The location is in the midst of the medina. The breakfast was delicious and served on the rooftop with great views of the mountains. We highly.recommend and we will be definetly come bsck!!!

Although our room was large and bright it was directly over the tourist street and the young men owning the shops below did like to party whilst they shut up shop. If you want an early night forget it, but was quiet from 11pm onwards. The inside courtyard rooms will be quieter but without the light and views

Reviewed May 5, 2026La posizione in pieno centro del riad è davvero invidiabile. Appena si arriva si rimane estasiati dalla bellezza e dalla tipicità del riad , perfettamente immerso nell’atmosfera del paese blu . Gentile e disponibile la proprietaria che serve una tipica colazione sulla terrazza .
La bellezza di essere in centro si scontra con la difficoltà per raggiungerlo . Infatti questo costringe a lasciare l’auto lontano e trascinare le valigie (se si hanno ..) fino al riad dove vi attendono due rampe di scale strette e ripide, dove ci sono le camere che , sebbene deliziose, sono davvero troppo piccole . Raggiungere la terrazza e fare colazione su minuscoli tavolini può essere un’impresa e quindi lo sconsiglio per chi ha difficoltà motorie .

La chambre twin donnait sur une rue assez bruyante en début de soirée. Les fenêtres ne fermant pas complètement. Heureusement cela s'est assez vite calmé. Salle de bains un peu spartiate (wc très près de la douche).

Reviewed May 3, 2026Es war sehr schön eingerichtet, Da es leider kalt war und es nur Einglasfenster gibt war es kalt und laut. Der kleine Heizer hat nicht wirklich etwas gebracht. Der Parkplatz war relativ nah und die Vermieterin hat ihn uns als Standort geschickt. Die Vermieterin war sehr nett und die Kommunikation war super.
Es hat aus dem Waschbecken gestunken, da es keinen Syphon hat. Wir haben feuchtes WC Papier darüber gelegt, somit war der Gestank weg. Wir hatten zum Glück ein Zimmer mit Fenster, den die anderen riechen nach Moder und Schimmel, da sie sich nicht wirklich belüften lassen. Da es Mitten in der Medina ist, war es sehr laut. Nachdem die Läden zu waren, sind bis früh in den Morgen die Mopeds durch die Gassen gerast.

Por poner alguna pega hay poco espacio si llevas mucha ropa, pero es muy acogedor y bonito!

Il bagno molto piccolo e soprattutto la doccia fredda…l’acqua calda è terminata praticamente subito.

Its not really a complaint as much as an observation. Bed was Marocan hard as found every other place we stayed be it Riad, Hotel, Dar or air bnb.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Dar El Fanne is a beautiful riad with comfortable rooms and a lovely view from the rooftop terrace. Our room was painted blue with blue curtains and bedspread, which made the room an excellent retreat from the heat of Chefchaouen. The host was very kind and made us breakfast every day. The riad also has laundry service for 50dh. Bonus - there is a cat with three cute kittens who live on the terrace!
Our room faced the street on the second floor and it was a bit loud at night as the shopkeepers closed up.

Reviewed Dec 30, 2025È stata una scoperta meravigliosa. Najat è un'ospite gentile e accogliente. Ha soddisfatto tutte le nostre aspettative e in più ci ha lasciato un dolce ricordo di lei. Il Riad è tradizione e le camere sono accoglienti e calde, nonostante la temperatura molto fredda. Con una stufetta per riscaldare e delle coperte per il letto siamo stati veramente bene. La colazione è completa e soddisfacente. Consiglierei il Riad a tutti!! Ancora un affettuoso ringraziamento a Najat, alias Ana.

Gracias a ella nos hemos sentido como en casa, es muy detallista y habla muy bien español por lo que nos entendíamos perfectamente. Me hubiera gustado quedarme muchos días más!!! La habitación muy cómoda y calentita, idéntica a las fotos. El desayuno muy rico. Sus dos gatitos son una monada.😻
