Luxurious 2 bedroom apartment with sea view in Monkstown

Location was excellent. Very clean. Loved the chocolates, wine and coffees. Very peaceful. Great living space. Wonderful to cook breakfast in each morning. Hot shower water was very hot!

Just bring your shampoo and conditioners. As well as cooking oil and spices w your groceries, that’s all.

Honestly, it was a perfect stay. Apartments were clean, spacious, complimentary snacks were a nice addition. It was cozy and warm, thanks to the host. To add, the location was perfect, not so far from the centre!

The apartment exceeded our expectations and the location was perfect.

The parking is an issue. There is no on site parking and you have to hope to find a space on the side streets where it is metered parking. We encountered problems trying to download the app. I gather there is some sort of pass the Host could get - something like a scratch card and you scratch off the date and time. If this is an option then definitely would Make things easier. My only complaint.

This is my second time staying in this apartment, and I’ll come back every time I travel to Dublin. Beautifully decorated, great facilities, 5 minute walk to the train station, super comfortable beds.

Elevated feel. Loved the common/kitchen space having a door. Privacy with both bedrooms.

It was a beautiful apartment right opposite the sea and a short drive to Dublin centre, complimentary wine and chocolate’s and comfortable and clean

The water capacity- during the whole stay the water cut off at times- intermittent! there were 4 people in our party and 2 at times went without showers and could not use the toilets or dishwasher/ washing machine The owner offered to relocate the first day but the water came back on- but 2nd and 3rd time no offer. I asked for a plumber but no emergency plumber was called with a plumber arranged for after our check out time. Bearing in mind we stayed 4 days and 3 nights an emergency plumber should have been called. The owner has agreed to refund the amount for the inconvenience caused. I hope they have managed to resolve and it could be a cylinder capacity issue.

Beautiful house in a beautiful location and a very attentive host. Deirdre is a generous host with such attention to detail all through the house and in the ample complementary products provided. We were enjoying it so much, we booked it for next year half way through our stay!

This property is absolutely beautiful it is very spacious has everything you need right on the beach! The layout is very practical with outstanding appliances,welcome drinks and chocolates very welcoming indeed !!The apartment is beautifully decorated. The host was very attentive and responded in a very timely manner.

The only thing was that the initial impression upon entering was disappointing as the major bedroom has white carpet which is quite stained… this however is not reflective of the rest of the apartment which is gorgeous!

Great modern layout with plenty of room and very comfortable master bed. Lovely location and a quiet area. Big, well set up kitchen.

There wasn't really a seaview as we stayed in the basement. You could glimpse some sea from the master bedroom but there is a car parking space in front so if that is occupied - no view. I expect that the apartment above would have a great view.

Having to find and pay for parking each day

The apartment is lovely and a great location. It’s located in a quiet place with the dart about a ten minute walk up the road to head into Dublin centre. The view when you walk outside the apartment is really nice looking over the sea. From walking into the apartment you’re blown away by how beautifully decorated it is to how deceiving it too. The host Dierdre was so helpful with the booking telling us all about the local area places and transport available which was really helpful. On an arrival there a lovely card and wine left for us which was really kind. We had a great stay!

The location was amazing and the apartments was so beautifully furnished and cosy. It was a delight to relax in after exploring the city and I could very happily have stayed in all weekend if we hadn’t had plans! The kitchen was very well-equipped and the treats left for us were lovely. The apartment is very close to the Seapoint swim spot — next time we will have a dip!

The smaller bedroom feels a bit less luxurious than the main bedroom (which has the en-suite). Not a problem at all but something to note in advance to decide who gets which room.

This was a lucky find, really beautiful property with everything you could need for a short stay. The beds were really comfortable and lovely little touches like hot water bottles, not that you'd need them as the apartment is very cosy. The host even left wine and bottled water for us. The open plan kitchen and living area was lovely to relax in. The location is ideal, across the road from Seapoint Beach (perfect for a morning swim) and a few minutes walk to the dart. There was parking available nearby too. Really enjoyed our break and will definitely visit again.

The apartment was just beautiful. It was really well decorated and the kitchen was very well equipped. Deirdre had left us some lovely bottles of wine and chocolates. It is in a great location and walking distance to the dart so you can park your car during your stay. Would highly recommend to other guests.

The apartment is beautifully designed and has everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The living area was perfect for our group to sit around in before leaving for the town and to unwind after a long day. Just a short walk to the DART station was ideal too. We all agreed we had one of the best sleeps ever in the beds, they were so comfortable. We were beyond happy with everything from the instructions and directions to arrive to the facilities in the apartment.

