The receptionist was very accommodating and helpful with our concerns when we arrived.

The owner was the one I was communicating with before our arrival, and I found the interaction very rude and unaccommodating. We understood that early check-in was not possible, which was fine. However, since we would still be on a tour that day, I explained that we might arrive later than usual. We were simply told that we had to be at the property before 5 PM to complete the paperwork, with no alternative offered. We were the ones who had to suggest solutions, such as sending our IDs and deposit through WhatsApp, so we wouldn't have to leave our tour early. When I continued explaining my concerns, the owner simply ended the conversation with “have a nice day, thank you,” without addressing anything. My colleague eventually asked if we could speak to someone directly, and only then were we given the receptionist’s number. The receptionist was actually very helpful and accommodating, which made it even more frustrating that we were not directed to them from the beginning. Overall, the situation was unnecessarily stressful and could have easily been resolved with better communication and a more accommodating approach.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. L’emplacement est vraiment idéal : tout est accessible à pied, avec de nombreux restaurants, petits commerces et boutiques de souvenirs à proximité. C’est très pratique pour profiter de l’île sans avoir besoin de prendre la voiture. La piscine est également un vrai plus ! Après une activité ou une sortie le matin, c’est très agréable de pouvoir se détendre et se rafraîchir en rentrant. Un grand merci également au personnel, qui a toujours été disponible, souriant et à l’écoute. À chaque fois que nous avions besoin de quelque chose, ils étaient là pour nous aider. Merci aussi au propriétaire pour ses bons conseils et ses idées de lieux à découvrir. Le seul regret est de ne pas être restés assez longtemps ! Siargao est une île magnifique et nous aurions aimé en profiter davantage. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir, et la prochaine fois, nous resterons plus longtemps

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was spacious, and we really appreciated the clean and well-maintained kitchen. The staff were very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even better. The location is also convenient, as it is close to the main road, making it easy to walk around and access nearby areas.

There was no complimentary breakfast or free drinking water provided.

We had a great stay at Casa De Loren. Everything is within walking distance of restaurants and nightlife, and the room had a large fridge and kitchen, which was super handy. The porch had a table and clothesline, the pool was lovely, and the owners were amazing and incredibly helpful. We hired scooters here and they were the best ones we saw in General Luna.

The water pressure in the shower is not that good.

The location was right in the middle of Siargao. The owners were so helpful, friendly and happy to help and gave suggestions, on what to see and do, and places to eat. I highly recommend staying at this place. Ross (one of the owners) is an Australian man who has been living in the Philippines for over 30 years and gives you straight answers and tells it how it is which is what we loved.

Nos comentaron que hacían las habitaciones cada 2 días y no nos la hicieron ningún día. Cuando nos fuimos hicimos el comentario y nos dijeron que había que comunicar que te hicieran la habitación. Aún así hay que decir que toallas y papel de WC nos dieron cuando lo solicitamos

L’emplacement …

Pression de l’eau hyper faible et sans eau chaude… Ce n’est vraiment pas très pratique pour bien se laver les cheuveux et pas très agréable. D’autant plus que l’odeur de la salle de bain laisse à désirer. Une odeur permanente d’égouts. Le chemin pour accéder aux logements est souvent inondé dû à la pluie et est donc sale, glissant, et boueux. Le gérant n’est pas très complaisant, une simple demande de late check-out jusqu’à midi est refusé… Le Check - out à 11h00 pile est obligatoire.

The property is near tourism road. You could walk and its accessible. The staffs are amazing, kind and friendly.

If it rains, be prepared to get your feet wet because the road floods a little and gets muddy

The one that is a bit on the negative side was the road coming in from the main street . It could use more gravel to even up the road or maybe have it cemented in the future but then again it's more like a government issue not Casa De Loren .

The room was so spacious, and the staff were friendly. The location is in the center of General Luna, where the food, shopping, and party area are located.

The shower head was broken. They just put a tape around the flexible hose and the shower head. It is useless as the water is leaking. The water pump is not working well. The overhead shower has low water pressure, sometimes the water won't come out or it is so slow. Some pillows are hard and uncomfy.

Location is great, staff were extremely accommodating. Owners were terrific and did a great job with the place. Definitely would stay again there next time.

The property was clean , and nice . It made you feel very comfortable and the staff were really amazing and helped us with anything we needed ! They had filtered water for you to use , hot and cold water , Ac . And cleaned the rooms if needed ! I appreciate this stay very much ! Also was central to everything you needed , the beach , tuk tuks , restaurants and stores !

The road to get to the Main Street from the room , you would sometimes have to walk through puddles . There wasn’t a walk way .

