The location was amazing! Close to the bus stops and so many shops, including the Grand Bazaar and Spice market. The staff is amazing and so nice and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and fresh! The rooms have AC and great lighting, as well as a good size bathroom.

The building itself it old but that didn’t take away from the experience.

Preisleistung und Lage in Sultanahmet sehr gut. Frühstück war sehr in Ordnung, das Frühstückspersonal und die Reinigungskräfte sehr aufmerksam und sympathisch.

Wände sehr dünn, wurden mehrmals in der Nacht und früh morgens von lautem Knallen oder umgekippten Koffern (?) unserer Nachbarn aus dem Schlaf gerissen, dazu sind die Fenster nicht soooo super isoliert, durch die Lage aber aushaltbar. Personal war stets freundlich, allerdings auch aufdringlich wenn es um die Vermittlung von VIP-Taxis ging. Der Bitte uns zu helfen ein Taxi zum Shuttlebus zu organisieren wurde nicht nachgekommen „fährt nicht da hin“.

Abbiamo soggiornato all'Hotel Aprilis an Istanbul nella notte tra l'8 e il 9 settembre 2026 insieme alla nostra famiglia, per un totale di tre persone, e non possiamo che esprimere la nostra più sincera gratitudine. Dopo una spiacevole esperienza vissuta la notte precedente in un'altra struttura di Istanbul, siamo arrivati all'Aprilis stanchi e preoccupati. Fin dal primo momento, però, siamo stati accolti con grande professionalità, empatia e gentilezza. Un ringraziamento speciale va a Murat, che ha saputo ascoltare le nostre preoccupazioni e ci ha fatto sentire immediatamente a casa. Nonostante fossimo arrivati la mattina presto, ci è stata offerta immediatamente una sistemazione, addirittura dandoci la possibilità di scegliere tra due camere diverse, e ci è stata gentilmente offerta anche la colazione. Un gesto che abbiamo davvero apprezzato. Le camere sono molto confortevoli, perfettamente pulite e curate nei dettagli. La posizione dell'hotel è eccellente, ideale per visitare Istanbul, mentre la colazione è ricca, varia e abbondante. Durante il soggiorno abbiamo avuto un piccolo problema con il WC della camera in serata, ma il personale è intervenuto tempestivamente e il guasto è stato completamente risolto entro le 23:00. Un ulteriore esempio dell'attenzione e dell'efficienza del team. Anche il giorno della partenza Murat ci ha accolto con il suo sorriso alla reception, supportandoci nella custodia dei bagagli e persino aiutandomi con la traduzione presso un barbiere del quartiere. Sono questi piccoli gesti che fanno davvero la differenza. Consigliamo senza esitazione l'Hotel Aprilis a chiunque cerchi una struttura accogliente, pulita, ben posizionata e con uno staff che mette il cliente al centro. Grazie ancora a Murat e a tutto il team per aver trasformato un momento difficile in un bellissimo ricordo del nostro soggiorno an Istanbul.

Atendimento dos funcionarios

Prédio muito antigo, TV muito pequena e mal posicionada. Armários velhos e esfarelando. Cama muito ruim e lencol péssimo e sem lençol para cobrir, foi disponibilizada somente uma "manta" pequena, fina e velha. Passamos frio literalmente. Travesseiros também de péssima qualidade.

Hotel is clean,with a very good position, close with important touristic objectives. Easy acces to the transportation, tram ,buses and metro. The people at the desk are very profesional and I mention on special Allattin,Murat and Ismail.

I would improve the process of guest's collection from the Istanbul airport arrival area, because Istanbul Airport has terrible WIFI connection and in case of emergency or delays it's hard to understand what to do.

La posizione è ottima per la visita dei monumenti del centro della città. La camera è stata spaziosa. La colazione buona sia per il dolce che il salato. Abbiamo anche usufruito del parcheggio per l’auto una notte e del transfer dall’aeroporto ed è stato tutto efficiente

La gestione dell”aria condizionata è stata un po’ problematica per la difficoltà nell’ottenere una temperatura confortevole (troppo caldo o troppo freddo)

Camera cam micuta pt 4 persoane, dar acceptabila avand in vedere ca stateam la hotel doar sa dormim si sa ne facem dus, in rest eram plecati. Parcarea 15 euro/zi, nu zic ca e un pret mare tinand cont ca in Istanbul nu prea ai unde sa parchezi, dar corect ar fi fost sa fie gratuita pt clientii hotelului.