Very easy instructions to locate and then operate the lock box. Wish it was a little higher from the ground but I managed. A little hard to see the grey door from the street but we figured it out. Upon entering, the luxuriousness of the unit is evident. Was worried about it being basement level but my worries were dashed upon walking through. The kitchen is superb. The TV was a bonus with all the local channels available. The fireplace was spectacular - once I figured out that the previous person had inserted the batteries upside down. Loved the towel warmers. Heated floor in the main suite bath was wonderful. Extra towels, mats, etc were so welcome. Beds were comfy. Being from USA, missed a top sheet but used an extra duvet cover. Location is great - love Monkstown and Avoca Market! Buckleys is great. People were swimming in the bay. Amazing. Very close to the train stations but no sound transmitted at all. Hall bath is small but elegant.

Lighting in second bedroom - perhaps a floor lamp near the bed. The bed was large which is great for couples but not enough room on either side - I just slipped the bed over a bit to make room for myself to get in. Hooks for hanging clothes in bedrooms and bathrooms would be welcome. Phone signal strength was non-existent in apartment. WiFi helped a lot after I found the sign in. Washcloths would have been very welcome. I know Europe isn't a fan.

The apartment wad beautiful, spacious and very clean. The host left us some wine which was a special touch.

The apartment is exceptional! Beautifully appointed, it's both luxurious and practical with everything at hand for a comfortable break away. Deirdre quickly responds to messages. We were made feel very welcome on arrival by her kind note, chocolates, wine, water and kitchen basics. While you won't want to leave the beautiful interior, the location is perfect to walk across the road to Seapoint beach for a swim in the sea or hop on the dart to Dún Laoghaire and beyond. We hated leaving and have already booked a stay for next year to console ourselves!😃

Absolutely exquisite- excellent kitchen and living room with gas fireplace. Cozy comfy beds and pillows . Washer dryer was a plus! Quiet! Just a gem! Easy for travel to Dublin and located in a lovely town! Owner was so lovely and full of excellent suggestions and tips and very responsive to queries!! Being across from the sea was beautiful to wake up to- sea glass heaven for us!!

Superb apartment, very well located in a quiet neighborhood. Perfectly equipped. Ideal for 4 guests (two couples), having two good bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Well communicated via public transport (DART, bus) with the beautiful area of Blackrock, Monkstown, Dun Laoghaire, and Dublin Center (25 min apx). The living room is very comfortable, we spent good times there. Allows for sitting six persons in it. A lovely host, best communication with her all the time, and very sensitive. I highly recommend this place.

Everything went fine. Perhaps I would recommend to fit it with a stove italian coffee machine.

The property was beautiful, luxury decor, extremely clean with a small outside space, which was perfect for our weekend. The apartment is in a great location for Monkstown and the Dart into Dublin (2 mins walk) plus easy parking in side street adjacent to the apartment. Excellent communication with the host. I would recommend!

The decor was fabulous. It was a really beautiful place to hang out. Our fav chair was the pink one - so stylish but the couch was the best for comfort.

The property was stunning. We visit family a lot in Dublin and sometimes we stay with them but it is nice to have your own private space and we picked well. The property was spacious, modern with many lovely original features. The property finishes were to a very high spec including the mattresses and bedding. We had everything we needed and the location was lovely. We rented a car and could park it easily around the corner for a reasonable price (5.35 a day) and felt it was very safe. We were smack bang between 2 Dart stations so we were able to get the Dart into the city extremely easily. My brother walked to Dun Laoghaire one morning which only took 25 mins. And we also found getting taxis to the property easy and simple.

The apartment is beautifully maintained, with superb facilities and amenities, very comfortable and lacking virtually nothing. We o ly wish we could stay longer. Very safe for our young children, thank you to the host for a wonderful stay.

In 40 yrs of travelling, I have never stayed in an apartment or home rental that was better suited to me and met every need I had. The hostess, Deirdre, was always available if I did need something (I didn't, but she reached out anyway). I didn't need anything because she had already thought of everything to the last. Had I been travelling with others, the fact that both rooms are at opposite ends of the apartment, was perfect.

Everything. Bathroom floor is always warm. Every room was clean, the kitchen and bathrooms too. Communication with host was very good. Lighting everywhere was good. Washing machine and dryer working fine. There is a small grocery close by. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

Nothing. In the beginning we did had some issue with the heating, but is was fixed. Would recommend leaving 1 or 2 garbage bags for the toilet bins.

This property is styled to perfection! The kitchen/living area is so stunning yet cosy with a beautiful fire. The kitchen was simple fab, it is quite small but so practical and all amenities required are there. We were shocked with how so much could fit in a smaller space. The beds are comfortable and the en suite bathroom was stunning.

I don’t really have any negatives. If you’re looking for lively on your doorstep this place probably isn’t for you, however it is short tram rides to places with more of a lively scene. It was perfect for what we wanted.

The apartment location was great with a good view of the sea. The unit was well appointed and tastefully decorated. The host had left some wine and chocolate for us. The location was close to the train station making it easy to travel to Dublin and the town of MONKSTOWN was but a 10 minute walk away.

Amazing! Great location - right by the sea, close to train (dart) and bus stops and some lovely cafés. Lovely spacious accommodation, furnished to a very high standard, exceptionally clean. We had everything we needed and more! Exceptional hosts, so friendly and helpful.
