Umah Bali Kuno Villa

We had an amazing stay at Umah Bali Kuno Villa. The view is absolutely breathtaking, and the privacy of the villa is excellent. One of the best parts was relaxing in the pool while enjoying the incredible nature scenery around us — it felt peaceful and magical at the same time. The staff were truly wonderful and very attentive. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always smiling. They made us feel like part of their family throughout our stay. If you are looking for a peaceful place surrounded by nature with warm hospitality, this is definitely the perfect choice.

We loved how nice, caring, and attentive our hosts were! They attended to our every need with such care and compassion. They made our stay feel so care free and welcoming! They greeted us with a coffee tasting while making sure our room was ready for us! They showed us how to use everything in the villa. Since it was a family owned villa, they truly made us feel special and like family! we absolutely loved our stay here and didnt want to leave!

The only thing we can really say here is there were still bugs around the area that we dealt with, but thats inevitable knowing the area is all jungle! And whats nice about this villa is the staff provided us with bug spray and mosquito repellent for skin which was a lot of help!

What makes this place exceptional is the jungle and the people (owners and staff)! We felt really looked after. Any issue we had was sorted out promptly. I also found the bed very comfortable!

There were some small details that could do with more attention but there is nothing I didn't like.

İlk girdiğimiz anda bizi birsürü böcekler karşıladı odanın heryeri böcek doluydu , havuzun keyfini sadece böcekler ve kurbağalar çıkardı asla kullanamadık, temizlik konusunda sadece söylediğimiz zaman yapıldı çarşaflar değişsin banyo temizlensin vs olarak tek tek söylemeniz lazımdı. Bu kadar doğayla iç içe olduğu için ormanda türlü türlü böcek sürüngen yılan görmeniz yüksek olasılık bunun için hiçbir önlem alınmamıştı, kahvaltı seçenekleri kısıtlıydı

Fantastische omgeving! Prachtig leuk zwembad. Back to nature gevoel. Lekker ontbijt/avondmaal. Heel vriendelijke bediening.

De hygiëne kon beter. In de badkamer lagen er nog veel donkere haren rond de lavabo en op de grond. Ikzelf ben blond ;) De lakens hadden langs de buiten -en binnenkant veel vliegenstrontjes. Langs de buitenkant snap ik nog, want er waren veel vliegen. Maar binnen doet me vermoeden dat de lakens niet zo goed kunnen gewassen worden. De stiptheid van het ontbijt/avondmaal. Werd nooit gebracht wanneer we vroegen. Meestal vroeger, dus wel iets om mee rekening te houden als je in bad zit :) De privacy aan het zwembad. De mensen die koffie kwamen proeven konden ons zien liggen aan het zwembad.

We had an amazing stay at this villa! It’s run by a lovely family — all of them are incredibly kind and friendly. Everything was perfect — the view was breathtaking, the atmosphere peaceful, and the entire place spotless. We loved starting our mornings with coffee overlooking the beautiful scenery and enjoying the delicious food. The Balinese massage was absolutely wonderful and added the perfect touch to our relaxing getaway. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and we truly felt at home. Highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for peace, comfort, and unforgettable memories in Bali! 🌿✨

Wat een fantastisch verblijf hebben wij gehad bij Umah Bali Kuno Villa! Ons verblijf voor het eerste deel van onze vakantie; negen nachten in het totaal. Een heerlijke plek met eigen zwembad waar je lekker privé kunt zijn. Voldoende, en verschillende, zitjes en oprecht een heerlijk (!) bed, voor sommigen ook fijn om te weten ☺️. De familie en alle mensen die er werken zó verschrikkelijk vriendelijk en behulpzaam, je wordt er nederig van 🙏🏼. Wij hadden ons geen betere ‘start’ van onze vakantie kunnen wensen! Ik ga het bewust hier vermelden en niet bij wat ‘niet beviel’ want dat zou het te groot maken. De schoonmaak had voor ons wat beter gemogen. Niet niet de frequentie want hang het bordje op en ze maken de villa diezelfde dag schoon, maar meer de kleine dingen wat het voor ons echt helemaal af zouden hebben gemaakt. Maar mss onze (Europese) standaard ook anders 🤔. En, vergeet ook een theedoek- en keukendoekje niet; liggen er niet, maar ook als je alleen maar kopje koffie of thee zou zetten handig om bij te hebben 🙃.

Umah Bali kuno ha sido la mejor opción que pudimos hacer en nuestro viaje a Bali . Aquí pasamos dos noches , una de ellas era nuestra noche de bodas . No tengo las suficientes palabras de agradecimiento a esta familia, a cada uno de ellos , gracias . La villa es incluso mejor que en las fotos , con su increíble piscina privada , su zona de comer , su balcón para ver el atardecer .... Indescriptible . Nos han hecho sentir como en casa , te llevan desayuno , comida , cena ( lo que necesites ) a la habitación . Incluso contratamos un masaje , espectacular por cierto . Por otro lado , si no te vas a alojar allí , te recomiendo que vayas , ya que hacen cata de te y café , te explican como lo hacen y todo el proceso ( disponen de tienda por si luego quieres adquirir alguno ) . Nos ayudaron a alquilar motor , taxi .... Y cuando volvimos de la boda nos hicieron unas fotos increíbles en zonas de la finca . Ahhhh tienen columpio por si quieres hacerte la foto con vestido y todo , las vistas son espectaculares . Ojalá pueda volver en unos años ...

