Reviewed Sep 9, 2026This was a beautiful and quiet place to stay, not far from Killarney but also tucked away near the Gap of Dunloe out of the chaos of the Killarney City Centre. The hosts were lovely people who have opened their home and made it a very warm and inviting place to stay! The property is well maintained, there are friendly furry creatures ready to welcome you in and the breakfast service was divine! We felt well taken care of in every sense. Jen also invited us to listen to some traditional music at the local pub, which was absolutely beautiful!
I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this property. Everything was incredible and well thought out with care.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Jen and Fergal and their colleagues were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good quality and more than sufficient to eat. The room and public areas were very clean. The tea/coffee facilities were a bonus.
Location is a bit isolated if you prefer built up areas and bars and restaurants. I personally found the mattress unforgiving for my bad back but my wife said she had no issues.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026La mejor casa en la que estuvimos durante los 10 días que duró nuestro viaje. Desayuno excelente aceptando peticiones especiales como "sin gluten" de mi hija. Los propietarios son muy amables. Nos hicieron una reserva de una ruta con antelación. Antes del desayuno me gusta tomar un café y me lo pusieron todos los días que estuvimos. Tienen libros y guias y te aconsejan sobre rutas, Y muy importante el sitio es muy cómodo con jardín, columpios para niños, plazas de parking Dentro de la casa hay un salón para leer y un sitio para comer si lo traes de fuera (tiene nevera).
Todo perfecto, La ubicación es muy relativa depende de las actividades que vayas a realizar. Nosotros hicimos el gap of dunloe y fue perfecto.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026Goede locatie vlakbij de Ring of Kerry. Fijne kamer en een fantastisch ontbijt. Wij waren er in een voor Ierland zeer warme periode. Daarom werd de kamer voorzien van ventilator. Gastvrije mensen. Je krijgt allerlei tips voor het ontdekken van de omgeving. Een echte aanrader.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026Amazing location overlooking the Macgillycuddy Reeks and Gap of Dunloe. A secluded location but close to Kate Kearneys Cottage for food. We cycled and it was less than 10 minutes. We were initially welcomed by Fergal who showed us around and helped out with any questions we had and was extremely helpful. We met Jen later on and were welcomed by a huge smile and such a warm personality! You're great hosts! Thanks so much for a great stay and hearty breakfast each morning. Highly recommended to anyone. Abe & Nicola (The Climbers) 😁

Si nous avons apprécié le calme environnant, celui ci a toutefois un coût : les règles de vie intérieures sont un peu strictes. N’espérez pas prendre de douche après avoir dansé au pub toute la soirée ! Du fait de l’absence d’insonorisation intérieure, il est interdit de se doucher après 22h30 !!…sinon la propriétaire vous en fera le commentaire au réveil, juste après un bonjour rapide :(

We enjoyed everything: from Jen’s warm welcome, the delicious breakfasts, a good night's sleep and the lovely views, to swimming in the Muckross Lake (thank you, Fergal), visiting charming Killarney and all the mountains around, tasting local whiskey and gin in the Beaufort Bar, to a trip along the coast to Dingle with its fabulous ice cream and Coumeenoole Beach. And we can continue :)

The next pub is walking distance, but the walk is on a main road without room for pedestrians. The pub in Beaufort is a sad place. The only thing we missed is having some places in walking distance.

Kühe, Katzen, Hunde und ein Hirsch in der Ferne, viel Grün, Aussicht auf Berge, viele Tips und einfach mal so Gespräche mit den Gastgebern Fergul und Jen.eine kleine Küche mit Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher,so muss man nicht jeden Abend zum nächstgelegenen (empfehlenswerten) Pub fahren

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026I came out to Beaufort to hike Carrauntoohil. So glad I found Inveraray. I loved the Irish breakfast, my view out onto the Gap of Dunloe and Jen and Ferg’s hospitality. They went above and beyond my entire stay with recommendations and last-minute fixes. Excited to come back next year.

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026Un endroit situé en campagne à l’extérieur de Killarney, calme et paisible. Les hôtes sont d’une gentillesse incroyable. Les déjeuners sont vraiment excellents et préparés avec soin.
Notre chambre à l’étage était très chaude à notre retour en début de soirée … avec un fan et le coucher du soleil on finissait tout de même à être confortable et bien dormir.

Our little son had a great time swinging in the garden every evening. We highly recommend Inveraray Farm if you are looking for a peaceful stay close to nature.

Das sehr gute Frühstück hat das mehr als wettgemacht. Ideale Lage mit kurzen Wegen zu den Ausflugszielen der Umgebung.

Reviewed Jun 30, 2026Fergal welcomed us to the place and showed us around the house and all the amenities they have: several tea/coffee stations, rooms, and a fridge if you needed to keep anything during your stay. He showed us to our room with great views of the Gap of Dunloe. They have a lovely place, and the breakfast was very organised, with no waiting for a table, and they were very quick to serve all the tables. They are also open for a chat and advise on your trip plans, or give you suggestions if you are unsure of anything.
The only suggestion we have is to provide larger towels, as we found them a bit small.

Reviewed Jun 27, 2026The location, views, animals, hospitality, camaraderie among the staff, and comfort were all fantastic. Jen and Fergal do an amazing job running the place and are so wonderful. They were both so welcoming and Jen was very thorough showing us everything and making sure we had everything we needed every day. Fergal even called the dogs in so we could say goodbye to them, as we wanted a couple last strokes before we left. You can tell everyone here really cares and have so much heart. I would take a trip out to Kerry specifically for this B&B
No complaints here! Even during the heatwave, Jen and Fergal were so hospitable and did what they could to make sure we were comfortable. They care so much and have so much heart.

Reviewed Jun 27, 2026The B&B was marvelous 10/10! Jen welcomed us and told us everything about the place and we immediately felt like home. The rooms were clean and cozy. The place had a lovely garden and a small playground for the kids. The house had even a playroom! That was something our kids especially appreciated. Even if the B&B is some 20 minutes away from Killarney, it is just on the Ring of Kerry. So you don't have to drive through the crowds in the city to get going. There is nice restaurant and pub just 5 minutes from the accommodation where you can eat fine and hear some traditional Irish music.

Reviewed Jun 26, 2026The property was amazing. this was our first BNB anywhere, period, and it was such a picturesque version of what we have ever thought a BNB to be. The location was gorgeous and the property was so beautifully well-kept with lush gardens and plenty of parking. We ended up arriving much later than the check in time but the owner was more than accommodating for us especially given our last minute conversation with him.
The only complaint we have, and it's somewhat nitpicky because the property is on a farm, is that there were bugs in the room. Nothing terribly scary or anything like that, but little rolly polis and beetles and some small spiders. But once we collected them and put them outside (through the external door!) we didn't see anymore.
