Old Street Yun Zhu Hotel

location was excellent, right in the old tunxi street itself. a little challeging to find the hotel but a nearby streeet vendor called the reception, and someone came quickly to pick us up.

Good location if you want to walk around the town.

The property could use newer carpets.

Lo staff è stato incredibilmente disponibile, avevamo un problema con i treni e si sono adoperati con zelo, impegnando molto del loro tempo. Siamo rimasti davvero colpiti dalla loro gentilezza e disponibilità.

Clean and comfortable.

Great location. There is a big elevator for luggages. Some great amenities including a self massage chair and a washer/dryer.

No breakfast. One of our rooms smelled like cigarettes. Hard to park.

Beautiful hotel and big and comfortable room, we also loved the little garden terrace on the 3rd floor, the staff was very nice to us and knew english aswell, they also helped us get a carpool to huangshan mountain.

Location is on the tourist pedestrian street and the entrance does not appear to be a hotel but it actually is located in the back.

It is hard to get a taxi from the hotel. You must walk a long distance to the main road.

Hôtel situé très au centre de la ville, dans la vieille rue. Chambre spacieuse et propre, chauffage qui fonctionne bien. Jolie vue sur les toits de la ville.

Les joints de la douche sont sales et devraient être refaits.

The hotel is situated right in the old street of Tunxi. It lays behind a sweet shop and that protected us from the noise of the street. The hotel is exquisite and comfortable.

I loved everything.

Location is great, directly at the old street. Clean and modern hotel for a great price. In previous reviews it was mentioned that only disposable towels are provided but now it's cotton towels, which I liked. Will stay here again if I come to huangshan again.

Nice hotel located at the entrance of Tunxi Old Street, all the necessary amenities, very clean, helpful staff, plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. They also arranged a guided trip for me to Huangshan Mountain

The room was so cozy and I LOVED the tour in Huanshan Mountain with the guide proposed by the Hotel. It was amazing

Excellent location in the traditional part of the city where artisans, craftspeople and great food choice was right there. A famous location. Great in the early evening. Rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. The manager was helpful with good English. I especially appreciated that she took the initiative to return my glasses when I ( idiotically) left them there.

It was a little hard to find initially, as it does not have an obvious facade. We had a taxi driver! At the entry is a tea shop, selling a big range of local teas. You go through the tea shop to enter. But, then, this became part of the local charm.

Lovely little hotel on the old street, room was very comfortable. Bed was nice and comfy. A bit far from the mountain and the other old towns. The paper hand & bath towels were not very good at drying you off after the shower, other than that the room was very nice.

Great value and location .

It was wonderful to stay in an old house on Gulangyu. I especially enjoyed the breakfasts--simple, delicious, and served in a wonderfully cozy room full of plants and small animals. The small staff has a nice human touch. Great all around! I also liked that the windows were operable, and that there were several outdoor patios to enjoy the balmy weather.

Room was spacious and clean. We love the room top garden and the location was just along the old street shopping. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

Mosquitos were present and I got bitten several times but the staff was quick to give us mosquito repellent and that solved the problem.

Confortable beds and the location is amazing 🤩

This is not a Hostel International anymore. So the atmosphere is really different from what you could expect from that kind of place. It has been bought by a private owner and has a different name. Some of the staff don’t speak English and they smoke cigarettes at the reception desk. I have been to the hostel many times in the past and it’s really different now. Please update the name and infos on Booking!

Extremely helpful owner who was easy to contact and helped answer all of our questions. The facilities were great and included a beautiful balcony area with lots of cool plants and a nice bar area with a pool table. The surrounding streets were very pretty too.

Hotel doesn't exist anymore under the name Old Street Youth Hostel. Place is also completely run down. Even toilet in room was not working.

The location and size of the rooms were perfect. There were multiple spaces for hanging out with friends and meeting new people. The owners also spoke proficient English and were helpful.

It is clear that the hostel has not been at peak function in a long time. The bar area is dusty and completely unusable. However, it is understandable due to COVID-19's toll.
