Ich bin mittlerweile zum zweiten Mal in dieser Unterkunft und bin nach wie vor sehr positiv überrascht. Dolphin ist tatsächlich meine erste Hostel-Erfahrung – und ich hätte es mir ehrlich gesagt nicht besser vorstellen können. Das gesamte Team und auch der Manager sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man merkt, dass hier vieles sehr gut organisiert und durchdacht ist. Auch bei der Sauberkeit wird auf viele Details geachtet und regelmäßig gereinigt. Es gibt ausreichend Duschen und Toiletten, sodass man nie warten muss. Shampoo kann man sich täglich kostenlos an der Rezeption holen. Insgesamt ist alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Im Hostel gibt es mehrere Bereiche, in denen man sich aufhalten oder auch problemlos arbeiten kann. Das WLAN ist schnell und zuverlässig. Die Betten sind mit blickdichten Vorhängen ausgestattet, wodurch man trotz Mehrbettzimmer viel Privatsphäre hat. Unter jedem Bett befindet sich außerdem ein eigener Locker zur Aufbewahrung der Sachen. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet hat mir gut gefallen und bietet eine gute Auswahl. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist meiner Meinung nach wirklich TOP. Beim Check-in werden 100.000 VND als Deposit für Handtuch, Hängeschloss und Keycard hinterlegt. Die Lage ist ebenfalls super: Die Unterkunft liegt nur wenige Schritte von der Altstadt entfernt, sodass man vieles bequem zu Fuß erreichen kann. Ich würde hier jederzeit wieder buchen und kann die Unterkunft definitiv weiterempfehlen.

Friendly staff Activities every day

It was better than we imagined ! The beds are comfy, you have everything you need, storage for your stuff. The bathrooms are clean and nice ! The hostel is cleaned multiple times daily, the staff is so nice and helpful ! There's a bar restaurant if you need, the vibe is very festive, perfect to meet people, and the location is perfect ! They offer a lot of services too (bike rental, tours...)

Nothing, but at night it gets festive so be aware if that's not what you want

Free pool table, free breakfast, outdoor swimming pool and bar hangout area, indoor chillout area and restaurant. The location was great on the island and about a five minute walk to the centre of old town. The place was super clean. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier. And there were daily activities. I really enjoyed staying here! I can’t believe how cheap it is.

Super clean, social and well located. The beds were comfortable. There were plenty of showers and toilets available. Staff super friendly. The activities they organized were good,free water,free breakfast,super big swimming pool . I would do it again without hesitation.

Excellent breakfast — probably the best I had in Southeast Asia — great staff, and very good organization overall. It is also worth mentioning that this is a very social hostel, mostly filled with young people, which can be a great choice for those looking to meet new people and enjoy a lively atmosphere.

I consider it a major downside that by the afternoon there was no soap available in the bathroom, meaning that people leaving the toilets had nothing to wash their hands with. In my opinion, this is a significant hygiene issue. Also, because it is mainly a social hostel with a young crowd, it may not be the ideal choice for everyone, especially those looking for a quieter atmosphere.

Hostel làm rất chuyên nghiệp. Phòng dorm chia khu nam nữ, có nội quy rõ ràng, có khoá thẻ từ. Vệ sinh chung sạch sẽ. Khu vệ sinh và tắm tách riêng, có nhiều buồng, không lo hết chỗ. Có bể bơi. Có bữa sáng dạng buffet với các món cơ bản như cơm rang, mì xào, bánh mì nướng. Không gian chung có nhiều thứ chơi và nhiều hoạt động.

Buồng vệ sinh và tắm hơi nhỏ, mình thi thoảng bị đập vào cửa kéo giật mình. Ngoài ra không có điểm nào tệ. Mình không thực sự thích không khí nhộn nhịp tại đây.

