Reviewed Sep 16, 2026The SAGA Overnatting is walking distance from the ferry port and a private apartment. It had all the parts one might need. The washer malfunctioned and the owners did laundry for me until a new washer is purchased. They were very responsive to messages about this.
It did not bother me but there was a little noise from a set of stairs in their living quarters, but absolutely no road noise so I thought all was fair.

Reviewed Sep 10, 2026The kitchen was well equiped also if you wanted to make a salad or cut bread. Dishwasher made washing up easy. Also the shower had proper water pressure and was well temperatured!
Everything was great! Absolutely no complaints. Can only recommend.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026The location was great, close to the town and easy to walk from. Supermarket was close by too. Beds were very comfortable. The accommodation and the bathroom were very clean with a lovely hot shower. There were towels provided also.
Arrived and had to call the host about accessing the property, it seems there was no lockbox as the property was not locked and the key was in the door. It was a simple lock and didn't feel very secure. Also, the property internally seems to have many doors, all locked and a stairs that goes up to another floor with a locked door. This was a little concerning as it felt the property could be accessed internally by other parties and at times it sounded as though someone was coming down the stairs, although no one did. Additionally the person we did speak with about accessing the property had limited English, we arrived about 10pm and were told the supermarket was open until 11pm. When we checked it was closed and no restaurants or takeaways were open. So the first night we were hungry :) Of course that's not the hosts fault but it is tricky if you arrive a little late so sharing for information.

Reviewed Jul 2, 2026erg armoedige plek, ook al was het voor 2 nachten.Er was een bed, maar pff, van de kringloop misschien?? De eigenaar die vlak bij woont was er niet, later kwam er een kind met de sleutel. eigenlijk was het een plek met 2 gast kamers en gedeeld sanitair, maar omdat ik er gelukkig alleen was hoefde ik dat niet te delen. Uitzicht op tuin..betekende een vierkante meter vies en rommelig grasje aan de zijkant.

Het appartement is feitelijk de benedenverdieping van de woning. Door de houtbouw hoor je wat geluiden van boven. Maar geenszins hinderlijk.

Ainoastaan kylpyhuone näytti käyttökelpoiselta. Kohde liikennöidyn tien vieressä. Siivous oli jätetty vain kävelyalueille. Yöpöytää siirrettäessä alta paljastui reilusti pölyä ja jotain liikkuvaa. Tarkemmin tarkasteltuna ötökät olivat turkiskuoriaisia. Tämän havaittuamme pakkasimme tavarat ja siirryimme lähialueen hotelliin. Jos et halua saada "matkakumppaneita" niin vältä tätä paikkaa.

Reviewed May 14, 2026Lovely owners that were very helpful. They went above and beyond hosting Tanasis even drove me to the Ice Hotel (for an agreed fee) as I asked if he could if he were free. This made it very easy on my short stay there. Note to some, the owners do live upstairs, so you can hear them moving around as you would expect from a wooden floor. Very close to the Hurtigruten.

Veldig lytt. Mye løping i trappen i huset. Høres veldig godt. Mye lys ovenfra. Saga gav beskjed ved innsjekk om dette. Gikk fint. Stille kveld, og vi sov godt hele natten.

Reviewed Apr 1, 2026le studio est propre, pratique car près du quai Hurtigruten et fonctionnel...cependant je ne suis pas aussi enthousiaste qu'un certain nombre de commentaires qui m'ont d'ailleurs poussé à choisir ce logement pour deux nuits je ne dirais pas que le logement est cosy, il s'agit d'une pièce aménagée sous le logement des propriétaires, sans vue.
la qualité de la literie (matelas peu epais sur un sommier ressort le manque de vue la mauvaise insonorisation qui fait que l'on entend les proprietaires marcher et que l'on a même parfois l'impression quils sont dans la piece, c'est tres genant le placard a vetement sans porte juste a cote des plaques de cuisson

Host and family upstairs walk very loud, all the time, even when they talk, we can hear everything. Room floor is not clean with some sand / gravel. The steps from bedroom to bathroom is extremely cold. It was raining / snowing and porch roof is leaking. No dry space before entering the room.
