Skrzypiąca szafa w nocy podczas wstawania to chyba jedyne do czego mogę się przyczepić. Lokalizacja jest trochę oddalona od Ubud, ale za to jest świetna baza wypadowa do innych atrakcji

L'hôtel est magnifique, 3 villas dans un décor de jungle avec une piscine donnant sur les rizières. La chambre est superbe, la salle de bain pareille, il ne manque rien. C'est géré par une famille qui tienne très bien, sont très gentils, et arrangeants ! On y retournera sans aucun doute.

La localisation peut être un poil problématique car loin de tout, mais c'est quelque chose qu'on sait à l'avance donc on ne peut pas se plaindre. Haa et le petit déjeuner, un peu léger si on aime bien manger le matin :)

La villa estaba muy bien, muy cómoda y buen decorada. El desayuno era contundente, buena calidad y buena cantidad. La familia que regentaba el alojamiento genial. La piscina tiene unas vistas a los arrozales preciosas. Está muy bien situado para visitar Tirta Empul a primera hora y hacer el ritual antes de que llegue mucha gente, solo se tarde 10 mins en coche.

I thought I booked a village in the middle of nowhere, but it turns out there are many restaurants/cafes nearby. I stayed here to be more central to activities. This is a small 3 villa family business. Thanks to Wayan for the chats, Made for the delicious nasi goreng and Andre for picking me up from a nearby cafe when it was dark. Breakfast was assorted and generous. I told Wayan about delicious frozen lime mints I've been drinking, he said he's a bartender and offered to make one for me if I brought the ingredients! Unfortunately I didn't have time to do so. The family has a few cats and they are adorable and very food motivated 🐱

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ After four nights at Bananas Kumbe Villas, we honestly find it difficult to put our experience into words. The accommodation itself is beautiful. It is located just outside of Ubud, surrounded by rice fields, palm trees, and nature. Anyone looking to experience the authentic side of Bali and wake up to lush green views will love this place. The entire property was spotless throughout our stay, the bed was very comfortable, and the villa was thoughtfully designed. We especially loved the bathroom with its traditional stone and wood design. What truly makes this place special, however, are the people behind it. Wayan, Made, and Andra made our stay something we will never forget. From the very first moment, we did not feel like guests but rather like friends who were genuinely welcome. Whether it was recommendations for restaurants, local warungs, day trips, or general questions about life in Bali, they were always there for us and took so much time to help. They even offered to drive us somewhere whenever needed if we had asked, which perfectly reflects their generosity and willingness to help. We were especially impressed by the attention to the little things. Even after a long day, Wayan remembered that we had talked about coconuts earlier and surprised us by bringing us a coconut in the evening. Moments like this cannot be booked or paid for. They simply show how much heart and care go into running this place. Also the breakfast was excellent. We tried every option, but the Indonesian breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Every morning it was accompanied by fresh fruit, coffee, tea, and juice. For around €144 for four nights, we experienced accommodation that exceeded our expectations in every way. The value for money is exceptional. If you are traveling to Bali and are looking not just for a place to stay but for a genuine Balinese experience, this is the perfect choice. Thank you, Wayan, Made, and Andra. You made our stay in Ubud truly special.

Super gepflegte Anlage, welche von einer herzlichen und zuvorkommenden Familie geführt wird. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig, vielfältig und lecker. Es gibt einen Rollerverleih (75.000IDR/Tag). Die Hütte war makellos, das Bett ist bequem, es gab einen Kühlschrank und die Möglichkeit, Tee und Kaffee zuzubereiten. Für unsere Zwecke war die Lage optimal. Man konnte alle Richtungen (Mount Batur, Bangli, Ubud, etc.) in max. 40 Minuten mit dem Roller erreichen. Es gibt fußläufig ein paar leckere Restaurants, einen kleinen Supermarkt und einen Wäscheservice. Das Wohlbefinden der Gäste steht bei der Familie an erster Stelle. Man fühlt sich wie Zuhause 😇 Danke Made, Wayan und Andra 🙏🏼

