Es war sehr ruhig und entspannt. Die Lage ist super. Sehr zentral. Nach dem Check Out kann man sich in einem seperaten Bereich aufhalten und man kann kostenfrei seine Koffer unterstellen.

Morgens gab es Stau bei den Duschen und Toiletten. Die Leiter in die obere Schlafabteilung ist unpraktisch. Die Sprossen für die Füße sind zu schmal.

J’ai particulièrement aimé les lits en capsules, j’avais mon espace privé même dans une chambre partagée. Tout était intégré (lumière, prises, placard et une serviette de bain fournie gratuitement). Les espaces communs étaient propres et régulièrement nettoyés.

A genuinely great stay at El Josemari. Having researched hostels in the area, the quiet vibe and central location were appealing and when I got there it did not disappoint. The staff were exceptionally friendly, along with giving quick replies on WhatsApp to any questions (including when I got a bit lost!). I stayed in the 20 bed mixed dorm. It was very quiet, with good air conditioning and remained dark which helped with a relaxing vibe, and very much a space everyone respected was for sleeping. The cabin areas were actually very spacious and came with a locker and a safe which was great. There was also a towel to use which was an added bonus. The entire hostel, including the bathrooms, were very clean and tidy. The bathroom facilities were great, with separate areas to get changed which was useful. I didn’t ever have to wait to use the shower facilities. The hostel is in a great location, within a quiet square next to the basilica, within a short walk of many restaurants and shops and also close to bus routes. It felt very safe walking around here including at night. On my final day, I made use of the luggage area facility so I could still enjoy my day after checkout and not have to carry everything around. There is also a toilet and communal area to sit in after checkout, with places to charge your phone. Definitely was above expectations and would gladly stay here again!

Everything. I dont go to hostels often, so I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help on the side of the staff. Also, people staying in the hostel were very respectful in general. The location and object/building itself was great. Everything was clean. All amenities were provided and functional. Also 24/7 check-in and employees.

The lockers in the bed/dorm were just a tiny bit problematic cause they didnt lock right off the bat every time so sometimes you need to try multiple times, but that was the only thing.

Läget i den gamla delen av staden är utmärkt. I tillägg till det var personalen trevlig, faciliteterna fräscha och - framförallt - riktigt mysiga sov-kryp-in.

El hostel está muy bien ubicado. El personal muy atento. Las cápsulas súper cómodas y bien organizadas, tienen buen aislamiento y los ruidos de la habitación se escuchan poco. La limpieza es buena! Sin duda volvería.

The location and that there were private bathrooms

Bedding was dirty with hairs everywhere did not even smell clean. My fitted sheet did not fit the bed at all so I half slept on the mattress pad which who knows if that gets washed. The comforter had a cover for it that also did not fit and hairs everywhere I felt very gross when I had to go to bed. This was the biggest thing that bothered me. And very little room to move on the floor. The picture I received there was more room but the 4 bed room I got was 2 bunks across eachother and barely any room to open or store luggage. Floors were also very dirty not sure how often they clean them.

Some hostels are very isolated while others are more geared towards socializing. This hostel is definitely on the isolated side (maybe it is ok for you). You can't meet even the people staying in the same room because the beds are hub style. The common areas are also very limited. There were also some hygiene issues in certain areas, such as bathrooms. Also, the wc/bathrooms were extremely hot

Loved everything about it! The mixed dorm ended up being mostly girls and everyone was polite and quiet. The beds are so spacious with your own locker. Decent showers and bathrooms and a really great kitchen. I was able to use the facilities even after checking out which was great. Less than a 10 min walk to the bus stop or main centre

I recommend that you bring earplugs for sleeping. You might have trouble sleeping because of someone’s snoring.

You get to get your little room. The locker, light and charging spots are right beside your bed in your very special little room. It wasn't too hot even in the summertime. Location is great, walking distance. Showers aren't mixed which is great too.

Airco was broken but it was still bearable, they were trying to fix it tho. We just stayed one night

The staff was so helpful and nice. The bed was comfortable and quite big (and I am 180cm), the lockers in the room were big. I felt safe and comfortable. They clean the bathrooms and showers well. Great cafes, grocery stores, bus stops and beach nearby. 10/10 would do again!

