Beautifully decorated and clutter free. Lots of pillows, extra blankets, comfortable beds and linens. Appreciated the really strong umbrellas as it rained a good amount during our visit.

A well designed, spacious and comfortable place! Centrally located and walking distance to everywhere around the town. There were a few slight issues but the hosts were very responsive in sorting them out!

Smells badly of damp throughout the property. Bed linen & towels are old & dated. Bathroom needs investment & upgrade.

Your tv was impossible to navigate. No accessible channels to watch. Sky sports demanded a payed log in? You have many cute things, but lack useful things - basic spices, tissues, paper towel.. just handy stuff for travellers.

Beautifully appointed, well situated, had everything we needed and the owners were quick to respond, helpful and welcoming. A delightful stay all round.

This is an amazing place, so comfortable and has all you need to feel at home. The chocolates were yummy and a nice touch. Exactly as pictured and a great size. Wish we could have stayed longer. Location is great for groceries and restaurants.

Such a cool & well decorated holiday home. It's right in the center, so walking distance to the places we needed to go. The beds were very comfortable. Very cozy stay.

The property was unexpectantly beautiful for such a small town, they had much more items in the house for use especially in the kitchen than other spaces and the location is great to walk around.

The water pressure in the shower was a bit low and the shower head was too heavy to stay up. That was the only minor bit, everything else was great.

The house was amazing in an amazing location, with brilliant views, close to shops and restaurants.

We loved staying in 24 Cron!! The home is very sweet, comfortable and detailed decor with every thing you’d need for a short stay. It was raining all day and night while we were there but the house held us well. Neighborhood is very tranquil. More water pressure in shower would be perfect.

We had a great stay overall—the place was beautifully decorated, the beds were super comfortable, and the location couldn’t have been better. We loved being able to walk to town! That said, there were a few downsides. The water pressure in the shower was quite low, and the cooktop was extremely slow—it took nearly two hours to prepare a meal. It also would’ve been helpful to have some basic cleaning supplies like cupboard spray and dishwashing liquid. Despite these small issues, we still really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful layout and tasteful colours with quality extra detail and thought. And in a great little corner of the town. One of our best accom experiences to date. Very cool.

Great location right downtown in Franz Josef, it was very easy to get to food, trails, and the wildlife center. Access was simple and the house was very comfortable with a full kitchen and two bedrooms. Perfect for a one night stay on our road trip.

A couple of minor things- not enough to make it not a 10, but to be aware of. The shower head only would stay in place in one position and the water pressure wasn't as strong as other places in New Zealand which combined with the open/European shower arrangement made it a little difficult to get/keep warm (I should have used the heater), and the nightstands in one of the bedrooms were metal which made noise when anyone was setting things down or picking things up.

The location was fabulous. Close to restaurants but far enough away for peace and quiet. The property was inviting and very cosy. Our hosts were informative and responsive.

I was a little nervous of bathroom floor ie. slipping over because I’m not steady on feet due to illness and we could have done with an extra tea towel. Maybe a night light in the bathroom?

When we went to Franz Josef it rained heavily for 2 days, therefore having a centrally located place that was warm, cosy, clean & had enough facilities & appliances for us to be entertained & feel dry & relaxed made all the difference to being indoors.
