Hanoi Ben's Apartment and Hotel

The place is situated almost at the end of the alley, which makes it pretty interesting. The interior design is cozy and the room is clean and well-lit.

There is a small kitchen and a couch at the front, which makes it ideal for tasting your tea or coffee in the morning or snacking on food late at night.

Kamer was groot en proper en prijs kwaliteit was het in orde.

Sommige foto op de website komt niet overeen met de werkelijkheid, Op de beschrijving kijk je uit op een binnenkoer, maar eigenlijk kom je aan in een smalle steeg en zijn er twee faciliteiten. Als je in de donker aankomt in een donkere steeg en helemaal naar achteren moet, is dat verschieten.

Accommodation

The value is good, the place is nice and clean. It's definitely amongst the local area and not touristy which is the feel that I wanted.

It's down an alleyway which could be a little tough to find if you don't know the area.

La réactivité du personnel , l’accueil autonome est un plus quand on arrive tard et l’hôtel situé dans une ruelle étroite de la ville d’Hanoi ce qui donne du charme a l’hôtel .

Rien de particulier , mise à part l’explication pour mettre le code j’ai un peu galéré avant de pouvoir mettre le code . Ça mérite plus d’explications en image par exemple.

The host was very friendly. When I accidentally went to the wrong address, he came there and helped transport all of our luggage to the correct location. The room was clean, and the elevator made access very convenient.

Đây là apartment giống như homestay thì đúng hơn. Hành lang đầy mùi thuốc lá. Phòng thiết kế khá chật. Không có bãi đỗ xe như trong mô tả ở phần giới thiệu. Lúc đầu mình đặt thì địa chỉ báo là ở phố Trần Xuân Soạn và có onsite parking nhưng khi mình đến thì không có chỗ đỗ xe nên nhân viên chủ động đổi sang phố Thi Sách. Xe đươc đỗ ngoài đường đến buổi sáng thì bảo vệ ở đó không cho đỗ xe nữa hoặc phải trả phí đỗ xe

bella spaziosa, si vede che è una struttura nuova. a disposizione set cortesia, cucina nuova, disponibile acqua depurata potabile dove si potevano riempire le borracce/cucinare. era disponibile tutte le mattine servizio di pulizia della camera. staff non parlava inglese ma davvero disponibile.

le lenzuola del letto erano macchiate, il bagno non avendo un box allagava tutto

La vue qui donne sur un mur. Il me semble avoir réservé pour une vue sur la ville; ce n’est pas ce que j’ai eu. Dans l’ensemble, c’était bien.

Clean room, quiet area, close to the shop and restaurants. Very comfortable beds . There was no receptionist at the hotel, but the staff answered quickly by whatsapp or mobile. I will come back.

J’ai aimé son emplacement, près des sites d’intérêt. La literie est de qualité. Le lit et les oreillers sont très confortables. La cuisinette fort bien équipée.

The owner changed the hotel we booked to another one of his own. The hotel was not like the one promised. It was much smaller and horrible for the same price.

J’ai adoré l’appartement : il est très spacieux et confortable. Il dispose également d’une petite terrasse, ce qui est très agréable. Il y a beaucoup de rangements, ainsi qu’une petite cuisine et un coin salon. La salle de bain est elle aussi très fonctionnelle. Le logement est idéalement situé dans une petite ruelle. Il n’est pas totalement à l’abri du bruit, mais cela reste tout à fait acceptable, même pour ceux qui se lèvent tard. Il est situé à environ 15 minutes à pied du vieux quartier, et à proximité immédiate, on trouve de nombreux restaurants, supermarchés, bars, clubs et une pharmacie. Enfin, un service de linge et de transport est également proposé si besoin. Je recommande vivement ce logement

Séjour agréable avec un chambre propre. Bon emplacement. Hôte très gentil.

Cuisine mais avec très peu d’ustensiles pour cuisiner (pas de passoire, pas de torchon, pas de couverts, pas de cuillère en bois). Le wifi ne fonctionnait pas.

Inside hotel everything is top-notch for the price. Very clean and well maintained equipments .