Super schöne grosse Unterkunft mit sehr freundlichen, herzlichen Besitzern. Sieht wirklich so aus wie auf den Bildern und ist eine kleine Private Anlange. Super Lage um mal in Ruhe am Pool zu relaxen und gleichzeitig zb. zum Tempel, Ubud oder den Reisterassen zu kommen. Absolute Weiterempfehlung.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in ruhiger Umgebung. Die Lage in den Reisfeldern ist sehr idyllisch, es gibt dennoch mehrere Restaurants, die fussläufig zu erreichen sind. Sauberkeit und Service waren super. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und immer darauf bedacht alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Nach Ubud fährt man mit dem Roller knapp 30min.

Wszystko było absolutnie idealne. Baza wypadowa na okoliczne wodospady, do świątyń, na miejskie targowisko. Blisko bardzo dobre jedzenie (np Somi Bali), do centrum piechotą kawałeczek. Można wypożyczyć skuter (bardzo dobrej jakości, z kaskami). Made i Andra rewelacyjni, kontaktowi. Basen dostępny całą dobę, czysty i przyjemny. Śniadania przepyszne - od nasi i mie goreng po omlety, kawa bardzo dobra.

Wir wollten einen Ort abseits des touristischen Trubels finden – und haben in Banana’s Villa unser kleines Paradies entdeckt. Unsere Erwartungen wurden weit übertroffen! Die Anlage besteht aus drei traumhaften Villen, so geschickt gebaut, dass man absolute Privatsphäre genießt. Unser Zimmer war wunderschön eingerichtet, das Bett äußerst komfortabel und die Bettwäsche makellos. Das Badezimmer im balinesischen Stil mit Badewanne und Dusche übertraf sogar viele 5‑Sterne-Hotels auf Bali. Besonders begeistert hat uns der gemeinsame Aufenthaltsbereich mit Küche, Garten, Pool und Liegen – perfekt vorbereitet, auch wenn man einmal in Ruhe am Laptop arbeiten möchte. Wir fühlten uns sofort wie zu Hause: Die Besitzerin und ihr Sohn waren jederzeit herzlich, hilfsbereit und gaben uns wertvolle Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt. Das Frühstück war ein echtes Highlight – abwechslungsreich, frisch und köstlich. Selbst eine spezielle Zubereitung für meine gesundheitlichen Bedürfnisse war problemlos möglich. Dafür ein großes Dankeschön! Wir hoffen sehr, dass bei unserem nächsten Besuch wieder ein Häuschen frei ist. Vielen Dank für eine unvergessliche Woche – wir kommen garantiert wieder!

Ubytování se nachází na krásném a klidném místě, je čisté a prostorné. Do centra Ubudu je to přibližně 20 minut jízdy na skútru. Personál je vynikající, velmi ochotný a mimořádně milý. 🙏 Před ubytováním a všude okolo něj jsou nádherné rýžové pole a palmy 🌴

I'm writing this review after spending 8 weeks here. I came first just for a few days and I loved it so much that I decided to keep it for the rest of my stay in Bali. There are only 3 villas, which makes it a very peaceful accommodation, perfect for couples or individuals who are seeking place and retreat. I was working online and I loved that I could just work in peaceful quietness from the breakfast area, overlooking the swimming pool, the rice terraces and the jungle in the background. The villas are exactly as shown in the pictures, well equipped with AC, small fridge, wooden furniture and very cozy. My mattress was extremely comfortable and I loved the rustic touch in the bathrooms. They put a lot of attention in every detail and built a beautiful and comfortable place. It's one of the best accommodations I've been to while in Bali. I used to go to a local gym just 10 mins by scooter, had dinner many times in Somi, just 3 mins walk; and there are mostly locals around. 30 mins drive from Ubud, not too far from the busy city life. The accommodation is run by a family: Wayan, Made and Andra; and they are super professional and very loving. They were very attentive to me checking all the time if I needed anything, they took care of every unexpected event and made sure everything worked perfectly. I felt taken care of and like part of the family. God bless them. I will definitely come back when I come back to Ubud.

