Ze hadden een haan die elke ochtend om 4:00 uur ons wakker maakte en we konden niet slapen. Hygiënisch was slecht en veel meren.

Great location. Unreal staff. Out of the hustle and bustle of Ubud . Awesome bungalows.

We thought we had upstairs neighbors, but they turned out to be rats. But it was expectable next to a river.

Beautiful place right on the river with beautiful people. Hosts are so welcoming and for the exceptional price the Bamboo Villas were great! You can even Tube the rapids right from your doorstep.

Les cabanes sont au bord de la rivière au cœur de la nature.

On avait réservé et payé depuis 3 mois et quand on est arrivé ils avaient fait du surbooking et donc notre 2eme cabane était une ancienne réserve minuscule, sans fenêtre, sans aération et très sale. Résultat nous sommes partis au bout d'une nuit car les conditions de logement n'étaient pas acceptables.

Super fun location right on the river, the river is fantastic and great fun tubing, very easy rapids. The guides are great, very safe and professional. No mosquitoes or flying insects at all, which was a pleasant surprise

Petites maisons en bois situées juste à côté de la rivière et en face de la jungle. L'emplacement est vraiment atypique.

Les propriétaires possèdent des petits chiens qui nous ont souvent réveillés la nuit car ils aboyaient. Pour deux nuits, j'ai été réveillée 4-5 fois. Dans le descriptif, c'était écrit qu'on pouvait utiliser une petite piscine, mais il n'y avait pas d'eau. Pour le petit déjeuner, on avait passé la commande le soir précédent et on leur avait donné un horaire pour qu'on puisse rentrer dans les temps pour nos visites de la journée. Résultat: on se réveille et il n'y a personne. On est enfin servis 30 minutes plus tards. Pour rejoindre l'hôtel, il faut descendre beaucoup de marches et avec des valises lourdes c'est vraiment compliqué, surtout lors du départ lorsqu'il faut tout remonter.

Het personeel was heel lief en deed alles om ons verblijf prettig te maken.

Er was een groep honden op de accomodatie, zes stuks, die zich als een roedel gedroegen en vooral snachts heel actief waren. Ze blaften en vochten en verspreidden afval uit vuilnisbakken. Ze waren compleet out of control en hielden ons uit onze slaap.

Położenie rewelacja, tylko trzeba pamiętać że to dżungla 😉 bardzo miła Pani właścicielka. Pomocny personel. Dobre jedzenie. Polecam dla fanu na 1-2 noce.

Het uitzicht is fantastisch

Alles in het huis voelt klam aan jemoet jekoffer dicht houde. Vanwege de luchtvochtigheid er is geen tafel met stoeltje om even te zitten. De wc bril was bruin aangeslagen Je hut werd niet opgeruimd je bed werd niet opgemaakt en je had geen schone kopjes voor de volgende dag.

All was great. Top place for relaxing and clearing your mind. Despite the river sound is louder than expected, but was manageable. Staff are very friendly and serve great food. Highly recommended for a retreat!

Location and staff

Wat een prachtige locatie. Weg van het drukke Ubud. De riverside is genieten, de natuur eromheen prachtig, de beek heerlijk om in te spelen en drijven. Tubbing begint voor de deur. De familie nodigde ons uit voor een unieke ceremonie in hun huis. Ontbijt is heerlijk.

Helaas is er in geheel Indonesie veel rommel op straat te zien. Dus ook hier, in de rivier en erlangs. Hopelijk kan men hier in de toekomst iets aan doen.

Famille très gentille et accueillante. Très bonne cuisine à un prix très avantageux. Cadre exceptionnel au bord de la rivière, à l'écart de l'effervescence et de la pollution sonore et olfactive d'Ubud.

Très humide donc rien ne sèche. Difficulté à avoir de l'eau chaude plus d'1 minute par douche.

La struttura rispecchia totalmente le foto e la descrizione, è un piccolo paradiso nella natura. Sono bellissime capanne in riva al fiume, quindi è possibile trovare qualche animaletto in giro, come insetti, topolini e rane, ma in generale non abbiamo mai trovato nulla in camera nonostante le aperture tra tetto e struttura in bamboo. Lo staff è molto cordiale ed accogliente, hanno una cagnolina con 4 cuccioli che tengono compagnia durante la colazione. Ci hanno noleggiato i loro scooter compresi di casco ed abbiamo anche cenato da loro una sera. Dalla strada principale si scende attraverso una scalinata un po' ripida e scovolosa, ma di notte è tutto ben illuminato.

È stato tutto come ce lo aspettavamo, non abbiamo commenti negativi. Purtroppo abbiamo soggiornato qui durante dei giorni di pioggia ed era tutto molto umido, ma ovviamente questo non può dipendere da nessuno.

