Close by and easy to get to. Very clean and convenient to grocery and restaurants. Amazing hospitality and help in trip planning. Convenient to Hamilton Gardens and Waitomo Caves. Plan an additional day to explore Cambridge. Hosts had thought of everything including plug adapter and nightlight in bathroom and nice outdoor space. Quiet and Nice snacks and breakfast items.

I loved everything about the place, the hosts were lovely and welcoming and I felt right at home. I was well rested for my remaining drive .

The sheets smelled heavenly, everything I needed was there. Loved having breakfast available and a cute patio to eat it on. The hostesses went above and beyond for me!

Location was great, close to everything Cambridge has to offer. The owners were so lovely and helpful. The bed was very comfortable.

Penny’s B&B könnte auch einem skandinavischen Stilbuch für schönes Wohnen entsprungen sein. Doch es ist nicht nur einfach wunderschön, sondern auch gut gelegen, ruhig und auch sehr praktisch mit Tee, Kaffee, Milch und verschiedenen Müslis ausgestattet. Es fehlt an nichts und die Gastgeber waren sehr bemüht, uns jeglichen Komfort zu bereiten und auch die Restaurant-Tips waren sehr hilfreich. Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt und sehr gut geschlafen.

Lovely and charming apartment which was spotless and very neat. Good size bathroom. Very friendly hosts. Comfortable bed and pillows. Was nice to have a couch to sit on. Tidy kitchenette with everything required for breakfast. There is no kitchen sink but dirty cutlery is replaced by the host. Very good value for money. There is a dairy and a coffee shop within easy walking distance. The town centre is about a 30min walk.

The street in front of the house had more traffic during the morning than expected, but for the rest of the time it was nice and quiet.

Absolutely everything you could possibly need with great hosts. Everything was immaculate and exceedingly well presented. The bed was really comfy and a bonus…a big, full length mirror!

Penny and Laurie are fantastic hosts! They are so knowledgeable about the local scene, can give you plenty of reccos and are extremely friendly. You might end up spending all your time in Cambridge just chatting away with these two! The accommodation is wonderful, feels like you're at home. As a little town, Cambridge is charming and provides plenty of restaurant options. You cannot go wrong staying here!

We were welcomed by Penny who showed us our accommodation. It was spotless and beautifully decorated plus it had everything we needed for our stay. Sadly we were only staying one night but would definitely stay again

From the welcome upon arrival, conviviality during my stay, t'was an exemplary while shared in both accommodation and occasional inviting company of the host couple. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for Solo/Couples, Extremely Comfortable Pristine Accommodation, Nutritious Breakfast ~ I shall for sure return...

IT WAS NEAR PERFECT FOR US IN TERMS OF LOCATION.

THE ONLY THING THAT COULD POSSIBLEY BE IMPROVED IS THE HOT WATER PRESSURE IN TNE SHOWER, FOR US.

Penny and Laurie were exceptional hosts. We arrived exhausted, hours late, driving down from Auckland Airport, being stuck in a traffic jam, nil visibility from pouring rain, hail and thunderstorms, to a lovely warm reception on such a cold dark night. Their kindness and warmth, we will never forget. Their years of experience managing/owning holiday accommodation/guest apartments shone thru, having an exceptional eye for detail and perfection. Everything you needed plus more. Fabulous breakfast in a well-equipped kitchenette. Having travelled worldwide for more than 50 years, this would rate as one of my best stays ever. It was comfortable, sparkling clean and warm. The pillows and bed were soft but supportive and the bathroom had an excellent shower. Breakfast choices were ample (loved the wee breakfast nook!) and catered for various dietary needs. Wifi was fast. We ate where our hosts recommended and had a most enjoyable meal. Parking was off street and safe.

Absolutely lovely hosts, and a gorgeous little B&B! Such a wonderful little haven, so glad we found it. Spotlessly clean, beautiful room with large bathroom and mini kitchenette containing fridge, toaster, jug, MW, tea, plunger coffee and a range of cereals for breakfast. Chocolates and cookies on arrival were an added extra touch and much appreciated. Hosts were very friendly and helpful with local knowledge and advice on what to see nearby. Highly recommend!!

Penny and Laurie were excellent hosts, the room was very tidy and had all the necessary appliances. Fresh seasonal fruit provided was a bonus. Parking on their driveway felt safer than parking on the street. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Jenny and her husband were great! Bed was comfy and everything was clean. They actually iron the sheets! The bedding was great.

It’s cozy, attached to the main living area with a different entrance off the front door. Privacy might be an issue if you want to talk loud or might feel bad for making noise.
