Reviewed Sep 12, 2025We made our own breakfast. nice to have a good selection of drinks, tea and coffee etc. There was cheese and crackers and wine also, but as we were late in we did not partake. Nice to have Tvs in each room as well.
We could not have asked for anything else, everything suited us perfectly.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2025It was perfect for what we needed. My little family of 5 were upstairs and we had the kitchen which was well equipped. We were also blessed with some treats that my kids loved. My kids loved the dog was very friendly. Another family of 4 stayed downstairs and they loved it the rooms were spacious. Would definitely stay again :)

This property says three bedrooms. Two rooms are under the top floor, access ONLY by outside stairs. Not a place for older relatives or young children to stay. Maybe I didn't read that before booking but gutted that my elderly mother was not on the same floor.

It was weird that the only way to the second story was via exterior stairs. However this is a non issue and I just wanted to provide feedback.

Reviewed Dec 19, 2024It’s about 30 mins drive from Hobbiton, and 15mins away from town. The house was perfect for the 5 of us. It’s clean and comfortable. And the family dog was so friendly , welcoming us on our first day.

Reviewed May 5, 2024Great place for a relaxing hang out. We were travelling from the wairarapa to the Auckland airport, so chose to stay here on the way to be close to the airport. Perfect for this. Nice and comfortable and slept all 6 of us without problems. Easy communication and just all-round perfect for us. Will definitely stay again