Posizione ottima vicino al centro ma lontano dal chiasso e dalla confusione. La colazione è buona ma potrebbe migliorare poiché la scelta del dolce era piuttosto limitata. Le camere (tripla standard e doppia standard) erano ampie, il letto molto comodo, la pulizia soddisfacente. Lo staff gentile, attento a tutte le esigenze e disponibile a dare informazioni utili. In particolare Murat, Ismail e Alattim sono stati eccezionali.

The room is a little bit small but cosy. The breakfast is good but not very diversified. The location is very good for nearing to the most popular sites and sceneries for tourists to go. Generally speaking, it is vary good for intrnational people to stay in for a while.

I loved this hotel. It was all the little touches that made me smile. The name in gold on the towels, slippers, even the plates at breakfast. It felt special. Breakfast had lots of options and made mornings easy. I felt safe, comfortable, everything was spotlessly clean. The location was unbeatable, about six minutes to the hammam, ten to the Blue Mosque, surrounded by restaurants even late at night. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful 24/7, and the housekeeping was incredibly kind. Extra towels or pillows? No problem at all. I would definitely come back. We came to shop so quickly getting to everything was perfect.

Nos alojamos 3 personas durante 7 noches y, en conjunto, la experiencia fue bastante buena. El Aprilis Gold ofrece una buena relación calidad-precio y, sobre todo, una ubicación excelente para visitar Sultanahmet a pie: la Mezquita Azul y Santa Sofía están aproximadamente a 10 minutos, Topkapi a unos 12 y el Gran Bazar también a unos 10 minutos. La parada de Çemberlitaş del tranvía T1 está a unos 5 minutos, lo que facilita mucho los desplazamientos a otras zonas. Para llegar a ella hay que subir una cuesta, pero es corta. En las inmediaciones hay restaurantes, pubs, supermercados y farmacias. El edificio está en buen estado y, aunque la decoración puede resultar algo anticuada, en general las instalaciones están bien cuidadas. El personal fue amable y el check-in y el check-out fueron rápidos y sencillos, sin depósitos ni cargos inesperados. También agradecimos que el personal subiese nuestro equipaje a la llegada y que, cuando cambiamos de habitación, ellos mismos trasladasen las maletas. Tras un problema con la habitación de la primera noche, al día siguiente nos dieron la habitación triple que habíamos reservado, más amplia y suficientemente cómoda para tres personas, con cama doble, cama individual y sofá. Habíamos pedido que este último no se preparase como cama y respetaron nuestra petición. Las camas eran cómodas y había varias almohadas adicionales de diferente altura y firmeza. El armario tenía un tamaño adecuado y seis perchas. La habitación tenía bastantes enchufes, a ambos lados de la cama, en el escritorio, junto al sofá, sobre el minibar y en el baño. Disponía además de minibar, caja fuerte, hervidor, tazas y té e infusiones, zapatillas y televisión por satélite. Tenía dos grandes ventanales en esquina. El cuarto de baño era amplio, limpio y cómodo, con buena presión de agua, agua caliente y fría sin problemas y ducha tanto de mano como tipo lluvia. Había jabón, champú y acondicionador en dosificadores.

El principal aspecto negativo fue la habitación de la primera noche. Habíamos reservado expresamente una triple con cama doble, cama individual y sofá y, antes de llegar, incluso habíamos contactado con el hotel para confirmar esta distribución. Sin embargo, nos asignaron una doble con cama doble y sofá cama, que no resultaba demasiado cómodo. En cualquier caso, al día siguiente solicitamos el cambio y no pusieron ningún problema: cuando regresamos por la tarde, la habitación triple correcta estaba preparada y el personal había trasladado nuestro equipaje, por lo que la incidencia quedó perfectamente resuelta. Como cuestiones menores, una de las lámparas de lectura de la cama doble no funcionaba y el secador se estropeó durante la estancia. También nos llamó la atención que las camas no tuvieran sábana encimera, sino únicamente una colcha ligera. Posteriormente descubrimos que parece ser una costumbre bastante habitual en Turquía, más que algo particular del hotel. Por último, da una imagen poco profesional que varios miembros del personal del hotel estuviesen en algunos momentos sentados charlando en los sofás de recepción. Son, en cualquier caso, aspectos menores que no empañaron una estancia globalmente satisfactoria.