Personal ist sehr nett. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, man Sicht auch ständig Personal rumlaufen, die sich um alles kümmern. Frühstück ist einfach aber wirklich lecker. Für den Preis ist alles gut Die Vorhänge, waren etwas zu kurz, weshalb es nicht ganz Blickdicht war/ist.und es fehlt quasi ein Vorhang, da die Betten aneinander stehen, und es quasi nur an einem Bett einen Trennvorhang gibt. Ich würde die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder Buchen.

35 000VND für eine große Flasche Wasser. Normalerpreis im Supermarkt kostet ca 10-12 000VND

The rooms were very hot during the day with so many people. A few things were broken throughout the facilities.

فريق العمل لا يبتسم أبدا ولا يرحب بك عند الوصول .. ويقابلك بملابسه السوداء .. أحسست انى فى سجن .... من الواضح أنهم يعانون من مشاكل داخلية ... وسوء إدارة .... طلبت من أحدهم القليل من الماء الساخن لشرب الاعشاب الخاصة بى .. اعطانى كمية قليلة جدا ... وكان متضايق جدا من طلبى هذا .... فضلا عن أن اجواءه وصخب سهراته لا يتناسب مطلقا مع عادات وتقاليد الشعب الفيتنامى المحترم ... والاكثر من ذلك أن من يشرح قواعد الهوستيل عند الوصول شخص غير فيتنامى ... هو وحده من يضحك على النكات التى يقولها 😌

The location, the activities, the breakfast, the personal, the installation... everything was great. I really really recommend this place!

I was in the top bunk bed and it was really high... also, I didn't have one of the curtains.

The staff here are amazing. Really nice to stay in a hostel that is Vietnamese owned. There are lots of showers and lots of toilets so I never had to wait once for the bathroom which was absolutely fantastic. Bar and pool table downstairs is a lot of fun and makes it very easy to meet people. Location is amazing and having a pool is so good.

The mattress is not very comfy. Felt like I was sleeping on cardboard.

Close to the city center. Bathrooms and Showers were pretty clean

Bedroom floor was disgusting. No one came to clean the floor in the 2 days we were there…

Er waren veel activiteiten of tours waar je je voor aan kon melden. Alle nodige faciliteiten waren aanwezig. Hele fijne kamergenoten gehad. Ook de ligging was heel centraal, maar geen geluidsoverlast!

Schoenen moesten op de gang en ook natte kleren mochten niet naar binnen. Waar laat je het dan?

Die Unterkunft war riesig!!! Wenn man das mag dann ist das natürlich okay aber es war fast schon wie in so einer Massenabfertigung oder so

The facilities are great…the building is modern, the pool, social areas, and bathrooms are all well maintained. It’s a very social hostel with plenty of activities to keep you entertained. I especially enjoyed the pub crawl. The best part of all, though, is definitely the volunteers. Huge shout-out to Juju, Jack, and Jeff! They create such a fun and welcoming atmosphere that they really make you love staying at this hostel.

Unfortunately, I had an issue with bed bugs and ended up having a terrible night’s sleep. Thankfully, I documented everything with photos and videos as it was happening. Once I reported it, the hostel handled the situation professionally by washing all of my belongings and moving me to a different room. While it was an unpleasant experience, I appreciate that they took responsibility and resolved it quickly

A solid option for Hoi An. Pool and large common areas are the biggest draw. - Dorm was super comfortable with the fan and curtains. AC is 8pm-11am in the summer, which was sufficient. Guests were almost all Europeans and Americans and very considerate. Shockingly good sound insulation. All the dorms are divided by gender, first I've seen outside of China. Sufficient showers and toilets BUT there is no soap in the showers, so people always steal the soap from the sinks - resulting in no soap to clean your hands. - Wi-Fi was generally good, but the router in the dorms got overloaded sometimes. Common area area wifi was fine - Location is near the bar street and night market. Easy access to the old town. The more interesting restaurant scene north of the old town is a bit of a hike. - Tons of great common areas, including a few hidden ones which are extra peaceful. The pool is really nice and has eight loungers, more crowded in the afternoons. - Crowd had party backpackers but also couples in their 30s discussing fine linen. Didn't feel pressure to party if you didn't want to. They do a bar crawl incl dinner and 4 shots 3x/week for 250k; seemed mostly a 22 and younger crowd. - I rented a bike for 24 hrs (50k), good enough basic bike though the brakes were weak. You really don't need a bike unless you want to go through the rice fields. - Breakfast isn't great, just rice, noodles, bread and greenish scrambled eggs. If you're not on a budget plan to eat out. - Drinking water available via a dispenser in the restaurant. They only ran out once while I was there, not as bad as past reviewers mentioned. - Check in/ out was pretty hectic, allow extra time. Really long sales pitch at check-in

