Location was perfect for walking to pubs and shops. Alan was helpful with checking in and so kind with groceries and a snack basket! You are right at the departure for Aran Islands boat tour.
There was a leak in the living area with water stains on the ceiling and what appeared to be black mold. Alan said the cleaning folks must have missed it. Be prepared that ships may start loading at 7:00 am. Fun to watch-but you may be woken up early.
location and roomy.
balcony needs refurbishment. deck boards are loose and grubby. railings need painting and glass cleaned.
The location was very good but the noise from the shipyard was loud.
There was only 1 set of cards available our entire stay, but we were told in reservation there would be 3. This forced the older folks in the group to walk up four flights of stairs, garage ramps, etc to enter the apartment. We never had warm water for showers. The entryway to the master bathroom was falling apart.

The location of this apartment is just fantastic, you’re so close to the city and it’s very accessible. The apartment was lovely and clean and just looked so beautiful. The beds were comfortable and we all felt at home here. Each and every staff member works so hard to make this apartment so fantastic and they were all super helpful and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend.
Spacious for a family of 6+1 toddler. Master bedroom was great with a beautiful shower and jacuzzi bath.
The area around the elevator walkway and property entrance were inappropriate and run down. There was a fallen mop and cleaning bucket just outside the front door in the front, the front door would only open halfway and the vacuum cleaner was left inside the front area. There should have been instructions to operate the washer, and microwave. There was no shampoo, conditioner or bath soap. I would have expected a basic brand for $600/night.
The location is perfect, only a short walk to Eyre Square, Shop St, etc… lots of space with four bedrooms. View is fantastic. Communication was great. Kids loved the little pool/ping pong table.
This was our second stay at the Penthouse. The first time we stayed in 2015, the property was amazing, and I was so excited to book it again. This time, you could tell it had fallen into disrepair, which is sad given the price. It started with the front door, which barely opened wide enough to get our large suitcases through. Many of the windows and glass doors had issues—wouldn’t open or wouldn’t close all the way. The small bathroom had a mold problem and there was literally something hanging down from the ceiling. In the master bath, the faucet was missing a handle, so only the hand shower could be used to fill the tub. On the comfort side, they provided two small, flat pillows for a king sized bed—there were two additional pillows in the cupboard but also low quality. The paint around the apartment is very scuffed. Again, I could have overlooked a lot of this, but at $1,000 per night, I expected the luxury we had from our first stay.
Good location.
Lots of deferred maintenance. Windows that wouldn’t open, lightbulbs that didn’t work, etc.
Very clean, large, comfortable and great location
Nothing
The Location
Bath did not work .. heating only came on in the day was cold at night… no hot water could not use shower in the en suite…… shower in the other bathroom had very low pressure…tv did not work in the bedroom or bathroom
A beautiful apartment with plenty of room and facilities. Fantastic views over the docks and a large balcony. Only minutes from the buzz of the wee galway streets.
Nothing other than we didn't stay long enough.
Location, view.
Parking, outside cleanliness, access.
Location and layout. Great communication. Comfortable beds.
Needs some maintenance. Windows and doors need some work. Massive gap at top of wooden front door and aluminium doors onto balcony are very fiddly - difficult to lock once open. Some of the wooden boards on balcony are loose too. Need nailed down.
View and location
Floor was dirty.
Convenient property location, although access to the car park entailed 20 minutes in a traffic jam which seems to be there daily.
Was very stormy and blustery the night we stayed - would have been nice to be able to light the gas fire in the living room - there is quite a chill comes off the glass doors onto the patio.