It was cheap and clean

It felt very shady. How we got the passcode; the woman who showed us the room; the communication; it just felt very weird. The balcony door was broken and we couldn‘t close it.

Tout était très bien mais la vue sur ville est en fait une vue sur un mur. Il faut être tout en haut pour avoir la vue sur la ville . Le personnel est très bien et serviable . L eau pour la douche est très chaude et lit confortable.

the room was lovely, good amount of space and useful amenities and kitchen appliances. great location, easy to find, really really helpful staff. the locals were also super kind and helped us find the apartment. bus stops very close by.

the room is decent with the balcony

the owner was unresponsive, I lost my charger in the place but he wasn't responsive in returning it. The blanket was dirty, the sink was leaking. Also, they gave me a different room (double twin beds instead of one queen bed) compared to what I booked without telling me beforehand. The location was also in a deep smelly alley.

Image des chambres non réel. Pas d’accueil à notre arrivée. On a dû attendre 3 h pour avoir notre chambre qui n’était pas très propre.

This is a spacious apartment with good facilities. It’s kept really clean and there’s good communication with the owner. The location is probably the best part - a short walk into the centre yet in a quiet spot.

Velmi mila a usluzna domaca. Izba bola mensia ale uplne stacilo,lebo cely den sme boli vonku. Postel velmi pohodlna, krasne ciste povliecky, prijemne sa spalo. K dispozicii bola aj kuchynka,my sme ju nevyzili. Poloha velmi dobra na prehliadku Hanoia. Zostali sme 2 noci. Odpprucam.

The property was in a good location and had everything you would want for a few days in Hanoi.

Responsive and available staff. Late check-in. Ok location. Very nice motorbike for rent, easy to do so too. Ok bed.

The room was definitely humid. Hot water was not consistent. The lighting in the room was not very warm or cozy, and it didn't have a soft lighting setting to relax, just a strong one. The balcony area was shady and not inviting, never felt like stepping into it.

Świetne rozwiązanie dla kogoś kto chce zostać na parę dni w Hanoi. Są to pokoje/studia z aneksem kuchennym (wyposażonym we wszystko co potrzebne aby przygotować sobie jedzenie). Czysto, jak nowe. Położenie - blisko centrum. Można mieć mały problem z odnalezieniem wejścia do hotelu bo znajduje się w małej uliczce. SUPER opcją zakwaterowania w Hanoi. Jeśli będę jeszcze raz w tym mieście to z pewnością skorzystam z tego hotelu.

Der Kontakt und die Verständigung mit dem Vermieter war super.

Das Zimmer sah leider nicht so aus wie auf den Fotos. Wir hatten ein Appartement im Erdgeschoss und die Fenster, die zwar da waren, zeigten Ausblick auf eine 10 cm davon entfernte Wand zu allen Seiten. Dadurch gab es auch so gut wie kein Tageslicht in dem Zimmer.

The owner was quick to send someone to check us in even though we came late due to flight delay

The beddings were still damped when we receive the room. The bathroom wasn't completely done remodeling.

The rooms were clean but stinking of seweage

Wifi, walkable to Hoan Kiem area where some of the attractions are.

Bathroom ceiling light was not installed all the way, left the ceiling open. Mattress cover was damped and smelled.

Checkin was very slow. 1 bed in a 2 bed room was not made at all. I was very firmly told that the balcony MUST NOT BE ACCESSED. I was also charged more than the agreed rate without explanation.

I liked that the room was big and spacious and was very well equipped with a big fridge , TV , heater , stove etc . Excellent facilities. Room was tidied daily although I am not sure if it's thoroughly clean . The price was very reasonable and the showers were great . I had the room on the 7th floor at the roof top . Staff was very responsive and they also provide laundry service at a very good price too . I also liked the cute cafe below the hotel next door with very friendly and helpful staff

I was quite disturbed to have found some eggs from insects or seeds on the sofa after I removed the sofa pillows and it was disgusting looking . I immediately texted the staff to come clean it . After that I returned to check it , it was gone but then I flip over the other side of the sofa and saw those eggs/seeds again which means they didn't clean the whole sofa properly. Thus it makes me wonder the level of hygenie in the room . The room can also be quite noisy as it is not sound proof and can hear pple talking or walking pass clearly . If it rains , it gets really noisy as the room is at the roof top area .. I hope they can improve on these points .