De hosts staan altijd voor je klaar. Er zitten een aantal restaurants in de buurt die ook boven verwachting waren. Wat een prachtig gebied en zo rustgevend! Alles wat je nodig hebt is er te vinden.

Почему то мало кто об этом пишет, бронировали на 2 дня и каждый день просыпались не потому что мы так хотели а потому что кто-то очень громкого выезжал с соседнего номера, хозяин приветливый но и громкий в тоже время, на второй день нас разбудил газонокосильщик травы в 08:30, почему нельзя было заниматься благоустройством хотя бы после завтрака - я этого не понимаю, видно что люди отдыхают с закрытыми шторами с утра а он прямо перед виллой косит траву. Еще минус в том что если один человек просыпается то скорее всего вы разбудите второго, когда я проходил к туалету по деревянному полу который скрипит и прогибается в тоже время двигается шкаф и холодильник, ходит ходуном. Почти целый день из двух дней нашего проживания не работал интернет Слышно шум от дороги

Die Familie, welche die kleine Villa mit nur 3 Bungalows betreibt, war außerordentlich freundlich und liebenswert. Wir wurden vom Sohn der Familie trotz verkehrsbedingter Verspätung von mehr als 1h unfassbar herzlich empfangen. Wir konnten direkt an der Unterkunft einen Roller mieten (pro Tag ca. 5€) und eine von beiden Frühstücksoptionen wählen. Auch die Frühstückszeit kann man selbst wählen. Das Frühstück wird jeden Tag frisch zubereitet und im Garten neben dem Pool serviert - die Kulisse ist also traumhaft. In der Unterkunft gibt es einen Trinkwasserspender, weswegen man nicht literweise Mineralwasser im Supermarkt kaufen muss. Für den Pool, welchen man Tag und Nacht nutzen kann, bekommt man eigene Badetücher vom Hotel. Die Lage des Hotels ist herrlich ruhig und dennoch kann man vor allem mit dem Roller gut auf Entdeckungstour gehen (Reisterrassen, div. Tempel, Wasserfälle). In der Nähe gibt es fußläufig dennoch einige Restaurants oder Cafés.

Bei der abgeschiedene Lage muss man sich bewusst sein, dass es nachts durch viele Tiere und Insekten laut sein kann. Ohrstöpsel haben mir persönlich sehr gut geholfen, meinen Freund hat es nicht einmal gestört :-)

Bellissima struttura in mezzo alla natura, pulita e ben curata. Il punto di forza è sicuramente la famiglia che la gestisce, sono stati tutti gentilissimi e disponibili. Indimenticabili i loro pancakes!

Owners of the villa were very nice, breakfast was always fresh and good. Property is on a nice quiet location with beautiful rice fields surrounding it. Few good restaurants are also close by (walkable distance). You can also rent a scooter directly at the villa.

Excellent family staff and lovely facilities right Next to the rice paddies

The villas are superclean and the staff is very friendly. These are real villas: good beds, super bathroom and a nice pool to relax and end the day with.

The staff were amazing here. It belongs to a family. They went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and took care of my husband when he was unwell. We rented the scooter from them.The breakfast was delicious. The cabin was very comfortable. Couldn't recommend it enough.

There was some mold in the room due to the humidity.

This accommodation is amazing. A peaceful setting in the heart of the rice fields. The owners took wonderful care of us. They arranged in-room massages and even prepared breakfast early for us before our early trips. The accommodation was clean and always well-kept. There is also the option to rent a scooter. Many well-known places are nearby, such as rice terraces, coffee plantations, and waterfalls. I wish you many happy customers. Best regards.

If you are looking for the real Bali experience then this is the place to go! The host Wayan and his son are amazing, They are extremely kind and helpfull. The villa's are traditionally build with all the comfort one needs. Situated in the middle of the rice fields with beautiful views, this place is a real hidden gem. By far the best place I've stayed during my one month trip on Bali

Wayan was an incredible host! He was always available. He had motorbikes for his guests to use. He connected us with an amazing tour guide. Anything that we wanted, he was willing to help. I have not met a better host that is so gracious and elegant. keep speaks impeccable english. His villas are stunning and peaceful. Are a great retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud, but a quick short ride if you want to visit Ubud. I would highly recommend bananas resort if you are ever in Bali.

