The access driveway was pretty rough.

I personally loved how Salem the Black cat 🐈‍⬛ greeted me and was so friendly on arrival. The main bedroom where my friend slept was beautiful. I also really liked my room and was lovely to have electric blanket on my bed. Nice to relax after travelling from a funeral service.

I thought it was perfect, maybe wld have been nice to have a couple of slices of bread or bun or couple of biscuits.

It was close to town and easy to find. You have the entire two bedroom apartment complet with separate entrance and little courtyard where you can enjoy the view. A nice peaceful country feel option than a hotel room. They had everything and more to accommodate guests. I was solo traveler but enjoyed the country air and peaceful setting. Great place.

The only thing that I can really put in here would be the shower. Although it had great water pressure it was difficult to get the shower head to stay at the right angle. Once you turned the water on, the shower head would drop ( bend down towards the wall) I managed to fix the problem by wedging the flannel at the back to prevent it from doing it. I have been in hotels that have the same thing. Unsure what can be done to tighten it but it doesn't affect me rating this property a 10 out of 10!

Lovely place to stay. Clean and easy to heat. Friendly dogs and amazing views, including frolicking horses!

A bit awkward to walk into town but very doable.

The house was private and large enough to easily accommodate a family. The cat was very friendly and we enjoyed the cuddles! Great location, lovely and quiet. Despite heavy frosts it was nice and warm and cozy.

The place is amazing, really close to Timaru center. The animals on the farm are an extra plus. Opening the windows in the morning having the more friendly horses that you can find just some meters away is an awesome experience. House is really comfy and have everything that you need

One night stay was not enough to enjoy the place properly. Being picky on here, but a smart TV will be an amazing addition

Lovely apartment, well set out. Farm setting and scenery was great. Well set out kitchen. Instructions to find the place were clear but we had trouble following them after dark. Very comfortable and vegetable garden was great to see.

Shower rose would not start in place and the shower set up could and did spray water toward the doorway.

Houseflys were a bit much.

We made our own breakfast as expected. The facilities were more than adequate. The host met us when we arrived and explained what we needed to know and she had already unlocked the door knowing we were on our way.

Quiet country setting away from the highway. Friendly dogs and a friendly cat. Great view over the farm fields and watched a hawk and small flock of geese.

Wife and son loved the animals.

The apartment is on the first floor of the building and is surrounded by the host's garden. This is a working farm so we got to see horses and cattle every day. There are also two dogs and at least one cat that made us welcome. This was very much appreciated because we were missing our dog. The kitchen was very well-equipped plus there was a clothes washer so we were able to do a load of laundry and then hang it to dry. Meg, the owner, offered us produce from her garden and orchard and we were appreciative.

There was nothing we didn't like. We loved the quiet and the great views of the countryside. We would return if we were ever in the area again.

We liked the location on a rural property just outside of Timaru. It has large windows providing lots of light and views to the surrounding countryside. It is very spacious with two bedrooms and a large living area, a laundry and a well equipped kitchen. Whilst it is an older style property it is nicely renovated and is very clean. It a short drive to the shops in Timaru.

Despite detailed instructions we found it a little bit difficult to find. The gate is off the main highway and it was hard to see the number and property name on the gate while driving past.

I liked the private courtyard area - we great to keep the kids safe but entertained! Bonus was Salam the cat coming in in the morning to say hi! He was so sweet.

Smoke alarm was beeping in the laundry so we had to remove the battery.

Unfortunately the security light shines bright into the front room. It did only come on a couple of times though.

The farm location is very close to highway so drivers need carefully the way according to the instructions e-mailed by the owner.

Everything provided is excellent but the clothes rack is unacceptable.

An interesting experience of a night farm stay. The host, Meg, is friendly in greeting us, talking about her horses and calves. The apartment is spacious and clean. The farm is quiet at night, and the lovely animals are nearby.

Our family enjoyed that this place was in the country, away from the busy traffic of the town, though not far to get back in. We had our own family apartment space at the bottom of the barn house, out the back by the garden, with a clothesline of our own to dry washing. We were a little unsure about the rubbish situation when we arrived, but we were able to give the hosts a call/text them, and they explained. It was lovely having a washing machine, just need to bring soap powder. Our girls loved the animals, especially Salam the cat. Indi the Labrador was inquisitive and investigated our transit when we were unloading, as we had left the side door open. Thanks, Meg, for letting the girls help you garden and for showing them the foals. It was a highlight of their stay. The beds are comfortable, and my 5-year-old daughter liked the blankets at the ends of the beds and their trimmings. We enjoyed visiting the penguins at the beach in the evening.

My 5-year-old daughter didn't like Cash, the fox dog, barking every time she saw us. The shower makes a bit of a mess, but it's handy having a squeegee broom to clean up. The shower rose kept dropping down a bit and would not stay in place. These were all things we could handle, though.

My mum and I had a fantastic experience staying here. It was clean, cosy and in such a beautiful location. We both adored how homely it felt, and the animals were all so friendly - it was hard to say goodbye! Communication was really smooth and the hosts were lovely. I often feel unsettled staying in a new location, but with how comfortable the beds were and how relaxing it felt, I slept soundly both nights. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience & for being such great hosts.