Les points positifs : Le lieu est facile à trouver dans les rues de Palma et très bien situé, à proximité des plages et des principaux monuments de la ville. Tout est facilement accessible. La gare routière n’est pas très loin et permet également de rejoindre facilement l’aéroport. L’auberge est agréable, notamment grâce à sa salle commune. Le dortoir de 20 personnes est spacieux et climatisé. Le lit était propre et chaque lit dispose d’un matelas, d’un coussin et du linge de lit. J’ai particulièrement apprécié le placard individuel intégré au lit, qui se ferme et s’ouvre avec la carte d’accès : pas besoin de cadenas ! Deux sacs à dos rentrent facilement dans le placard. Concernant les sanitaires, il y a 2 toilettes, 5 douches et 3 cabines pour se changer, ce qui est très pratique. Le personnel est également accueillant, gentil et agréable.

Points à améliorer : La seule chose que j’ai relevée est la serrure de l’une des toilettes, qui aurait pu être réparée. À part cela, rien à redire concernant l’établissement. Concernant les autres voyageurs : Ce point ne concerne évidemment pas l’auberge, mais plutôt le savoir-vivre en dortoir. Merci de penser aux personnes qui dorment ou qui se couchent tôt (22h/23h) en évitant de faire du bruit toute la nuit, notamment en ouvrant et fermant sa valise plusieurs fois. Même chose pour les chaussures : lorsque l’on a les pieds très odorants, merci d’éviter de laisser ses chaussures sous les lits et de préférence de les mettre à l’extérieur du dortoir 😅. Et pour les personnes qui marchent en talons ou tapent très fort des pieds sur le sol en pleine nuit… pensez aux personnes qui essaient de dormir juste à côté ! Ce sont évidemment des comportements individuels qui ne remettent pas en cause la qualité de l’auberge. Globalement, je recommande cet établissement pour son emplacement, sa propreté, ses équipements et l’accueil du personnel.

This was my first time staying in a hostel, and I chose this one after reading so many great reviews. I can honestly say that I would recommend this hostel, not just hostels in general. I stayed in a four-bed mixed room, and it was very quiet and respectful. Each bed has its own curtain, which gives you a lot of privacy and makes you feel comfortable. The area is peaceful and very close to the city centre. Overall, I had a really great experience and would definitely stay here again.

Podia ter um espelho de corpo inteiro dentro do quarto. Ainda que fosse um espelho estreito. Senti falta disso. Como mulher alta, o espelho dentro do locker não me ajudava, toda vez precisava ir até o banheiro (que é fora do quarto) pra terminar de me arrumar.

Muy silencioso cuando pensé que como era una habitación de 10 camas iba a ser un desmadre y nada que ver, dormí de maravilla, todo limpio, baño sábanas habitaciones y valore al mil el aire acondicionado!

Lokalizacja w samym centrum i niedaleko przystanków autobusowych. Mimo upału, w pokojach klimatyzacja była ustawiona na przyjemne 25 stopnie. Łóżka wygodne i oferujące dużo prywatności. Łazienki regularnie czyszczone. Nie miałam okazji skorzystać z kuchni czy przestrzeni wspólnej, ale wydawały się dobrze wyposażone. Najlepszy hostel w jakim spałam.

Instalaciones súper buenas y cómodas. Me encantó el toque rústico que tiene el edificio; las habitaciones muy frescas y en tu nicho--cama tienes privacidad, enchufes, caja fuerte, perchas, lamparita,....¡Confortable al máximo! Por otro lado, agradecer el trato de los recepcionistas nocturno (argentino) y otro chico que me atendió en la mañana, llamado Yago o Gago, por su trato gentil y amistoso. Fue un lugar fabulo! 4 días fantásticos! Volveré!

The location is great. The bunk is designed ideally. The kitchen and the bathroom were available /not busy when I needed to use. The staff was friendly. The bedroom was not too noisy. It was a mixed dorm but I (female) didn’t feel uncomfortable.