Suitable for people looking for a quiet place for 2-3 nights, close to the center, two minutes walk from the light rail and 7 minutes walk from the sea.

La struttura si trova in una posizione davvero centrale, ideale per visitare comodamente le principali attrazioni di Istanbul. Il personale è stato molto accogliente, gentile e disponibile durante tutto il soggiorno. La stanza era molto pulita e ben tenuta.

Sono celiaca e, prima di effettuare la prenotazione, avevo contattato la struttura per assicurarmi che fosse disponibile un’opzione senza glutine per la colazione. Mi era stato confermato che ci sarebbe stata e, anche qualche giorno prima della partenza, avevo nuovamente scritto per avere una conferma, che mi è stata nuovamente data. Al momento del check-in ho chiesto ancora una volta e mi è stato confermato che avrebbero provveduto. Tuttavia, il giorno della prima colazione non era disponibile assolutamente nulla senza glutine. Purtroppo, anche nei giorni successivi, nonostante avessi fatto presente nuovamente il problema, non si sono adoperati per trovare una soluzione. Per una persona celiaca, soprattutto dopo aver ricevuto più volte precise rassicurazioni prima del soggiorno, è stata una situazione molto spiacevole e deludente.

The hotel is close to the main attractions, with just a few minutes (10-15mins) walk. There are loads of shops and restaurants around, even mini groceries. The staff are very welcoming, helpful, and accomodating. Always greets us every chance they get. I would also like to point out that we were allocated to a room that was closest to the reception, and where all people pass by as it was the first room on that floor. We expressed our concerns during check in that it is noisy, and the staff offered to allocate us a room at their sister hotel next to them. And when we still did not like the option as it was a bit small, they offered to move us on the 5th floor, where the room is enough for 3 people, and is a lot bigger compared to the first one we had. They helped us move and we never felt we were such a burden. Absolutely great customer service! Thank you to all the staff.

The rooms are decent but you don't get much space in the room, so consider that when booking.

Everything was great! We moved the first night to a quieter room away from the street. Everyone was so accommodating and nice. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Very close to everything and we walked everywhere. Would recommend and stay here again.

La habitación y el l baño la ducha tenía mucha presión de agua era espectacular. La habitación era enorme y era toda externa.

Mi smo bilo kolima garaza je bila udaljena 2 min hoda. Momci na recepciji uvjek tu da pomognu oko svega.

Our family of three had such a lovely stay at Aprilis Gold Hotel. Traveling with a child can be challenging, but the staff made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived and until we checked out. They were constantly in contact with us even before our arrival. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was good and the location was perfect for exploring Istanbul on foot. It is also very near to the train. A lot of restaurants, shops and fast foods are also within the area. Thank you for making our family trip even more memorable—we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to other families. Special shout out to Murad and Alaa for the great service!

Очень вежливый и активный персонал. Консультировали по вопросам прогулок по городу. Помогли с вещами. Убирались быстро и своевременно. Не стали заморачиваться с оплатой чашки кофе и бутылочки воды - у нас на руках не было мелочи, они нам простили эти расходы. Завтрак хорош. Все свежее и вкусное. Божественным был сыр, которого много сортов, и он очень свежий (но сразу оговорюсь, это сыр типа чечила и подобные ему, а не пармезан). Ну и, конечно, расположение. В 10 минутах ходьбы и рестораны, и достопримечательности. Отель очень хорош!

The Staff were very helpful. They arranged a tour and transport for us , and we were very happy with those arrangements. The rooms are a good size, and the breakfast was also good. Located in the Old town, major attractions are within walking distance, There are also shops and restaurants close by.