I had an amazing stay at The Banana’s Kumbe! From the moment I arrived, Andra and his mother welcomed me with such warmth and hospitality, making me feel right at home. Everything was impeccably taken care of – from the cozy, clean rooms to the stunning surroundings. The location is absolutely breathtaking, with a mesmerizing view over the rice fields and a beautiful swimming pool to relax in. Every morning, a fresh and delicious breakfast was prepared just for me, which was the perfect way to start the day. They also offer scooter rentals, making it easy to explore the area. It was a pleasure talking to Andra about local traditions and learning more about Balinese culture. There are three restaurants within walking distance, including Somi, a lovely spot nestled between the rice fields. All in all, The Banana’s Kumbe is a true hidden gem and an absolute must-stay! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic Bali experience.

This was the perfect villa for a serene, off the beaten path, stay, in the surrounds of Ubud, with peaceful open space around. Wayan's family treated us with such generosity and kindness, helping us get dinner when the restaurants had closed, making sure we were safe and had all we needed. The breakfast was delicious. And the Villa itself, absolutely beautifully designed. So relaxing and good energy. Thank you!

A magical oasis away from the hustle of bigger places like Kuta, Ubud etc. Banyu, Mada, Andre and his family are amazing and do all they can to help and facilitate an incredible holiday. The accommodation is superb, very comfortable beds, amazing breakfast, and a pool that feels private due to small number of villas. Attention to detail is out of this world, with beautiful wood carved furnishings, traditional statues etc. A bit of a drive from the central locations, but so worth it, and lovely to come back to Banana Kumbe after the hectic chaos that is Kuta, Ubud, etc. Some lovely local eateries and an experience of the real Bali, which is what we wanted. Massive shout out to MiMi and her family for keeping us company and helping us not to miss our own fur babies. Also, big shout out to Mada for teaching her son to make the best breakfast EVER!! Miss you guys already. I would recommend these villas to anyone and thinking of coming back in May That good! We will see you guys soon Banyu!!

This was the most welcoming place we've been in Bali. This hotel is run by a family, and they were all super friendly and helpful since the beginning. The hotel itself is gorgeous, the room was beautiful, clean and spacious. The bathroom was beautiful with everything one could need. The swimming pool overlooking the rice field is amazing, and it gives a super chill and relaxed vibe. Breakfast was also great. I can't recommend this place enough! Hope to see you in Portugal! :)

Lovely family run villas. They were very welcoming and caring and made you feel at home from the moment you arrived. The villas themselves are gorgeous, and the style of the bedroom and bathroom captured the essence of Bali. You really must see for yourself! It's such a relaxing and peaceful location away from the main roads, yet very close to great low cost, local restaurants that cater to all tastes. Our experience with eating around Bali elsewhere in local restaurants, we found that the closest restaurant to the villas much better value for money and just nicer food in general. The bed was very comfortable and roomy, with bed linen, pilliws and kimonos of a 5 star standard. The pool area and pool itself were set up in a tranquil location overlooking a rice paddy. You could easily spend all day comfortably lounging and taking a dip when the mood strikes. Towels for the pool were provided and there was cold filtered water always available near pool. Every evening we were treated to the sight of fireflies dancing around the rice fields which was an unexpected delight. Breakfast was delicious each morning and served at a time of your convenience near the pool. It was prepared to your taste with freshly made juices that were very refreshing. Banyu and his family always went the extra mile each and every day to ensure we were comfortable and happy. We always felt like very welcome guests. They even helped us find nearby wildlife so we were able to see the beautiful variety of butterflies and local plants. Everybody in the area outside of the villas were all very friendly and made us feel safe and welcome as tourists. They also connected us with local tour companies to make sure we got the best possible and best priced tour experiences on the island. They shared local recipes with us so that we can continue to enjoy food on the Balinese style once home.

