Great location, right near bus station. The location was cozy and neat.

Ciara is a very nice and helpful host. She picked us up at bus station and she also did spontaneously a tour for us with her car through the different suburbs nearby. It was great! Very good connection to city centre, 35-40 min with the bus without changing.

Very quaint. Lovely presentation. Nice extras. Comfy. Good location for pubs, restaurants, bus stop to Dublin and close to Blackrock village. Lovely to meet Ciara and appreciated the use of the bus card.

Ons beviel de prettige ontvangst, de koffie/thee en koeken, de douche, het koelkastje, alles was netjes en schoon en de bushaltes waren op loopafstand.

De grootte van het 2-persoons bed viel tegen. Ik zou 't fijn vinden als de bed maat vooraf in de informatie wordt vermeld. De TV bood wel Netflix en You Tube maar geen zenders (dus ook geen tennis US-open). Soms was het praten in de naastgelegen woning hoorbaar (dus wellicht waren wij voor hen ook hoorbaar, dit voelt niet fijn.)

In the room a coffee machine ,kettle breakfast biscuits .The bungalow is not arranged to have a set breakfast coffee and a breakfast bar was fine for us. Plates and knives and forks are supplied so a take away could be easily be eaten. Only one point a second bedside light as we both like to read before sleeping. Ciara was a lovely lady very friendly and just told us to know on her door if we needed anything. If we needed to stay again in that vicinity Verbena is the place we would book again without any hesitation

Everything was so comfy and welcoming… a home from home! Ciara is the nicest person and took great care of the needs of me (plus my arriving friends… who are sending a big thank you for the lovely sandwiches). So many things I enjoyed… and I‘m thankful for everything. It was great meeting the sweeet dogs Winnie and Kofie too! Hope to come back some day soon! 🥰

Very nice breakfast. Host went to a lot of trouble. Location excellent which was our reason for staying in that area and was easy to find.

Parking difficult. Mirror needed in bedroom and mirror in bathroom too small. Would be nice to have tv channels.

Room was absolutely lovely, a lot better than the pictures. Facilities were excellent. Immaculately clean, great location, met this host in the morning and she was very friendly.

Room was a bit warm at night, didn't sleep very well despite a very comfortable bed. Some light coming in from the curtains and windows above door also woke us up a little early.

I have booked through this site many times because of travel for work, this was the most beautiful room ever. So much attention to detail from the perfect decor to all the luxuries like soft fluffy towels, real coffee, real milk, large flatscreen TV with Netflix, excellent shower, very comfy bed. Quiet location. An absolute pleasure to stay there and a true home from home.

Couldn't find the hairdryer but maybe that was just me. In terms of location, not an issue with the host but with the website, it says Blackrock so I had assumed it was near to the village but is actually 3.5 km away. Still, got into the City center with public transport and there were restaurants and shops a short walk away.

Perfect for what I was looking for - a female solo traveller on an overnight stay. Great neighbourhood. I felt very safe in this accommodation. The No 4 bus took me directly from Heuston Train Station to Deansgrange. The bus stop is so close to Verbena – fantastic! The room was spotless. A nice comfy bed, a good night’s sleep and back on my travels again by bus the following morning. Loved the private entrance to the room; communication with the host was wonderful and I’ll definitely be back again if the need arises. Thumbs up!!!

The apartment was beautifully decorated and was immaculately clean. The location is great, very easy to get into the centre of Dublin and the ferry port. Ciara is a wonderful host and is very kind! There is everything you could possibly need for a short stay: lovely coffee machine, a hairdryer, TV, even camomile tea and biscuits!

Fabulous B&B centrally located near Dublin's city center. It was very easy to get around with bus, and the owner kindly brought me to my next destination within the area. The bed was very comfortable, and the stylish and very clean room had every comfort, including a nice coffee maker and electric kettle. Very relaxing shower! I highly recommend this place.

Location is fairly central, we did not use public transport but I imagine there are nearby buses though not trains to my knowledge. The room and bathroom were very clean with toiletries, towels and coffee/tea supplied. Shower is good. Easy access and good communication from host. We arrived on a cold day and the room was warm and cosy. Hairdryer supplied too.

There's a bit of road noise though it didn't really bother us. The room is light even in darkness, a blackout lining on curtains would really help with this. The mirror in the bathroom is the only mirror and it's very high on the wall! A problem for anyone wanting to put on make up or see themselves properly. The room is very compact so we felt a bit cramped but nevertheless it's fine for a short stay.

Convenient accommodation. Very clean and external door entering the room was great that I could come and go as I wanted. Lovely toiletries.

When in the room, there is an adjoining door between it and the household kitchen, so I could hear conversations taking place on the other side of the door.

Ciara was most welcoming: on arrival I was treated to a glass of wine, which was excellent! The room was lovely and warm, the shower terrific, the TV with Netflix a very pleasant surprise, the bed exceeding comfy, and my whole stay magical-I am booking for next year, certainly! When Ciara had so much to deal with herself, she proved a superb landlady/ hostess- I could not have been better looked after anywhere…and am most grateful to her.

The property was self contained and had everything we needed. Checking in was seamless and property was very clean.

Sometimes there was noise from adjoining home but nothing more then you would experience in a hotel room.

Second time staying there for work puposes , highly recommended . Attention to detail and location for me is ideal. Great communication from host as per first visit. Will be booking again if need to go to Blackrock for work or otherwise
