Kaikesta, mikä liittyi tähän majoitukseen ja sen omistajaan. Huoneisto, jossa jouduimme viettämään vuorokauden, ei vastannut lainkaan sitä, mitä kuvauksessa ja valokuvissa oli luvattu. Ensinnäkään huoneistoa ei ollut siivottu ennen saapumistamme. Siellä oli todella likaista: tyhjiä alkoholipulloja, kasaan jätettyjä likaisia vuodevaatteita ja pyyhkeitä, petaamattomia sänkyjä sekä tyhjentämättömiä roskia. Kaikkialla oli sotkuista ja pölyä oli niin paksu kerros, että siihen olisi voinut kirjoittaa sormella. Soitettuamme huoneiston omistajalle paikalle tuli siivouspalvelu, mutta siivouksen jälkeenkään lika ja sotku eivät hävinneet. Tämän jälkeen omistaja lupasi noin kolmen kuukauden ajan palauttaa osan maksusta ja hyvittää aiheutuneen haitan. Mitään ei kuitenkaan tapahtunut, eikä hän ole viimeiseen kahteen kuukauteen enää vastannut. En suosittele tätä paikkaa kenellekään. Pihalla paikalla, jossa pitäisi olla grillipaikka, rakennustyöt ovat edelleen kesken, ja ympärillä on likaa ja pölyä.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026Spotless, modern apartment, well equipped, nothing is missing except perhaps a clothes drying rack. It's spacious and comfortable. The communication with the owner is quick and he sent people when it seemed uneasy to solve the problem remotely.
There is a nice view from the living room window but the apartment is a ground floor and the cars of the residence passing by don't really let the possibility of keeping the curtains wide open.

Vous cherchez un endroit bien situé à Kirkenes autant pour vous balader que vous reposez en appréciant la vue? Vous l’avez trouvé! Un appartement spacieux, très bien équipé dans un cadre calme, le tout géré par des hôtes attentionnés et aux petits soins. Je n’ai rien à ajouter si ce n’est que la literie est splendide.
Ne pas être resté plus longtemps pour profiter de ce superbe hébergement.

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026Tutto, dai sorrisi della proprietaria all' appartamento spettacolare con vista molto bella. Unica cosa eravamo in 4 e nella cucina ci sono solo 2 sedie ma abbiamo facilmente risolto quindi non è stato un problema.

No one told us this was not a hotel but an AirB&B. The location is terrible - way up on a tight hill slope where the bus carrying our luggage couldn't even access! it's 25mins walk to the town of Kirkenes, which only had 7 taxis!!! And we didn't rent a car, and were only staying one night. Lucky the cleaner, Kristian, was there, and he offered to take us to town for lunch. It was very good of him...we couldn't thank him enough. Next day, we had to book a van at 800KR to take us to the airport. We wished we had stayed at Thon Hotel, right in the middle of town instead.

Reviewed Jun 18, 2026Stille og fint område. Nært nok sentrum. Pen leilighet, moderne og koselig. Stor god seng. Bra TV og WiFI. Fin kaffemaskin. Tok meg to kaffe.
Noen ting jeg savnet siden jeg kom inn etter at butikkene hadde stengt. Pasta sil (slag). Ketchup, sennep og evt noe mer krydder. Nudler og pasta hadde vært kjekt. Te, mineralvann og kakao bør også kunne tilbys. Legg inn NrK og TV 2 på app-menyen (la inn NrK, tror jeg) (husk din bruker på TV3, TV2, osv). Så om dere kommer sent, ta med kveldsmat og frokost dere ønsker.

Reviewed Jun 9, 2026Sehr modernes Quartier - modernst eingerichtet mit exzellentem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Geräte sind absolut neuwertig. Die Elektrik ist ebenfalls sehr modern - allerdings ohne Einschulung nicht einfach. Vorschlag: Den Zentralschalter beschriften wäre hilfreich gewesen. Das Check-in-Prozedere war sehr einfach. Wir durften sogar bereits um 11.30 Uhr unser Gepäck im Apartment abstellen - der Vermieter war hier sehr großzügig und unkompliziert!
Die Ausstattung mit Besteck, Weingläsern und Tellern könnte etwas großzügiger sein. Wir waren zu dritt - allerdings gibt es nur 1 Weinglas und 1 Sektglas. Das war aber für uns nur nebensächlich. Wir haben es insgesamt sehr genossen.

Larm fra overboen, det lød som rundsav som blev arbejdet med til over kl.1 om natten. Byggeplads udenfor hoveddøren. De gjorde meget ud af at fortælle at alt skulle være rent og pænt ved afleveringen som det også skal, men så burde de også sørge for at rense stor plet på den ene stol, man havde ikke lyst til at sætte sig. Lænestolen var fyldt med hår. Der var kun 1 vinglas.