The place was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful rice terraces surouding the villa. So quiet you can definitely have a good rest here. Beds and bathrooms are amazing Breakfast is good and more generous than other accomadations we had.

Great quiet place. Great view of rice fields, very authentic. Delicious breakfast. Very cozy and modern villas. And very hospitable staff. The place was really clean. Bath is great, and you can fill it in with warm water without any problem.

This a family owned and run accommodation. We had an amazing time here. The host were great and very helpful with everything. You can rent a scooter for a very good price. The scooter is well maintained and it was 150cc so more powerful than more common 125cc. We rode it everywhere with 2 people without any issues. The room is very spacious, very well furnished and in a very good condition as the property was built quite recently. The bathroom was huge and had all facilities including a bathtub. The view from the swimming pool and different sides of the property was great too. On one side rice fields with natural views. Swimming pool is relatively small, but considering that there are only 3 accommodations we always found it empty so we felt like it's our private space. The breakfast was great and large compared to the average. The location was great for us. Very close to 3 best temples, various waterfalls, rice terraces and coffee plantations if you want a coffee experience. The furtherst we had to ride was 15 minutes away. You could ride to Ubud town if you want but we did not as we spent there one night. There are 3 good restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance. Overall we were very satisfied with everything and we would love to stay there again If we come back to Bali. We found it very good value for money as you get A LOT for the price.

Our experience at the venue was exceptional from the moment we arrived, greeted warmly by our hosts Andre and Made. Throughout our five-day stay, they exhibited genuine hospitality, offering friendly assistance with tour information and even arranging a knowledgeable guide for our Mount Batur expedition and other scenic outings. Their superb communication and sincere support convinced us to extend our stay by an additional two days. The villa itself was outstanding, complemented by delicious breakfasts, a refreshing pool, and breathtaking views. Overall, our time here was nothing short of superb.

Nice facilities, small guest house with only 4 rooms Very good quality for money

The cabin was sweet, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was big, the staff were really helpful and even though we booked and checked in late they were there and sorted everything out for us. The pool area/restaurant looking out over the paddy fields was also very nice.

The room was a little damp, however we did book late so they didn’t have the opportunity to air it out and with the humidity in Bali it is very common.

The decoration and the comfort of the bungalow - the small swimmingpool with nice view on the ricefields - the possibility of renting scooters at a very reasonable price

- the noise of the party organized by some of the staff for their friends on the first evening -the sarcastic laughter when I politely asked at midnight if it was possible to turn down the volume - the failure to take this request into account and the noise pollution which continued until a lucky rain finally put an end to it - the surroundings are not very clean (unlike the establishment, impeccable)

This was with no doubt our best stay on our south east asia trip. We really loved everything with this staying and can’t wait to go back here in the future. 🫶🏼 Andra helped us so much with everything that we needed and made our stay so comfortable. 🙏🏼 Can’t recommend this enough!!

We had a wonderful time at Banana's Kumbe Villa. The room was excellent and extremely comfortable, the hosts were beyond friendly and hospitable and such great value for money! I would highly recommend this wonderful accommodation and I look forward to our next return!

Amazing wifi. Divine bathroom. Lovely breakfast. The king bed with lush white sheets and plenty of comfortable pillows feels luxurious and grand. The balcony was so lovely to spend the mornings amidst the greenery. Weaving through the rice fields to get here felt like I’d made all the right decisions. The sun blocking curtains give you an option for a deep dark sleep, and the sheer white curtains give you an opportunity to let the light in and enjoy the plants for an afternoon nap. All the attention to detail speaks volumes. The owners are a family and they really genuinely want you to feel at home. It comes through in everything they do. Their hearts are open. They have been the highlight of my trip and many trips. I can’t wait to come back when they have finished the pool and the bar. There are 3 restaurants within walking distance although i prefer to ride the bike because it’s dark. They have very good quality scooters to hire at very good prices. They take care of everything. They are wonderful people and their vision is a manifestation of that. Thank you for welcoming me, I will always return!

