Reviewed Sep 6, 2026The property was nothing like shown in the pictures. Cold and very old property had dangerous and sloppy old fashioned stairs. Breakfast milk next morning had hairs twice. Not clean at all. Cat hair all over the place. Very disappointed

Reviewed Jul 22, 2026I was surprised that the breakfast was included and this was totally adequate. I was at thye early part of the breakfast time and they had not prepared everything.
There is a shared bathroom so you need to be mindful of the others in the house.

冬天房間完全不給暖氣取暖，房東說客廳有火爐，開著房門熱氣就會進來，不需要暖氣，我住在陌生的環境，怎麼可能一直開著門，非常不方便，為了取暖，我還是開著門但是溫度依然只有16.5度，我們同行還帶著一個3歲的孩子，這種溫度連洗澡都沒敢給孩子洗。我覺得太冷了再次跟房東要一台暖氣，房東堅持不給跟我說床上有電熱毯上床就暖和了，我開著電熱毯睡的好熱，關上又被凍醒，完全沒辦法睡好，早晨起來臉和鼻子都是冰的，看一下溫度只有15度，戶外只有3度。房子很大，但是使用很不方便，浴室沒有垃圾桶，沒有掛勾，或者可以放衣服和浴巾的地方，房間也沒有掛勾，衣櫃裡還有房東一堆雜物，衣架也都給小孩的衣架尺寸。

Reviewed May 26, 2026Quiet rural setting. Spacious well furnished room in private home. Shared bathroom/separate toilet with other guests. Access to owners' kitchen and dining area if needed. Friendly welcoming host. Healthy breakfast of granola, yoghurt, home grown pureed black peaches and tea/coffee.
Some minor issues. There were no hand towels/disposable napkins in the toilet. The rug in the bedroom appeared to need replacing. The attic style angled ceiling over the bed and tv was 'challenging' for a taller than average guest.

My husband gets up a lot in the night so needs to go to the bathroom. I hadn't factored that in nor had I asked. That was a little hard for him, but not anyone's fault.

Located about 12 minutes from central Timaru, you’re surrounded by some picturesque countryside and rolling hills. Everything was clean, and I was treated to a breakfast spread with some delicious jams and homemade yoghurt.

朝食は他の方のレビューにあった自家製ジャムやトーストを期待してしまっていましたが、weetbixとヨーグルトだけだったのが残念でした。しかし、トータルの宿泊費を考慮すると十分だと理解しています。ティマルに宿泊する際は必ず戻ってくるでしょう。

I ended up making a reservation very late, but there was no problem with the owner. They even made her a warm tea when she arrived. She said they were very kind, and everything was clean and comfortable.