Siamo arrivati ad Aksha Riverside dopo 3 giorni nella super turistica Ubud, cercavamo un oasi di pace e qui l’abbiamo trovata, tanto che saremmo dovuti stare solo 2 notti e ne abbiamo aggiunte altre 2! Dayu , suo marito e i suoi figli ci hanno accolto a braccia aperte , sempre super disponibili ed è stato un piacere passare le mattinate e serate a parlare con loro, sono una famiglia stupenda. La struttura è semplicemente fantastica con le palafitte che si affacciano sulla foresta e sul fiume ed è magico addormentarsi e svegliarsi poi con il suono della natura che ti coccola! Volendo è possibile fare numerose esperienze come il rafting sul fiume, il rito purificativo Malukat , meditazione con yoga sul fiume oppure una seduta di massaggi rilassanti. Consiglio vivamente questo paradiso incastonato nella natura di Bali! Grazie mille ancora Dayu per le incredibili esperienze che ci hai permesso di vivere, e grazie perché ora abbiamo una Famiglia anche a Bali! Non vediamo l’ora di tornare !! Alessandro e Angelica

The view is absolutely incredible. Gazing out upon the river is magic! Listening to the river as you fall asleep is a dream come true. I can't recommend this place highly enough! The people that own the homestay are very warm and friendly, you can rent a scooter at the homestay and they'll help with any questions that you might have, the food was delicious and super cheap! The location is a little out of the way (I didn't go exploring nearby, so there may be things that I missed), but I think the little longer on the scooter heading in to Ubud is so worth it for the tranquility the room has to offer.

A nature experience it its best. Tip: to get to place you have to get down stairs. If you have a big luggage, they have a pulley from the road.

The location alone is worth the stay, sleeping by a flowing river. I haven’t slept this good in a long time. The family hosts are very kind and helpful, coming here you get a little taste of Bali’s culture. There is no AC in the room, only a fan, but the area is so cool it wasn’t a problem at all: at night I slept comfortably under the blanket .

The shower’s hot water is not constant so you have to play around with it a bit, but it’s a minor inconvenience for me

This is likely to be one of the most unique locations to stay within Bali. You will fall asleep each night to the sounds of the river, and the animals. The Staff are extremely kind and welcoming. Breakfast is traditional and Yummy. Highly recommend you try tubing, you will go right past your accommodation. Bed is comfy but low. For us this place was perfect - But it is not a Hotel, you are glamping! If you want to immerse yourself in nature this is the place to go.

These are things that you should be aware of if booking but not actually things that we were affected by. The location is actually under a nearby bridge (not that you really hear the traffic). You are a little off the beaten track - 10-15 mins to get to a nearby village - 30 mins to Ubud Central (So great if you want to get away from the tourist centres) Access is by stairs only. Insects can access into your room, pack some mozzie spray. Hot water didn't last long, but that might have just been us. Overall though we Loved our stay here

View was amazing. Area was very cool compared to the rest of the places we stayed at. Very peaceful. Birds and sound of the river was so soothing. Cute little Gili (dog) was very friendly too. Staff very nice and accommodating.

The distance from Ubud centre is 30mins without traffic. Note:Steps leading down to accomodation was good exercise for the legs- they've invented a pulley system to carry bags up and down.

Location was stunning. Staff was very nice. Delicious breakfast. The surrounding area was lovely and made the whole experience unique!

Humidity, but it's to be expected considering the location (right on the river). We could use an extra couple of hangers in the room since clothes and towels don't dry fast.

What a gorgeous place. Like in the pics but better. Surrounded by nature. The most gorgeous little house of bamboo with the small river next to us and a gorgeous balcony. I want to stay there again and again and again. The staff is so very nice and accommodating. Loved it very much. Love the sound of the river....perfection

As it's a bamboo house the toilet is not physically a separate room with door. However there is a simple one nearby

Beautiful little place with four bamboo cottages, down in a jungle canyon, right by the river. Mostly quiet, with the rushing sound of the river at all times. Lovely hosts and staff. Tasty food. Good Wi-Fi, measured at 39 Mpbs, a rarity in Bali.

Extremely humid when it rains, especially since the cottages leak in places. Too much light at night. I prefer to sleep in the dark.

The location is beautiful. The staff are very lovely. It was great to be able to get the rafting trip from this location. My little one loved playing in the river and watching the boats pass by too.

On the first night, there was no hot water. They managed to fix this by the second night. The second night, there was no electricity from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m. There is no air conditioning, only a fan, so this meant that night we were super hot. There is no mosquito net over the bed, so no electricity also prevented bug plug-ins from working. It also meant no hot shower in the morning before we left, too. On the second day, the room wasn't cleaned, which meant we had plates and cups from previous evening room service still there. If the shower and electricity had worked, it would have been a better experience, but I would strongly suggest that a mosquito net over the bed be added, as after just two nights I have lots of bites, even after taking lots of precautions.