Staff were the best! Very accomodating and approachable. They’re always willing to help you with anything. The rooms are spacious especially the family room with 2 queen beds and 1 single. It has its own kitchen which is convenient for those who tries to save by cooking their own food rather than buying since the food in the area are quite pricey

I think the rooms are not entirely done so there are some missing bits like exhaust fan and low water pressure but it’s not that bad that it can ruin your stay in Casa. If you do decide to eat in your room there is a dining table but its located at the patio, but I don't think they would mind if you move it inside especially if the weather outside is not really good

Prime location yet still quiet. Comfortable beds and spacious a great space for 5 people. Great and friendly staff.

The wifi. Yet i will still stay here again. There is bravo and brooks that has a strong wifi so i wouldn’t mind staying here again.

Friendly and attentive staff and owners. The family rooms were great. Everything you need was there: rice cooker, amenities, and even water refill was available. They also provided a grill for use to grill fresh fish from the market for my local family members. The beds were clean, and extra things like extra pillows were available as well. We checked out at 3:00am. to catch the early ferry back to Surigao City, and the owner was there to check us. Would love to stay here again if we ever come back.

The owners and staff were amazing, and they made our stay worth it. They helped us as much as they could and went out of their way when we needed help and assistance with anything. The family room was also big. Also, the location was perfect in terms of nearness to shops and dining establishments. We could just walk to get food and buy essentials.

There was ongoing floor repair in our room, which was covered with a carpet that was slippery. The road leading to Casa de Loren was also difficult to walk on, especially since it was the rainy season. The ground by the entrance gate could get surrounded by water when it's rainy.

The location was safe and walking distance to business establishments like restaurants, shops and nore… the room was of great size as well as the bathroom. Everything works in the kitchen and the size of the ref was perfect for us. Internet connection was okay but sometimes slow. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to our friends and relatives.

Red ants in the kitchen, slow waterflow of water in the bathroom sink, noise of the ongoing construction and the toilet takes time to flush.

We woke up at 7am because of the construction work no one told us about, when you come to vacation waking up at 7am is very disappointing. Also, no hot water, the shower was broken and very low water pressure. I was just disappointed about the value for money since this place is more expensive you’d expect a better experience..

The room was spacious! There were lots of pillows for one person, and the beds were large. We didn't expect there to be a kitchen complete with a refrigerator and all the utensils, such as a rice cooker, pans, electric kettle, and cutlery. I mean, it did say in the description and pictures, but I was only expecting it to be a shared kitchen with the other guests. Never knew you'd have your own—I guessed wrong. We managed to save on meals by cooking breakfast during our stay! There was also a big gallon of water available in the room—enough for everyone. Their staff was great—super accommodating and friendly. They were currently building a pool in their resort. It makes me want to book with them again soon! The location was convenient too, within walking distance to Kermit, the new Chowking Chow-Van, and Kurvada, lol!

The water pressure of their shower was so weak that showering alone took time. There was no pressure at all. The room air conditioner was noisy and wasn't cooling the entire room even though the temperature was set at its lowest (16°C), but it wasn't so hot as to make people sweat inside anyway—perhaps because the weather during this month was so hot and dry! Nevertheless, our stay was superb!

The room was really nice, good space. Bathroom was big, large space to place your toiletries. A wall separating the toilet and shower was good. It was a fridge there which was very nice. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is great, close to restaurants and shops, a little further to cloud 9 but easy to catch a ride with a tricycle. Space outside to dry clothes and towels.

We had to ask several times for more toilet paper, because we only got one roll at a time. It got wet in front of the sink because of the shower, but we had a towel we could dry it up with. Not much space to dry clothes inside. Aircon worked but it didn’t get super chilly. WiFi only worked sometimes. When you locked the door it was a small opening between the door and the wall so you need mosquito spray!

The location of resort is very good. And hosts are very nice.

It is low flow for taking shower. And there is a puddle on the intersection, quite harassed.

We didn’t get any room cleaning throughout our 6D5N stay. We also had to routinely ask for toilet paper as there was no room cleaning. But this is a small matter, I believe if we had reached out they would have easily done it for us.

what i dont like about this hostel is that the owners ARE NOT VERY WELCOMING. they are rude to the customers. they even scold us everytime. They let us pay 100 php for a broken glass which we did not even BREAK. they accused us for it. Their aircon is very HOT. so theres no point of turning on the aircon because its hot!!. lastly. They turned off our aircon when our room is locked without our permission and all our things are there. when we just ate outside and go back to our rooms.

Nice place to stay. Good aircondition. Wifi is working. You are in the center of GL. I can definitelly recommend this place.

EVERYTHING! I love the room, the facilities and the location. Everything was perfect. The price is also cheap for the service and accommodation that they provide. I would recommend this place to my family & friends visiting Siargao in the future.. And for me? No doubt I’ll stay here again.. Thank you!!
