location, stay and neatness. Breakfast was with likited options but taste is appriciated.

I felt slighly congested. And being hostel, i was expecting some boredom games or like activities to happen but there was nothing much.

Lovely staff who welcomed us and helped us even when we arrived very late at night. Good breakfast which is included in the room price.

Not clean at all, no curtains on beds, only one bathroom for an entire floor (multiple rooms) of dorms

Bathrooms could use more privacy. They once cleaned all bathroom facilities at once so there no access to go to the bathroom for 30 minutes. A big deal if your friend is waiting for you.

Amazing staff and location

Very good location. Staff are all attentive. The room is spacious with the locker. Value for money. Tours are also available at the reception.

When the upper bed is occupied, the lower bed becomes shaky when the person goes up and down to her bed.
