Delightful 1 bedroomed tiny house with sauna

Beautiful location!

We arrived after sunset in the rain so getting oriented and inside was difficult.

We liked the idea behind this set-up, it is a completely private location, outdoors so felt a bit like glamping. I could see it work as a love nest or for some outdoorsy guy on a fishing trip. the sauna was great! The tree ferns are stunning

The place was incredibly hard to find, there were no proper directions, the provided house number leads to a totally wrong place especially when you arrive late and its dark The concept is great however the execution lacked. It was overall dirty, we acknowledge the fact that this is an outdoor location which is hard to keep on top of but it is simply not well looked after. the posted pictures are like 3 years old when it was new and in pristine condition and all the wood was clean and shiny, now the kitchen bench has stains and mold in it, the walls of the toilet looked disgusting, the windows of the cabin have not been cleaned in a long time, there was dirt and spider webs. the ducting above the kitchen bench has dirt and bird poo on it. The lock of the cabin did not work properly and we felt a bit unsafe. This place could do with a proper scrub down or karchering or getting a team of professional cleaners in to do a deep clean maybe every few months would be beneficial

- it felt a bit like camping (kitchen, shower, toilet are outside), was fine during summer - no room to hang up clothes in the sleeping room - sandflies - still not sure if the owner is the neighbour…

We were very cosy here despite arriving on a cold rainy evening. There is a fully equipped outdoor undercover kitchen, bed was very comfortable and the sauna worked well and heated up quickly. It's a unique and fun property

They have thought of everything! Cool quirky place!

Sandflies (to be expected on the coast) however they did provide bug spray/deterrents

Good for one night stay.

Sauna was not working when we were there (one of the main reasons we booked) No view, the area is completely enclosed. No privacy when using toilet as there is no toilet door (fine if travelling alone not so great if with someone else).

We absolutely loved the outdoor living space! The kitchen is equipped with everything you need + a BBQ as well. And of course, the sauna and outdoor shower was delightful. Sounds of bird song is gorgeous to wake up to and the stars at night were stunning if you’re lucky enough.

Quirky cool

Great little semi-secluded oasis. Fantastic amenities like a sauna, outdoor shower, outdoor kitchen. The cabin surprisingly warm, awesome place to relax and disconnect from reality.

Having a spa instead of the plunge pool would have topped it all off, bed was a touch small but good for the size of the cabin.

A well-thought-out area with a fabulous sauna. We didn't use the plunge pool, but it was great to have that option available. All facilities were provided for the outside kitchen. The weather was sublime, which made the stay really enjoyable. The host provided extra towels for the sauna. Thank you.

Since I'm a bed hog, I found the double bed a little small, and the bedroom width was also narrow. Some more hooks for hanging clothing, towels, etc would've been an extra bonus.

Beautiful place, very original and had some lovely features like the sauna and plunge pool. Although bathroom and kitchen were outdoors it was self contained so we didn’t have to share

No shelf or hanging space but we spoke to owners and they said they would rectify this

It is an amazing place. It has everything you could want for a comfortable stay. Even though it rained most of the time we were there we made good use of the sauna, outdoor shower and kitchen. The bedroom and bed are really comfortable and cosy.

The weather! It would have been even better in the sun.

The house was really special. We enjoyed it very much. The owner are so lovely and the community around is great. We were immediately invited to their anniversary party.

It had some added extras that I wasn’t expecting, for example ground coffee as well as instant.

Sauna and plunge pool were a great addition and we liked having cooking facilities available. Very cool and cosy area to spend the night.

There are a lot of sandflies but we know this is completely out of the hosts hands! They provided insect repellent sprays and candles/incense which helped a lot. Would recommend having clothes to cover up in the evenings.

The kitchen, shower and toilet facilities were of very good quality and the ambience of the half-in/half-out living area was excellent. Tastefully designed and wonderful views of the bush above....BUT..

......the impossibility of cutting off the exposure to the wind (reading materials fluttering) and to the sandflies biting us whilst cooking and eating dinner, and thereafter (unless we shut ourselves in the bedroom) sadly offset all those good things.

Comfiest bed ever and it was great being right by the sea!

Right by the sea does mean sand flies but they supplied lots of bug spray and other deterrents

sauna and plunge pool was great. so close to beach for walks. private everything you needed was there.

Couldn't fault it wasn't just accomodation it was an experience. Was wonderful to relax and spend time in comfort whilst still being able to experience nature

It was quite difficult to find then had to get a neighbour to help us get in. Sign posting would be helpful

It would be very difficult to stay there if it rained as all the amenites woulkd be a walk in the rain to get to

When we first entered the garden we were pleasantly surprised how spacious it was. You enjoy real privacy in the gatden en well equiped large kitchen. At night when the garden lights are on it is really enjoyable to use sauna and listen to the sounds coming from sea. Very romantic.

As name indicate and pictures show the room is a bit tiny, bit this is more than compensated by the other nice facilities, the kitchen, outdoor shower etc.

Great location and hear the sea. Beautiful sun sets, cloud or not. Sauna and cold plunge pool did the trick. :-)

This little gem had everything we needed and was very comfortable.