Reviewed May 29, 2026The bed was soooo comfortable! Black out curtains helped to maintain darkness during the midnight sun, and made it easier to settle in for the night. Walked in to a warm and clean apartment with great wifi, two TVs for sound and really lovely atmosphere.
Renovations happening during my stay with the path to door being gravel. A little disruptive but didn’t deter from the fact that this was a great place to stay. I was also a bit confused about the lighting and heating switches - potentially user error hahahahah

Il manque un peu d'éléments dans la cuisine (passoire, éponge notamment) et c’est compliqué de comprendre le fonctionnement des lumières (avec un bouton qui allume tout, attention!).

Reviewed May 11, 2026The unit was very clean and quiet and felt like new inside. Had all the comforts of home even a cozy recliner and great tv's. Bed was also comfortable and shower had wonderful hot water and great pressure too. Was maybe 20 min from grocery store and 25 from cruise terminal both down the hill. All in all I felt it was a great stay. Owner communicated well.

Lite svag belysning för läsning när man är äldre. Saknade vanlig kaffebryggare för att kunna fylla på utflyktstermos. Lite mörka väggar för min smak, men det syns ju på bilderna.

Reviewed Apr 19, 2026Mooie ligging. De communicatie met de host was vlot en heel responsief. Het huisje heeft een hoogwaardige uitrusting.
We boekten met vijf personen maar eigenlijk is dit er niet op voorzien. Er zijn maar drie stoelen en geen tafel om samen aan te eten. Ook werden er maar voor drie personen een handdoekenpakket voorzien. De foto's zijn van acrtic suite 2. Bij 1 is er geen terras of mogelijkheid om buiten te zitten inbegrepen.

Reviewed Mar 21, 2026Lovely apartment close to town and the ferry terminal. Host was super accommodating our early arrival and was able to gain access to leave our luggage. The apartment itself was modern and very recently renovated with full cooking facilities including cookware/utensils/etc. Spacious, clean and just like the pictures. Thoroughly recommend this for both a short or long stay.
This is minor and at no fault to the property however the road and driveway up to the property is relatively steep and very slippery when icy. Our taxi was able to get up to the property because it was all wheel drive, however the mini bus that dropped us the next day couldn't get up there. Only an issue if there's ice.

Stein Erik and Marte are fantastic hosts who provided very detailed and clear check-in instructions, making our arrival seamless. We were so impressed by the professional level of cleaning and the overall quality of the inventory. The location is quiet and peaceful, yet very convenient. We also really appreciated the fast WiFi and the comfortable atmosphere. It’s easily a 100% recommendation from us—we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Das Appartment befindet sich auf einem Berg. Wenn man ins Geschäft zu Fuß gehen will, muss man die Straße runtergehen und danach mit den Taschen wieder bergauf.

Reviewed Jan 7, 2026La posizione è splendida, l'appartamento è ben curato ed ha tutte le dotazioni necessarie per un soggiorno con la famiglia. Il proprietario ha sempre risposto molto velocemente e con grande gentilezza a nostre richieste non preventivamente concordate (anticipo del check in per consentire il deposito dei bagagli). Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.
Non migliorerei nulla perchè è ottimo così. Purtroppo l'appartamento è un po' distante dal centro e richiede, soprattutto in inverno, l'utilizzo di un taxi per raggiungerlo ma il problema è compensato da un ottima posizione e da una grande tranquillità.

O 2° quarto é muito pequeno e dá apenas para 1 pessoa. Ao chegar comunicaram-nos várias regras que não tinham sido ditas antes, tais como, ter que remover toda a roupa da cama e toalhas antes de sair e empilhar ordenadamente na casa de banho, lavar bem toda a loiça usada, colocar o lixo nos contentores de rua adequados, enfim, quase fazer a faxina da casa, sob pena de nos ser cobrados valores extra. Se essas fossem as condições iniciais antes de reservar tudo bem, mas só nos foi comunicado à chegada quando já não podíamos marcar noutro alojamento.

The apartment is fully modernized well outfitted for preparing meals and comfortably furnished. The owners responded promptly to questions about transport and even booked a taxi for me. They are very kind and thoughtful.

Reviewed Oct 11, 2025Good location, warm and cozy apartment, good wifi. Nice sofa and rocking chair. Cutlery, microwave and regular oven, cups and plates, pans and towels, soap and zalo - good to have that when you want to make your own dinner.
The bed was too soft, creaky, and hot. The door knob in the bathroom was very close to the door frame, so it was uncomfortable to turn. Some of the lights over the kichen counter were flickering.
