Nada. No está en el centro de la ciudad pero está muy cerca y tiene alrededor varios restaurantes agradables.

The property sits in a very convenient and good location. The view from the property is absolutely excellent. Fresh flower vases were kept in the rooms, which was a lovely gesture. Additionally, the manager and her parents were incredibly polite, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay.

Several details on the Booking.com listing differ significantly from reality. The actual square footage of the apartment is much smaller than advertised, and our rooms were split across two floors. Although a wardrobe is provided, it was locked, leaving us with nowhere else to hang our clothes. Furthermore, the shared toilet is exceptionally small. Hot water is only available in the shower, while the basin tap and the bidet/Muslim shower only have freezing cold water.

Séjour parfait le soir du 8 mars. Nous avons été accueillis par la mère et sa fille avec un grand sourire et une gentillesse incroyable. Elles sont adorables, très attentionnées et font tout pour que l’on se sente comme à la maison. L’accueil est vraiment chaleureux et authentique, ce qui rend l’expérience encore plus agréable. On sent qu’elles mettent du cœur dans ce qu’elles font. Je recommande cet endroit à 100 %. Les Français qui lisent ce commentaire peuvent réserver les yeux fermés, vous serez très bien accueillis. Encore un grand merci à la mère et à sa fille pour leur hospitalité exceptionnelle !

Los propietarios fantásticos, gente muy humilde y cercana, apartamento muy bien ubicado, con agua caliente y limpio, con mucho espacio, perfecto para vivir la experiencia en las tierras altas de sry lanka.

Страхотни хора са хазяите. Жилището е семпло в типичен за района стил. Имате удобства. Ще ви приготвят страхотна закуска. Ако искате за изкарате една или няколко нощи като местните, ще ви хареса, но не очаквайте лукс, а гостоприемство. Не е опасно няма комари и въздухът е свеж. Може да се насладите на гледка към голф игрището от балкона, но също така и към не толкова приятните жилища на местните. Но този апартамент е чист, семпъл и приятен, а цената е повече от добра.

Хайде оправете малко банята и ще получите по- добра оценка. Малко е страшничко да минете през безистена за несвикналите с действителността, но всъщност няма нищо страшно. Хората са добри. Има доста стръмни стълби, апартаментът е и мезонет и за хора с проблеми с колената ще има проблем.

Esta ben situada, i el personal és molt atent.

El bany podria estar amb més bones condicions i ser més apte pels turistes. La dutxa es complicada al estar mig obert i estar compartit amb el wc. A part que tenia escapes i sempre tenia el terra mullat. Els matalassos son algo justos de comoditat, pero no hem dormit malament. El pitjor els ocells que fan niu a sobre, que caminen per la teulada i fan soroll tota la nit.

La hospitalidad de Manel y su familia fue increíble, incluso antes de llegar nos ayudaron. Han sido sólo dos noches, pero nos hemos sentido en casa. Camas con mantas gustosas para protegernos del frío y ubicación ideal para moverte por Nuwara Eliya. También recomiendo el restaurante de su sobrino, Café Drizzle, en la misma ubicación. Comida rica, a buen precio y trato muy bueno.

La familia de Manel, tanto ella como su hija y su marido, son unas personas maravillosas. No hablan mucho inglés, solo la hija, y se desviven por ayudarte en todo. Nos invitaron a cenar incluso con ellos una noche, aunque no pudimos ir. El padre nos llevó en tuktuk a ver una cascada imposible y subió con nosotras para no dejarnos solas. Fue un verdadero caballero. La casa está bien cuidada.

- La cocina no tiene muchas cosas para poder cocinar si uno lo quiere. - El baño no tenía agua caliente y estaba construido en un tipo de terraza medio cerrada, osea que había como un hueco que siempre estaba abierto, sin cristal, y con un frío que pelaba. Fue imposible ducharse en 2 días. - La zona ducha/vater están casi una encima de la otra. Está claro que en estos países es típico el no tener separación ni mampara ni cortina ni nada, pero aquí literalmente estaba todo pegado… y después quedaba encharcado (el día que intentamos ducharnos sin éxito porque no había agua caliente). - La entrada hasta la casa se hace por un pasillo exterior que es un poco tétrico, la verdad…

Veľmi ochotná rodina, bez problémov nás ubytovali neskoro večer. Prístup do vily bol náročný (veľa schodov), ale majiteľ ochotne vyniesol batožinu.