Clean and comfortable. It quickly became a home away from home. Excellent location in Sultanamet. Loved the room(s) and the little extras (slippers, robe). Staff were friendly but not imposing. Sister hotel has a great rooftop bar where you can relax and enjoy the vibe.

Coffee machine was out-of-order. But we found a cafe within 4 min walking distance.

La habitación compartida con dos baños es muy amplia , cómoda y actualizada . El desayuno muy bueno sobre todo el café . El personal muy atento y servicial , la zona tiene cerca restaurantes y tiendas .

La ubicación no es mala pero hay que subir cuestas para llegar a la calle principal pero son pocos metros . La entrada del hotel no da la imagen de un hotel de 4 estrellas .

Небольшой выбор на завтраке. Wi-Fi нужно было заново подключать каждый день. Узкая кровать. Отель на возвышенности, возвращаться после прогулки всегда в горку. Номер маленький, но впрочем в центре почти все отели такие.

The hotel is old. The room had a worn look. You can tell it hasn't been updated in decades. Unfortunately, there was also demolition going on next door, so there was constant banging from morning to late evening.

L'Hotel è piccolo, non molte camere, e molto pulito. La sua posizione è molto buona per visitare le grandi Moschee (Hagia Sofia e Moscea Blu). Molto vicino anche al Palazzo di TopKapi e alla Basilica Cisterna. Molto molto vicino al Gran Bazar. Molto comoda anche la vicinanza alla metro che permette di collegarsi bene e velocemente a tutta la città. Noi abbiamo usato tantissimo la metro visitando Balat, Fener, Karakoi, Galata. Con la metro ci siamo anche velocemente collegati al porto di Eminonu dal quale abbiamo preso i traghetti per la parte asiatica (Uskudar e Kadikoi). Veramente comodo. Il personale dell’Hotel è gentilissimo e offre sempre ottimi consigli per il soggiorno. Un particolare ringraziamento a Tarik che è stato particolarmente gentile e disponibile per organizzarci tutti i trasferimenti e la crociera sul Bosforo. Stuttura molto molto consigliata!

La colazione è buona, ma migliorerei un po' la disponibilità di cibo internazionale. La parte turca è ottima. La macchina del caffè era rotta ed avrebbe fatto molto comodo... :)

-la micul dejun nu am avut cafea pentru ca era defect aparatul ( 3 zile). Ni s-au oferit dosr niste plicuri de cafea in schimb - serviciul de transfer rezervat prin hotel a fost necorespunzător: mașinile nu aveau conturi de siguranță conforme iar șoferul de la întoarcere a scris mesaje tot drumul

Местиположение на хотела! Отношението и чистотата. Кафемашината в хотела се развали, но те бяха достатъчно любезни, като ни правеха турско кафе без заплащане. Освен това пристигнахме преди указания час и ни беше предоставена възможност да се настаним в стая, която ни харесва и да закусим без да имаме закуска в цената.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Aprilis Gold Hotel. The staff were very kind and attentive, the room was clean and the breakfast was lovely. The location of this hotel is great, near to all of the attractions and yet in a nice, quiet area. We would love to return one day!

The location was within walking distance of the major sites in Sultanahmet. Trans to elsewhere were a short walk. The staff were attentive.

There is no light above the sink, so it was hard to see what I was doing at times. The breakfast seems to be mostly Middle Eastern type foods, but the yogurt and cereal made it acceptable.

Quite congested and in a hilly area.

The main thing is location, this hotel is perfect for the old town and most sights. Comfy room, quiet with everything you need in it if a little basic. Felt really relaxed in it. Breakfast is great and plenty of it and the staff are fantastic and could not be more helpful.

The hotel lacks a bit of "wow" factor and looks quite basic when you arrive but once in your room its fine. We had a couple of tiny issues with our room but all were fixed instantly with no drama at all by the great staff.

Excellent hotel, very helpful and friendly staff. they recommended a good restaurant and took us there. you can get everywhere on the T1 tram which you can catch up the road or if you prefer walk to the Blue Mosque in ten minutes. The room was comfortable and clean and very quiet at night. Breakfast was good with a reasonable choice. We would happily stay there again.
