Great location, breakfast and host.

Great location with very friendly staff and an excellent restaurant in a great setting above a river.The villa was a bit small but with a large bathroom. Five minute GRAB ride to the temple. (Although Grab default entrance drop off is not the actual ticket entrance for daytime visits nor the other entrance used for the sunset and sunrise tours. Check the link in your online ticket for entrance location).

Struttura immersa nella natura, a ridosso di un fiume. Camera pulitissima e arredata con gusto. Staff gentile e disponibile. Ottimo il ristorante sul posto per colazione, pranzo e cena. Possibilità di fare rafting sul fiume. Esperienza pazzesca!!! Abbiamo conosciuto il driver Munier, che ci ha accompagnati tutto il giorno a visitare borobudur all’ alba, la chicken church e ci portati fino a Yogyakarta. Taxi nuovissimo e pulitissimo, molto comodo. Munier é un ottimo autista e anche un bravissimo fotografo. Ci siamo divertiti molti con lui! Chiedete di lui alla struttura per essere accompagnati a fare le escursioni! Non ve ne pentirete!

An extraordinary nice place in a beautiful and calm location. We enjoyed our stay very much and loved the friendliness of the host and the staff. We got plenty of good advice for our stay in Borobudur and the surrounding area. The room was perfectly clean and well equipped for a family of four. The food in the restaurant was awesome and the menu has a good choice for everyone. It is sad to leave the guesthouse after three comfortable and eventful days.

Chambre de petite taille qui aurait besoin d un rafraîchissement (papier peint décollé, odeur d humidité, draps...) mais salle de bain agréable. Un endroit pour se détendre serait apprécié car uniquement petite terrasse avec chaises.

Struttura composta da piccoli bungalow nella giungla in riva al fiume. I bungalow sono molto curati ma all’interno lo spazio vitale è molto limitato. Le valige (trolley piccoli) si possono aprire solo in bagno perché affianco al letto non c’è sufficiente spazio. Questo dettaglio nulla toglie al fatto che soggiornare qui è davvero una coccola, a partire dalla colazione che viene preparata al momento ed è di ottima qualità.

Suggerirei di fornire un asciugamano piccolo oltre ad uno grande per ogni ospite, così da non dover usare lo stesso per tutto 😊

We loved our 3-night stay in Puunee Villas with our three teenagers. The villas were clean and comfortable, with an amazing spacious bathroom. The food in the restaurant was exceptional and there was plenty of choice for breakfast, including Greek yoghurt and fruit and Asian menu and good coffee. We got to meet and speak with the owner, Joost, who gave us plenty of tips for the surrounding area and who shared his passion for this amazing place with us. The staff was very kind, smiling, hardworking and accommodating.There is a nice and quiet walk near the villas and the sound of the river when in restaurant is very pleasant. The villas are within walking distance of the buddhist monastery, which was so peaceful. Overall, all of us enjoyed our stay in Puunee Villas and we would definitely like to return. After long days of travelling around, this was a nice oasis to relax in. We thought it was good value for money. Wifi was at times sketchy but this was not our priority. Thank you for making our last three days in Indonesia so pleasant and memorable.

餐廳旁邊的水是從山上流下來的，水非常乾淨，老闆是荷蘭人，剛好跟我們介紹四周，可以泛舟跟騎馬，那區治安非常好，老闆掛保證 早餐是單點的，可以現場再加炒蛋，果汁竟然是現打的，非常驚訝，尤其是紅心芭樂汁，非常濃 附近也有洗衣店，費用非常便宜 距離婆羅浮屠叫車也方便

床聲音很大 WiFi 很弱，老闆說他正在處理，因為附近居民也有這個問題

Ein Juwel! In jeder Hinsicht! Lage, das Zimmer (das Bad!!), das Restaurant am Fluss, das Personal! Wir haben einen River Rating Ausflug gemacht - ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen! Wir benötigten medizinische Hilfe und Joost kümmerte sich wie selbstverständlich um alles (Fahrer, Ankündigung in der Klinik etc) - 1000 Dank dafür! Und die Entfernung zum borobudur ist natürlich sensationell

This place is truly relaxing. A peaceful cottage surrounded by a beautiful garden, with the soothing sound of the river nearby. The atmosphere is serene and perfect for unwinding. The owner and staff were warm and welcoming, offering thoughtful recommendations on how to enjoy the magical sunrise experience at Borobudur. Afterward, we were treated to a delicious breakfast by the riverside, which was exactly what we needed to complete the perfect morning.

Eine charmante kleine Unterkunft am Fluss. Das Essen im Restaurant war auch sehr gut und sehr lecker . Personal sehr freundlich , sowie gute Tipps vom Eigentümer erhalten .