Ubytování je vkusně zařízené, čisté a na krásném místě uprostřed pralesa. Jako welcome drink byla káva nebo čaj což bylo super po dlouhé cestě na skůtru.Personál byl velice milý. Objednali jsme si snídani která byla naprosto perfektní. Můžeme jen doporučit. Pokud se na Bali vrátíme, určitě sem.

this place is AMAZING. With only two villas, located inside a Traditional Balinese House, this is a cultural experience you will never forget. Local coffee, local teas, local food. Local experience with getting to know about Balinese traditions. Staff is extremely helpful and lovely. The bamboo villa is amazing. Stunning view, comfortable bed, AC, a bed hanging over the house for better view. it's just amazing. the staff is great and treat you like family. this place is peaceful, comfortable and cozy, close to Tirta temple with Holy Water and close to several rice fields

This is a very unique property for anyone wishing to experience Balinese culture and hospitality, without all the pitfalls of a typical Bali resort. It provides a high level of comfort in a very peaceful setting and comes highly recommended from someone who has visited and worked in Bali many times over the past 30 years.

Great food available, but just ask them to ensure the breakfast is hot when delivered.

Choosing this villa was the best decision. The traditional Balinese accommodation was beautiful and cozy, and it was the perfect place for us who wanted to rest relax in the nature. The pool was clean and the nap I enjoyed in the hammock was great. The family running this villa was very friendly and immediately helped me with any request I made. If I come to Ubud again, I will definitely come back to this villa.

Amazing location with an isolated view in the jungle. Very unique experience.

Nothing. Everything was perfect

1/ Building with its own characteristics that best fit forest context. Bamboo and stone are the major materials, help us to feel the nature; 2/ Best forest view; 3/ Sufficient and good amenities for short trip, i.e. Private and decent swimming pool, TV with Netflix, additional hanging bed, huge and relax shower room; 4/ Very Helpful and passionate staff; 5/ Extraordinary coffee experience at coffee shop at the villa; 6/ Tasty breakfast and fresh drinks provided by villa.

1/ Insect issue. Many insects lives at the outdoor, but are expected. We also found lot of colourful butterflies, that’s great! A little amount of insects can be found at indoor, so better to keep the glass door be closed and not let them get in the house; 2/ Chicken’s morning sound may be annoying at all daytime , but can get used to it; 3/ There are some difficulties to find the house at dark environment or rainy days. It will be good to provide some illuminated directional signage to guide people or provide portable flashlight.

Amazing property, the view is unbelievable!! There is a great energy in the place, very relaxing and healing. You can’t get better than that. Really special place and special thanks to Bali for driving us!

Few very small details to sort out, nothing major

Our stay in the villa was perfect. The villa is ideally located north of Ubud so in peace, a hidden gem in an isolated jungle room. The infinity pool as well as the perch offer a splendid view of the surrounding jungle. The room is very comfortable and fully equipped with a particularly large and comfortable bed. Note the warm welcome you will receive from the family who owns the villa. The best warm welcome we have received since our stay in Indonesia which includes the visit of Java, Lombak and Raja Ampat. An irreproachable quality of service where each time we ask for help we were offered (scooter rental, meals at the villa, breakfast in the rice fields and many other tips if you wish). In conclusion, it was a remarkable stay in all its aspects. And especially if you want to enjoy a particularly caring contact from a Balinese family where you will discover the culture and soul of the people of Bali

It is a privilege to be a guest here, one of the best quality hotels you can stay in the Ubud area.The facility is very clean and a luxury hotel with quality furnishings.The staff is very attentive and helpful.They also help you when you want to rent a car or motorcycle. You can also try luwak coffee in hotel.

It is a beautiful property with very kind staff, very clean. The breakfast was very nice and they even offered a solution when we encountered a problem with the bees and our food. All the facilities worked nicely and everything was very easy to find. The net was exceptionally amazing because of the added bedding, making it so much more comfortable. Also, having the opportunity to experience more of Balinese culture right next door was very nice. The option to order lunch/dinner via a close-by restaurant was also really nice. Communication was relatively easy and very quick over whatsapp. A definite plus was the amazing hot shower, which seem to be hard to find here in Bali.

There appeared to be colouring in the swimming pool, so our hair turned slightly green. Furthermore, there was a stove in the kitchen - but no pans to cook on it (sadly we forgot to ask about this issue during our stay). Also, the slight problem with punctuality - we ordered for our breakfast to be at 09:30 but they arrived with the food a little past 9 all three times. Finally, if I were to suggest something, it would be to add a way to refill water bottles.
