YO's Homes Rivergate Apartment Infinity Pool Near District 1

Food was everywhere to eat and a lot of variety. Also we were a 20 walk or 6 min taxi from the Ben Thanh market.

The check in process was weird. This isn't a hotel but an apartment building. There are signs that say temporary residence was not allowed which made me feel like at any time we would need to relocate but people were checking in everyday so it must have been fine.

Ce que je n'ai pas aimé dans cet établissement sont premièrement la propreté énormément de bruit les fenêtres isole mal le bruit les clims sont sales et la propriétaire vous fait attendre lors de votre arrivée après 12 heures de vol ce qui est inadmissible sans aucune raison valable ce qui nous fait attendre en bas à la réception sans moyen d'être contacté nous avons attendu quasiment une heure sans aucun geste commercial de sa part avec seulement un petit désolé ce qui n'est pas suffisant au vu du préjudice subi. Après cela elle envoie un membre de son personnel sans même se présenter elle même. Honteux.

Inchecken verliep niet vlekkeloos. Er is geen receptie dus er moet iemand langskomen om de sleutel te brengen. Deur code werkte niet dus we moesten ruim een uur wachten tot het opgelost was.

Check in was a bit complicated. You have to meet them, there is no reception as these are privately rented. However, the guy with the key was quick and helpful.

Location

the apartment did not correspond to the photos. To use the pool, you must have the signature of the owner of the apartment, which may be difficult to meet. I have enough for sleeping, but the apartment is not suitable for spending time

The location is good for the city centre and there are a couple of shops directly outside. They accommodated my earlier arrival.

I specifically booked the room for the pool, but wasn’t able to use it as I wasn’t given the appropriate lift key card for the pool level and it was closed one day. The previous occupant’s rubbish was still there.

2nd time staying at Rivergate. The location is good and the apartments affordable. I chose YO’s apartment for its views a d because Thú communicated very well. AC worked well and the beds were comfy.

It’s important to note that Rivergate has changed the rules regarding short term rentals. This is becoming common on HCM. An owner needs to accompany you to use the pool. When I wanted to use it Thú was unavailable. If you are traveling with children this may be a real pain when you return from site seeing and just want to give the kids some free time to swim and play. Facilities were lacking within the apartment given the price. The TV in the master bedroom was disconnected, there was no oven, no filtered water dispenser, no extra toilet paper or laundry powder.

Good value. Secure and clean building. Easy grab ride into District 1 attractions. The host was responsive.

The inability to access the much publicised infinity pool was a disappointment. Each day we attempted to gain access for our restless children and each day a different excuse was provided as why access would be prevented.

It was an excellent place to stay. The host was very helpful and attentive. Everything was exactly as described. Having a washing machine and detergent was a nice bonus. The market downstairs was super convenient.

I feel comfortable staying here during my working time in HCM. Service and affordable price for us. The apartment is located close to center is District 1, so it's easy to transport and there are many restaurants and stores nearby.

The location was very good and some rooms had fantastic views.

The pool was closed for some reason and access to the gym wasn't straightforward. Visitors do not get issued with an access card and have to wait for a resident to let them in.

Nice clean apartment in a serene environment

The studio apartment was well situated, a comfortable environment with well equipped appliances. The outdoor pool was lovely

The TV didn’t work as was advertised, when I called to have it fixed they said they would look into it but never did. The gym that was advertised was fingerprint entry only so when I asked to access the gym I didn’t even get a reply.

Good location, easy to find. Very close to the center. The apartment is spacious, nicely decorated, located on high level with great city view. Full-furnished as descibed. The host was friendly and helpful, smooth check-in and out.

I will say nothing

Very friendly and accommodating host, especially as we checked in late at 1am. Good location. Cleanliness, comfortable beds. Nice living space. Would highly recommend it.

Just nothing to compain

We booked Yo’s Rivergate very last minute as we had an issue with our previously booked accommodation. The owner was so quick to respond when I told her I needed to check in asap. The price is extremely reasonable and the accommodation has everything you might need for a short stay. Having a washing machine in the room was a big plus!

The property was not very clean. Stains on the walls/bed sheets. Dirty washcloth left in the sink and the fridge was really unclean. There was a pair of dirty rubber sliders left outside the bathroom door which had very clearly been used regularly by someone else. The property is a bit of a walk from district 1 (the main city area).

Absolutely nice place to stay and nice and flexible staff. We were given the possibility for an earlier check in as we came in with an early flight.
