Reviewed Jun 20, 2026Rooms were cozy, comfortable with air conditioning, which is a must in Tirupati. Facilities include Kitchen with refrigerator, Wi-Fi facility, laundry facilities on demand. Ever smiling host Venu is ready to help anytime , he used to pick my call even at late night. I will be grateful to him for having arranged for Tirupati Darshan and for helping me out in some tough situations during the Darshan period. Will prefer to stay in Sri Shakti homestay whenever I visit Tirupati next time. Will rate my stay 10 out of 10.
Location is little interior but commuting is not a problem. Hence not a major issue.

Reviewed Apr 7, 2026The dedication and interest of the host is very much visible with the way every amenity is placed and presented. The extremely polite host makes you feel at home instantly. The peaceful location of the stay is an additional benefit.
Since most of the people visit Tirupati for Darshan at Tirumala, this location is at quite a distance. So travel time and ride fare might be an addition to one’s budget.

Most impoprtantly, I had 9 months twins travelling with me, and they sleep only on the cloth cradle (thotil), none o the properties had the ceiling hook, which is traditionally found in homes (<1990), except SS Homestay. it had one for each bedroom and we had a very restful stay!