Tolle Anlage, versteckt und dennoch zentral. Sehr nettes Personal und Besitzer, die hilfreiche Tipps gaben. Frühstück sehr gut und Terrasse liegt wunderschön am Fluss inmitten der Natur! Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr schöner Bungalow mit tollem Dschungel-Feeling.

Puunee Wild River Villas Borobudur is an incredibly special place to stay. The setting is simply stunning—everywhere you look, there’s a view, even from the bathroom. It feels completely immersed in nature while still being very comfortable. The staff were genuinely warm, friendly, and always ready to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Our host, Joost, gave us a lovely welcome and surprised us with an upgrade, which was a fantastic touch. The restaurant was excellent, with delicious food that matched the quality of the surroundings. Everything about the stay felt thoughtful and well put together. We highly recommend this unique and memorable place. Truly excellent accommodation.

Leuke huisjes middenin de natuur, mooie lokatie aan de rivier. Heerlijk ontbijt elke ochtend! De eigenaar is een hele vriendelijke man, hij nam ons mee naar zijn favoriete restaurant en daar hebben we heerlijk gegeten. Bedankt voor de fijne tijd Joost!

Alles was zoals verwacht, het is geen 5 sterren maar dat hadden we ook niet verwacht en dat is juist de charme van deze plek.

L'ensemble du site est génial, tout comme Joost son propriétaire. Le personnel est très sympathique et toujours très attentionné et prêt à vous aider. Ils nous ont organisé la visite du temple. Petit déjeuner très bon. Les chambres sont confortables avec les équipements électriques judicieusement positionnés (rare en Indonésie). Joost le propriétaire se fera un plaisir de vous faire visiter les toilettes de son restaurant, elles surplombent la rivière, très original.

Compleet zorgeloos verblijf, overal was aan gedacht en/of werd over meegedacht! Ontzettend lekker eten en prachtig gezeten aan de rivier. Erg gezellig om (mede)eigenaar Joost te hebben mogen ontmoeten die nog leuke tips had voor de omgeving en de rest van onze reis.

The environment and scenery were incredibly beautiful, beyond my expectations. Staff member Dwi escorted me to the bungalow, and a welcome drink was provided. The water heater was advanced, with piano-style buttons. A small garden was right in front of the room. The restaurant beside a river with fast-flowing water, served delicious food. The breakfast was served with two drinks and delicious dishes. Candi Mendut was only a 6-minute walk from the hotel, and there was rafting just 100 meters away. I would definitely come back here again if I return to Borobudur.

I liked so much this place that I decided to extend my stay. Puunee is an amazing location among two rivers, perfect for relaxing holidays into the nature. They don't only offer a good accomodation and a great restaurants (we really enjoyed the breakfast and any other meal on the terrace above the river). Thanks for the director and his amazing staff for the great hospitality, we felt like at home.

I had a wonderfull stay at Puunnee Wild River. My Room "little villa" was superclean an comfi, I had a beatiful view to a flower garden and nature. Everybody was super friedly and helpfull and the food and espacialy the breakfast directly at the river were the best! For a few days out in peace really nice!

The place is extremely quiet, everyone is friendly and supportive on whatever you need, especially the director. The location is near the temples and sunrise view points. The breakfast is very generous and delicious (you can order from the breakfast menu). Also the restaurant is high quality for a very convenient price and you have a nice view to the river. The bungalow is very comfortable as well as the bed. They staff clean the room very well.

Tempatnya bagus, sesuai ekspektasi. Nyaman dan pelayanannya bagus. Karena kemaren ke sana dalam rangka Borobudur Marathon, ada sedikit perbedaan menyesuaikan pelari. Sarapan bisa diundur setelah selesai lari, checkout bisa mundur dari jadwal seharusnya. Mantap lah pokoknya.

Sebetulnya ini bukan kekurangan. Bangunannya dari kayu dan model panggung, jadi kurang kedap suara. Tapi ya karena memang model bangunannya begitu, justru itu nilai plus. Asal jangan berisik aja biar enggak ganggu yang lain.

Lugar perfecto para desconectar unos días y tener una experiencia redonda en Borobudur. El hotel está totalmente integrado con la naturaleza de su entorno. Tiene un restaurante donde se desayuna y come sobre el propio río espectacular. Además, ofrece otras actividades como caballos, rafting, jeeps… Destacar la amabilidad y cercanía de Joost y Laila, dispuestos ayudar y explicar todo lo que necesites para tu estancia en Borobudur. Da gusto apoyar negocios llevados por personas así. Por último, recomendar la excursión ofrecida por el hotel para visitar Borobudur al amanecer. Aunque no puedas ver el amanecer (hay días nublados), merece mucho la pena porque visitas el templo con muy poca gente. Muy difícil tener una experiencia así hoy en día. Te acompaña un guía que al inicio deja 30-40’ para visitar la cima del templo (Nirvana) a tu aire, y luego hace una introducción completa de la historia del templo centrándose en su significado espiritual. Lo aconsejo 100% y no tienes que preocuparte de nada, el hotel lo gestiona incluido el transporte.