Najväčším nedostatkom ubytovania bola kúpeľňa, ktorej chýbalo okno. Vzhľadom na to, že v ten deň bolo 15 stupňov a pršalo, bolo v kúpeľni chladno a pršalo do nej. Ponúkli nám piecku s drevom na zakúrenie, ktorú sme nevyužili, nakoľko sme prišli neskoro a boli sme unavení, avšak piecka by celý priestor dostatočne nevykúrila.

This property gives fantastic value for money with the entire host family involved in your experience. Sasemi was very communicative before our stay and arranged for her dad to collect us from the train station in his tuk tuk. We also got him to give us a city tour and he helped us buy the food so that her mum could cook dinner with us that evening, which was fantastic! The family couldn’t have been more hospitable and Sasemi even arranged our onwards taxi and the family came to meet us as we left. The house is basic but comfortable with plenty of room for 3 of us with a bed each. The kitchen equipment is limited to a kettle unless you want to cook on the open stove, but Dad installed a gas ring so we could heat up our breakfast in the morning. Thank you very much to the whole family!

The wash facilities are a basic wet room on a converted rear balcony, but I think are pretty standard for Sri Lanka and what more do you want for this price!

Good location, very good value, lots of space and lovely owners

There were a few negatives, it was very noisy at night the first night and the second there were lots of dogs barking. Not within the property, but did impact. The bed downstairs is probably fine for most, but quite short for a six footer and also very hard I'm afraid. Also the shower is in the toilet which has done openings which are permanently open, so could be a little cold for some. However this is all reflected in the price.

I spent one night with my family, and the owners were very kind and helpful. Restaurants and supermarkets are nearby. The place is great for the price.

Parking is on the street, but we had no problems.

The owner, Mrs. Manel, was incredibly friendly, kind, and easy to communicate with—she truly made us feel at home. The place was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and cozy. It was the perfect spot for a peaceful and comfortable getaway. Thank you so much, Mrs. Manel, for your warm hospitality! Highly recommended..!! 😄

I rarely rate places to stay with "10", but this wonderful place in Nuwara Eliya deserves more than the highest rating. It is a two-story apartment, perfectly clean, comfortable, with good beds, hot water, a kitchen and a balcony. It is located right in the center of Nuwara Eliya, close to supermarkets and restaurants, but at the same time it is very quiet. I would like to emphasize the kindness and hospitality of the hosts, this is a wonderful Sri Lankan family who live in the same town (not in the same house where we lived) and who promptly resolved any of our questions and requests, and also fed us a great dinner and took us to the train station after check-out.

There is no Wi-Fi in the apartment, this is indicated in the description on Booking. On the other hand, you can buy a Sri Lankan SIM card in any store nearby.

Ms.Manel and her family were super helpful. It is an ideal place for sole travellers or ladies because the neighbourhood is super protective.

There was loads of room for our 4 person family. Boasting two levels that both had open areas for relaxing or having a meal together. Also a kitchen to prepare the meal. Views out over the golf course made for a pleasant morning cuppa on the balcony The hosts were an extremely nice family. I hope we have the opportunity to return soon

The place was perfect and really cozy. The owners were extremely nice with us, they invited us to their house for te and they brought us dinner to the place.

Very good location. Spacious rooms and dining room. I like the big table. The host lady was very friendly and helpful. She helped me finding cars to Horton and confirming the bus to Ella. Super nice people.

The wash room is actually the balcony so when it is raining at night it will be cold and wet. No wifi.

The house was located very close to the city center hence it was pretty easy to find transportation and lots of good restaurants less than a km away. The house is in a complex with many other houses too and ours was on the second floor. The place was well maintained and it was very clean throughout the house. Adequate furniture to ensure a comfortable stay. The host and her parents are lovely people who were eager to assist us and made sure we had all we needed.

The bathroom and toilet had a separate entrance just outside the kitchen and it made it difficult for us to use it in the nights since the weather was too cold for us. Water shower pressure was low too. Otherwise everything else was good.