Location is great, right on the waterfront, close enough to the hub but far enough away that you get a peaceful night sleep. Friendly and helpful staff, free breakfast is a plus.

Bathrooms were so hot, I’ve never had a shower then was instantly sweaty again and felt like I needed another shower. AC is not great and the rooms are quite warm. Each bed has its own fan but they are noisy.

Al ser un hostel grande es impersonal. Personalmente me gustan más familiares. Todo muy pensado en el turismo de allí.

Ein workloch hervorragend geführtes Hostel. Sauber, freundliches Personal, optimale Lage, direkt am Fluss, .itten im Geschehen.

I really enjoyed my stay. The hostel is very well located, beautifully decorated, clean, and has a great common area and a nice swimming pool.

The only downside is that they don't provide free drinking water, which is something I've found at almost every other hostel. Also, the prices for drinks and other items are extremely high. More like resort prices than hostel prices.

Super, comfortable and well equipped hostel. Bed was very comfy - great sleep! Light, fan and shelf beside bed, locker under bed was huge, location perfect, food and drink good, pool very welcome after a long day of walking or travelling. Lots of activities on offer and tours can be organised through hostel, including airport transport (pay extra obvs).

Just a couple of small things...Lack of soap in toilets and showers - i assume trying to save on plastic usage as a bar of soap was there at start of day. Not a big deal to bring own shower gel, i was just surprised as everywhere else i've stayed has had soap/gel. Pub quiz on Kahoot meant it was done individually, as a solo traveller, a traditional style quiz is a way to chat to people if you're not a big drinker.

Il y a un problème d’eau dans les douches, elle est hyper chaude et si elle refroidit le débit est très lent.

Everything, staff amazing, manager Adam super friendly and uber professional, this is one of the best hostels I've stayed in, bar area is exceptional and perfect for socializing. The large rooms are absolutely massive and nicer than a lot of hotels. I can't recommend this place enough.

As in vietnam, rock solid mattress.

Я думал, что, после Лаоса, в Вьетнаме простые и скучные хостелы. Я их десятки видел. И был приятно удивлен. Тут реально всё очень хорошо и по уму. Чисто, красиво, уютно, свежо. Завтрак тоже зачёт, учитывая что входит в стоимость жилья. Реально лучший хостел, что видел в Вьетнаме.

Район как +, так и минус. Да, там классно, но ближайший нормальный магазин, Винмарт, минут в 10 пешком. В самом месте бар весьма дорог. Но ок, есть бесплатная вода, а за пивом можно и прогуляться)) Лучший бань ми в городе, Сайгон бань ми, тоже считай через дорогу.

Can't rate this hostel enough. Staff are fabulous, well run establishment with great amenities. Hotel feel albeit a hostel....just WOW

Très grosse auberge de jeunesse. Malgré la taille, les chambres sont bien isolées. Très bien si on souhaite profiter de la piscine. Emplacement parfait par rapport au centre. Très bon petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet (donc attention à ne pas y aller trop tard, il ne reste pas grand à la fin...). Propose une location de vélo pour 24h à 50 000 dongs (par contre attention, les freins ne sont pas très efficacent et pour certains, la selle ne se règle pas...). Globalement, hébergement qui correspond bien à son prix.

Très grosse auberge de jeunesse, donc problème au niveau de la propreté des parties communes (notamment des toilettes, cafards possible).