Staff

The hut was not fully enclosed, and there were openings at both ends of the walls where the roof started. Any animal, like a snake, could easily enter the room. Because of this, my wife and daughter couldn’t sleep the entire night, and it was a horrible experience for us. Although we had booked the place for three nights, we checked out after the first night. We requested a refund for the remaining two nights but were unable to get it.

River next to your balcony and you sleep with a very nice sound of river . Fresh air . And unique experience

Room was not clean enough, floor needs to clean better. And also I would love to have a door to the toilet 😂 and hotel is located right under the bridge , but traffic over there is not big so it did not bother me me

Really nice location just by the river, surrounded by rainforest. Really close to rice terrace's. Our room was clean and really comfy, they provided free ice tea and the staff in General was helpful and caring. (Also not that fluent in English). Definitely recommend it if You like being close to the nature. Also they offer a scooter rental at the Lodge.

Quite a long drive to Ubud, a bridge nearby that you don't see on the Fotos and that made some noise, although still pretty quiet for Bali. The restaurant was cheap but the food was very basic and the portions quite small, I would not recommend having dinner here. Breakfast was fine but nothing more. The rooms haven't aged that well, light wasn't working properly but nothing too bad.

Everything was great ! Beautiful little bungalows, located near the river, the sound of water was calming to me... The bungalow was very confortable, we were pleasantly surprised, it was even better than expected. Really nice people also, helpful, smiling and good cooking (mom and daughters as well). I just sat there, read a book, ate well, listen to nature, and that felt so nice ! I haven't had the possibility to do that for so long.. thanks to the team for everything, we would have stayed longer if we didn't have other plans already. Keep up the great work!

Superb location. Very zen and idealic. The sound of the river as you fall asleep is beautiful. The family that run it are lovely and did their absolute best to accommodate any needs.

The stairs down from the road are numerous and quite steep. Thankfully I had some help to get my suitcase down, and back up. The menu could have a few extra options as there are no other restaurants nearby. But both those things are counter balanced by the natural beauty of the place.

We absolutely loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer . The bamboo house was perfect . It had everything we need and the view was amazing. The sounds is the river , the lush jungle . I sat by the river and read my book , was perfect .

The food at the restaurant needs improvement.

The cabin was beautiful. It looks very new and clean. Amazing view. Managed by the owner, she is very friendly and helpful. She organised taxi for me, hiring a motorbike an anything I needed. She cook my breakfast and it was delicious.

In terms of how the manage the food, it's still bali. but they do their best with the resources they have.

The place, the structure but mostly the people and the feelings are an absolute blessing for every traveller ang human being...you ll leave a piece of your heart there and go back home with a piece of theirs...highly reccomended ...susksma for everything , priceless experience

Impossible to find something negative.

Honestly one of the best places we stayed on our journey. Not only is the stay simply beautiful, Dawa and her family were wonderful hosts! We had many lovely conversations and they made sure we had everything we needed and more, also if you want to do river tubing they have that on offer too. The rooms are beautiful, hearing the river whilst going to sleep was a delight and the pool is with natural spring water which was a delight! Amazing place to stay if you don’t like being in the tourist spots, about a 20mins scooter ride through lovely scenery to ubud which we loved. Will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to the area :)

The serene and beautiful surroundings of Aksha Riverside is magical! It is a relaxing fancy glamping style accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of tourists for a very reasonableprice. Perfect place to have a relaxing and romantic get away for a solo person or a couple. It is a friendly family run business with Only 4 huts at the propertywhichgives you so much privacyand quietness. Genuine people and authentic local experience. I loved every bit of my stay and will definitely go back ✨️

If there was a little fridge and AC in the room that would have been nice but reasonably priced for what they offer.

If you like being close to nature, this is the best place for you. You can hear the river and nature sounds all the time. The owner is very kind and helpful, we can only recommend this place.

The staff are very friendly and caring.The view is amazing. The location is great, if you want to get away from the noise of the city. 30 minutes with motorbike from the Ubud center.

The room was extremely comfortable, spacious and inviting, with lovely view over the river. The shower was also beautiful and spacious, made in stone so feeling very much like part of nature. Loved the kettle in the room too. The breakfast and food in general were tasty and well-priced.

I wish there was more furniture or at least cushions on the little balcony, so one can sit and enjoy the view more comfortably.

I have spent 1 week here, and I really recommande you this place. You location is just perfect for people who need to reconnect. The place is very quiet, calm and relax ! You can have a swim on the river, do mediation on the temple, and do tubing activity on the river. The owner are very very kind and nice . I really loved this place. WiFi is working very well.

As a solo traveler I felt so safe and welcome. The people who work there are so lovely and caring. The house itself is cute and has all the basics you need and it’s very clean. I had my door open most of the time but there were no mosquito’s in my room. The view is amazing. The tubing they offer is also great fun! The food they offer is simple but good. If you love nature then I highly recommend this place.