I would appreciate if the bathroom area was cleaner though that may be difficult with many guests in high seasons. Bed sheets had some hair on them. There was nobody at the reception for 20min when I arrived to check in. I understand they were out for emergency but it would have been nice if they could have left a note.

Ho soggiornato in questo ostello durante il mio primo viaggio da sola a Palma di Maiorca e non avrei potuto scegliere posto migliore! ❤️ La posizione è fantastica, proprio nel pieno centro storico, perfetta per esplorare la città a piedi e vivere l’atmosfera di Palma. È stato tutto molto carino e piacevole: l’ambiente è accogliente, ho conosciuto davvero delle belle persone e, viaggiando da sola, per me è stato particolarmente importante sentirmi al sicuro. Qui mi sono sentita tranquilla e a mio agio fin dal primo momento. Un’esperienza davvero positiva, che porterò con me con tanto piacere. Consiglio assolutamente questo ostello, soprattutto a chi viaggia da solo e vuole sentirsi accolto, conoscere nuove persone e godersi Palma in un’atmosfera piacevole! 🌴✨

Único ponto ruim foi o atendimento de um recepcionista na noite da minha chegada. Cheguei durante o dia e fui muito bem recebida pela atendente desse período, mas a noite, quando me dirigi a recepção porque meu armário não estava abrindo com a TAG que foi entregue, ele foi grosseiro, dizendo que "todos dias clientes vem reclamar da tag", ficou debochando, resmungando e resetou a tag. Só não dei nota dez por causa disso.

I had a really great stay at this hostel. It's located right in the heart of the Old Town, in a beautiful square. Everything is within walking distance you'll find amazing cafés, restaurants, and everything else you might need just 5–10 minutes away. Raul and Gabo were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. They gave me great recommendations and were always available to answer any questions I had about the city. The hostel was always clean and well organized. The room had air conditioning running all day, which was a huge plus since it was very hot during my stay. One feature I really appreciated was the bathroom setup. There are dedicated shelves where you can leave your toiletries, so you don't have to carry everything back and forth from your room every time you shower or use the bathroom. Overall, these are just small suggestions for improvement. My experience was excellent, and I would definitely give this hostel a 10/10.

The only things I felt were missing were hooks or a rack in the room to hang towels or clothes we ended up hanging them on the window and a full-length mirror in the female dorm.

I absolutely loved my stay here. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and genuinely kind. The hostel was very clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. I also really appreciated how flexible they were. They kindly let me check in earlier when it was possible, and after check-out I could still use the common areas, leave my luggage safely and even take a shower before heading to the airport. Those little things made a huge difference. A special thank you to Gabo, Alex and everyone else on the team for making my stay so enjoyable. It was probably the best hostel experience I’ve ever had.

Great location and friendly staff

The room does not look like the pictures. It is in fact much smaller and darker. When we arrived, there were already 2 people staying in the 4 person room and the floor was dirty. There was also dirt on the mattress. The staff kindly cleaned that for me. The showers require an upgrade. It is very old and not comfortable to shower.

The beds are extremely private, almost feels like you have your own little room. There was so much storage space in the closet too. The beds were clean and the towels/duvet provided were very plush! The social space and kitchen were clean and well maintained. The location was great being next to two coffee shops with amazing coffee (Plumo and Notto) and a good walking distance to good food!

The bathrooms and hallways didn’t have AC, but the only place I noticed it was the bathrooms because I would be drenched in sweat right after getting clean. Palma was very humid during our stay, so that was a big factor.

The hostel first called me on my private number and then messaged me via WhatsApp because their management wanted to discuss my review. I asked them why they didn't use the official channels via Booking.com and whether they thought it was normal to contact me directly on my private number. In one of the messages, they wrote, "...and find the best solution for both of us..." All in all, a strange experience.

Die Betten bieten genug Platz und haben ein integriertes schliessbares Fach, wo man seine privaten Sachen einschliessen kann.

Die Klimaanlage ist etwas schwach, aber hat gereicht. Die Duschen sind so mittelmässig sauber, da hab ich mich nicht sehr wohl gefühlt aber es war okay.