The apartments are located in a small street away from traffic, which is worth a lot in the noisy and busy city of Hanoi. The bus stop is very close to the apartment.

Whenever we had food in the apartment, even in sealed bags, tiny ants would come in large numbers to eat it. The pictures do not correspond to reality at all. We had the strong impression that the same passcode is used repeatedly throughout the property, which lowers the security. The windows let noise through, when there is noise in the small street.

Nous avons été logés dans une autre chambre, à 200 m de celle prévue initialement, suite à un problème d’eau. Bien situé pour visiter Hanoi (environ 15 mn à pied du lac Hoan Kiem). Immeuble dans une petite allée, au calme. Très propre. Rien à redire. Communication en anglais via Whatsapp très facile, propriétaire très réactif.

Rien excepté pas beaucoup d’eau chaude (uniquement le premier jour) mais vu la chaleur, cela ne nous a pas posé de problème.

very comfortable bed and the woman working there was very kind, efficient and helpful to me.

during my 2 days there, i experienced a lot of issues. firstly there are multiple buildings for this hotel which is confusing for navigating there. i was told the day of my arrival my room would be changed to another building because of a water problem. the room i received in this building did not look like the picture shown to me and was not properly cleaned. there were stains on the wall and the bathroom had not been properly cleaned. this issue was resolved, however the next day i woke up to the ceiling leaking in my room. i asked to move room. i was moved to a ground floor room which is in the lobby, next to the elevator and w/c for the hotel, so quite noisy. the wifi did not work in this room, i had no phone signal. i had chosen a room with a balcony but this room did not have that - it was a patio completely closed in. the tv turned on by itself, the remote wasn’t functioning so i had to unplug it at the wall to turn it off. there was also water all over the bathroom floor. i wasn’t happy with this room so i asked to move room again and they obliged. so - all issues were resolved but caused a lot of bother and unnecessary stress during my short stay. building doesn’t seem to be of good quality.

Ich hatte in meinem Zimmer kein Tageslicht und auf Grund der Fotos online andere Erwartungen. Ausserdem ware die Gemeinschaftsarea mit den ssitzmöglichkeiten nicht begehbar.

Everything! The cleaning lady who met us was lovely and very helpful. The apartment is in a great location and is very clean with everything you need. The host was exceptional, he arranged airport transfers, scooters and also gave us a late checkout before our bus to ninh binh Would definitely stay again!

Outdoor / balcony was a little dark

Das Hotel war soweit sauber und praktisch eingerichtet. Auch die Küche mit Airfryer und Reiskocher ist praktisch um auch mal zu "Hause" essen zu können. Wir hatten das unterste Zimmer und es war sehr gut gelegen. Auch wurden wir sehr freundlich unf hilfsbereit empfangen. Mit google translator haben wir uns gut verständigen können und via whatsapp war immer jemand auf english erreichbar :)

Die Dusche hatte keinen Duschvorhang und das ganze Wasser fliesst dann durchs ganze Badezimmer. Soweit nicht tragisch, jedoch gewöhnungsbedürftig. Es wirkt sich mit der Zeit auch auf den Geruch im Badezimmer aus. Wir hatten kein Tageslicht im Zimmer. Wir hatten jefoch einen Balkon dieser war schön, aber ihne aussicht.

Approximatey to local attractions and the place was clean. The bed was comfortable.

There was no reception to ask questions. There was no cutlery apart from one teaspoon. There was no view whatsoever with just a wall to look out on and no outside furniture. The shower was difficult to work.

The balcony was very tiny and there was nowhere to sit, no staff at the property.

Big apartment, easy to communicate, clear instructions, we could leave our luggages until evening and they also helped us book a taxi. Friendly staff

The shower was leaking, I flagged it to the staff but nothing was fixed in the 3 days we were there. I also found a dirty sock under the bed from previous guests… not a nice surprise. I think small details like at least one small and one big towel per person, already have 2 toilet rolls will improve the service. We also asked to have an iron in advance for when we arrived and when we got there we had to wait 30min to get one.