Amazing apartment’s in Ubud. Locates in village, just 100m away locates wonderful restaurant with pool. Owner of this villa very kind and hospitable. Always waiting you when you are away and meet you with sincere smile, provide smoothly, coffee and fruits. Villa looks on Indonesian style , bathroom is amazing. The place is conductive to a pleasant stay. Recommend it.

Beautiful place to stay. The greenish made my stay very relaxing. Friendly owner (Andra and his father) Very clean, both the bedroom and bathroom. Complete bathroom amenities, they even provided extra hand towels and bathmat towels. It's clear they put cleanliness as priority. The wooden house and bathroom also very spacious with good ventilation. It has big bathtub as well. Good wifi connection. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Small fridge would be nice. I stayed for 1 night only, so it wasn't a big problem. The water heater in bathroom took some time to get heated and didn't last long.

I loved everything!! Bed and pillows are super comfortable, i didn't want to leave the room. Very spacious, a very well designed villa. Service is top notch! Andra and Wayan are wonderful hosts, very friendly and hospitable. Highly recommend!!! Thank you for the wonderful stay, we will be back for sure!!

We cannot recommend the accommodation enough. The owner Banyu and his family went above and beyond to help us during our stay there - they were very kind, generous and helpful. They helped us with laundry, booking transport (he will even drop you to the airport if you require), food, etc. The accommodation itself is very clean and spacious - in the middle of very scenic rice fields. It is a bit further from ubud but easy enough to get grab or Gojek into the centre. And a very nice quiet change from the business of the city centre.

The Host were exceptional!

This was our 4th place in Bali. It is definitely the best place to stay for holidays. Family who owns it are super friendly, rooms are quiet new and super clean. We enjoyed everything there, from food to location and services. If you are thinking about this place, I recommend it for 100%.

Loved everything.

We had a wonderful stay at The Banana’s Kumbe Villa, surrounded by rice paddies in a peaceful rural location. Our Villa was beautifully furnished, with a large and luxurious bathroom, and a comfortable bed. Our hosts could not have been more friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious, and included eggs, bacon, pastries, fruit and freshly squeezed juices. Highly recommended for excellent value and a more authentic Balinese experience than found in the larger cities.

Its a really private bungalow in the middle of ricefields. Great for leisure, and to just deconnected. The location is superb. Andra and his mom are amazing. They made us fresh juice every morning. They will make sure that you have the best stays ever. Mopads are available at the property and you have restaurants around. We will definitely coming back to this villa again!

This place is amazing. Probably the best place I stayed in Bali. The room and bathroom are really nice, and the surroundings are really pretty. Also, the staff are so welcoming and go above and beyond to make sure you have a nice stay. I was unwell with a cold and they continued to bring me fresh tissues and ginger tea which was so nice of them. Would 100% recommend.

A fairly new place that's open to visitors. Was a gamble in booking my stay here but it was well worth it. The place was very comfortable and the host has been very warm and welcoming. Totally awesome experience being surrounded in lush greeneries and away from the hustle and bustle of crowd. Even had a good time learning about Bali culture from the owner. Totally recommended place to stay if you want to be away from the usual busy areas.

Access could be a bit challenging but renting a scooter to get around is the best mode of transportation.

Authentic, cozy, peaceful and clean ! The staff is always making sure that you get everything you need and always ready to help and guide to the local hotspots, this goes without mentioning their heartfelt kindness. Planning to go back for sure!

Probably the best host throughout our entire 2 month trip in Indonesia. Perfect breakfast, helpful with everything, motorbike was ready as soon as we came, each morning had different flavor of juice - which were perfect always. With local advises and trip advises host was always honest. We felt like in 5+ star hotel regarding the service. Host even brought us to next location. The villa itself was super cozy, clean, very unique, you feel that you are in Bali. It's even better than in pictures. Best part that everything you have to visit in the middle of Bali is super close. no further than 45 minutes.

Can't tell a thing, everything was 10/10