No haber tenido más días para disfrutar de la paz de Puunee XD

Erg mooi verblijf op een bijzondere locatie met erg goed ontbijt. De huisjes zijn mooi en comfortabel. De Nederlandse mede-eigenaar en gastheer Joost was zeer gastvriendelijk. Normaal probeer ik mijn landgenoten te vermijden op vakantie maar met Joost was het leuk gesprekken te voeren en over zijn avonturen te horen. Joost heeft goede tips voor de omgeving en heeft eventueel ook veel activiteiten in de aanbieding zonder deze op te dringen.

Zoals bij elk verblijf in Indonesië, zijn de kussens niet voor buikslapers :).

We knew we wanted to be in the nature, but we did not anticipate that we would land up in such a beautiful place! Our little villa was gorgeous, the restaurant right on the river was a real treat, and the generosity and kindness of all the staff there was exceptional! (They looked after us with such care since we arrived from Bali with upset stomachs) Jooste and his wife became friends in a very short time and we know we will see them again!

Nur wenige Gehminuten von verschiedenen buddhistischen Tempeln entfernt. Wenn Sie Natur und Ruhe suchen, aber gleichzeitig auch auf moderne Annehmlichkeiten Wert legen und nicht weit vom Stadtzentrum entfernt sein möchten, ist dies der ideale Ort für Ihren Aufenthalt! Das Frühstück im Restaurant direkt am Fluss ist wirklich hervorragend, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und der Besitzer, Joost aus den Niederlanden, ist stets anwesend und sorgt dafür, dass unser Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich ist. Außerdem gibt er uns viele nützliche Tipps zu Java.

Es besteht durchaus Bedarf an Infrastrukturverbesserungen, aber mit Joost an der Spitze bin ich sicher, dass er die Weiterentwicklung des Resorts kontinuierlich vorantreiben wird.

Perfect getaway! The river setting is so relaxing and truly good for the soul. Joost was a fantastic host, always helpful. We loved the food – breakfast and dinner were both excellent and well priced. Accommodation was very comfortable. Can’t wait to return!

Das Puunee Wild River ist ein verstecktes Juwel. Direkt an einem malerischen Fluss gelegen, bietet dieser Ort eine perfekte und ruhige Atmosphäre in einem schnuckeligen Bungalow - ideal, um die Seele baumeln zu lassen. ​Das Personal ist sehr herzlich, der Service tadellos. die Auswahl von Essen und Getränken, insbesondere das superklasse Frühstück sind hervorragend. Joost, der supernette Eigentümer aus Holland, gibt tolle Tipps, hilft bei der Buchung von spannenden Ausflügen und gibt tiefe Einblicke in das Leben vor Ort. Man merkt ihm an, dass er hier mit echter Leidenschaft lebt. ​Ich hatte zunächst nur 2 Nächte gebucht, dann aber noch 1 Nacht an diesem wunderschönen Ort verlängert und kann das Puunee Wild River uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

酒店服务人员特别热情和认真的解答我的所有问题，帮助我解决困难 环境没话说，河边餐厅简直太棒了 房间虽然不大，但很干净很舒适。卫生间特别大，门口的小阳台也很chill 距离婆罗浮屠3公里，距离不算太远 旁边1公里左右就有一家海鲜店性价比高，海鲜店正对面有一家当地牛肉汤粉店特别好吃 所以整个体验非常好

La beauté du site, au bord d’une rivière. Les petites « maisonnettes » individuelles avec chacune une petite chambre et une salle de bain. La salle de bain est très grande et bien équipée. Le petit déjeuner est copieux, le restaurant donne sur la rivière et est très agréable. La localisation : proche de Borobudur et de la colline d’où il est possible de voir le lever du soleil. La gentillesse du personnel qui s’est pilé en 4 pour nous, malgré la barrière de la langue : l’hôtel est principalement tourné vers le tourisme local (en contrepartie, il n’a pas systématiquement les standards internationaux), mais c’est une bonne manière de voyager de manière plus authentique.

Le restaurant qui ferme très tôt (18h) lorsque l’hôtel accueille des touristes, il faut donc sortir pour dîner et la route à la sortie de la propriété n’est pas adaptée aux piétons. L’eau chaude ne fonctionnait pas dans notre chambre pendant notre séjour (je pense que ça sera réparé rapidement cependant)
