A 5 min de la Jonker street i Dutch houses (que es de donde sale el crucero con el barco por el rio). Puedes ver lo principal de la ciudad a pié saliendo del hotel y si te cansas, los crab son muy economicos .Las camas son comodas, la ducha funciona muy bien y esta limpio. Hay una zona comun con utensilios de cociona y supermercados muy cerca si te apetece descansar de la comida tipica. No hay nadie en la recepccion pero te envian las indicaciones por whatsapp y resuelven dudas al momento. Entrar es facilisimo y la zona tranquila.

The accomodation is great, I love the common area, specially with the big table on the kitchen. You can find dish, glass and instruction very easy. you can sit on the big table and enjoy the meals with 8 persons because the table is very massive. The room is big, enough for 7 of us. close enough to jonker, 5 minutes to asam pedas claypot, 7eleven on the back road of the house.

No TV on the CAVE, but its enough for us. our Cave is on the second floor. the stairs is small. only for 1 people up or down. Dont expect to see the staff all the time. Maybe you can put 1 big TV on the common room?

One positive aspect of the property is its location — there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, making it very convenient for meals and daily necessities.

This is my second time booking this property. The first time was a few months ago, and I booked the Standard Double Room. I received the exact room that matched the photos advertised. However, my friend, who booked the same room type, was shocked to be given a much smaller, claustrophobic room — Room 303. Unfortunately, the same thing happened to me during this stay. I was given Room 303 instead of the room shown in the advertised photos for the Standard Double Room that I had booked. I had to spend nearly 5 hours discussing this with Nikki, the property administrator. After a long argument, she finally honored the correct room type and moved me to Room 202 instead of Room 303. Nikki may try to claim that Room 303 is bigger, but if this happens to you, request a video comparison and judge for yourself how tiny Room 303 is compared to Room 202, despite both being sold as Standard Double Rooms. Another disappointing aspect was the condition of the common areas, which were extremely poorly maintained. The floors were very dirty, and the front entrance area was often left in a messy state. On several occasions, laundry service providers blocked the entrance to the house with bags of laundry, making access inconvenient and unwelcoming.

Cool layout of the place. A lot of cool areas to lounge. Nice kitchen.

Needs some work, peeling paint. I did not like the room I had, no window which felt stuffy. The onsite host wasn’t very friendly and smoked in and out of the building. Made it uncomfortable. A more engaging host would make the place much nicer.

Its in a great location, only a few minutes from the river and Jonker. Since we were the only ones there, car parking was easy, in the road in front opposite the entrance. It was not clear if the car park in front of this is also available. There is a communal fridge, cooking facilities and and filtered water

Room is a bit spartan with a hostel vibe to the place, but it's fine for a couple of nights. No shoes inside. Not much of a presence at reception and none at check out.

The premise is located at a very convenient location, near the Jonker Walk. The living room seems spacious and airy. The cleanliness of the room is decent.

I was never notified that the room that I booked doesn't come with en suite bathroom. This has certainly inconvenienced both my parents who have to go out regularly to use the common bathroom outside. If I had known this information beforehand, I would have never stayed at this premise.

Love the place. It is a very cozy place to stay. The room clean and comfortable. Worth paying.

Zimmer in Ordnung, relativ sauber außer man schaut genauer hin. Lage ruhig aber zentral, wirklich perfekt Küche und Aufenthaltsbereich super aber leider Eiskalt und Klimaanlage nicht einstellbar.

Hatten erst Raum 303. Da war es sehr laut, da anscheinend hinter dem Haus eine Machine läuft. Haben dann auf die andere Seite Raum 202 gewechselt. (Viel besser dafür locker 20 Mücken im Zimmer.) Leider Milchglas in den sehr kleinen Fenstern daher fühlt man sich eingesperrt eher als wäre es ein Raum ohne Fenster. Draußen keine Sitzgelegenheit. Lediglich eine echt eklige Raucherecke, die nie aufgeräumt wird. Eiskalt im Gebäude.

So clean and modern! Rooms are perfect, great pillows and quiet air con. Location is amazing, 5 mins as the title says to all the major sights like Dutch Square and Jonker Street. Also has a lovely roof terrace and a great Kopitiam a 30 second walk away plus 7-11 and KK Mart and a doctor!

Check in unkompliziert, sehr leise, praktisch an der Jonker street. Küche gross und vieles vorhanden, auch der Aufenthaltsraum gross. Zimmer finde ich gross genug. Bad typisch Malaysisch.

Wir hatten kein warmes Wasser zum Duschen. Wenn man es länger laufen ließ, wurde es minimal wärmer, aber immer noch kaltes Wasser. Wir hatten Zimmer 302

The location is strategic. Save transport fee to travel few famous places in Malacca city. The room and bathroom is clean and tidy.

The room is arranged without TV. Only one staff in the homestay. Hardly to reach him. Parking lot is limited opposite the homestay. The front yard lack of cleaning. The homestay next neighbor is unfriendly when find out any car is parked nearby his house.

Bed is comfortable. Place is clean. The arcade machine at the lobby. The dining area is comfortable to play card and board games or even eat the meals. Location is really good. Very near to eateries and Jonker. They are nice to let us put our luggage at the counter area first as we arrived early before check in.

Hot drinking water is only available at the dining area so we have to walk up and down from our room. No hand soap or tissue paper provided in the room. Will be good to provide kitchen towel or tissue paper at the dining area. Shower water will turn hot or cold or become small. Room is small so good for 1 night stay for us.

Other than it’s considered pretty clean, the experience is BAD in overall

Disappointment 1: I purposely booked a room with TV but ended up it was in service and I couldn’t change my room Disappointment 2: The key got broken and stuck inside when I tried to lock the room LOL. No staff is there to attend to the issue, late reply from the management on WhatsApp, no effective solution given but sounded more like ‘forcing’ me to check out early. I had to wait and wasted my time, and ended up I checked out early. It could be my bad luck but overall the management and service is bad (just being friendly is useless, customers need solutions). And most of the time the staff is not on site.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the homestay. The place was generally clean, comfortable, and cozy — everyone enjoyed their time there. However, we did notice that one part of the room had some ants, which was a bit inconvenient. It might need a deeper clean or some pest control. With that taken care of, it would be an even better experience. Still, a nice place to stay and relax!

Enjoyed the walking to Jonker Street to see both sides, commercial and local. Had a dinner at a small local restaurant, that was really great. Manager was helpful and super fast responding. Given essential information before checkin and out via WhatsApp, no hassle and stress at all. Interiors are beautiful, too.

Furniture needs to be upgraded, tables, desks, door, floor in the rooms are old and tatty. TV was ridiculously difficult to work. Staff weren’t particularly welcoming or friendly, but good communication through WhatsApp.

The place is quiet but close to the main Street in the same time. The room was clean and comfy, you have gel, shampoo and etc. There is also shared kitchen which is very nice if you go for long stay. There is free coffee and water available. You have local places to eat just in front of the accommodation.

The receptionist didn't speak English and the wifi in the room was inestable, in the shared area was great though (downstairs).
