Reviewed Jun 24, 2026Stay at Oasis Ellipse in Midrand was exceptional. Only hiccup was a water outage on day 1, but the host went above and beyond, offered his more upscale, farm style property in a nearby suburb for the night at no extra cost. We returned to Ellipse once water was restored and it was perfect: gorgeous, well-maintained interior, comfortable bed, quiet and safe area, literally a stone’s throw from Mall of Africa. Safe to walk even at night.
Nothing I didn’t like except the brief water issue.

Reviewed Jun 7, 2026My daughter and I stayed at Oasis Ellipse for 3 nights on a work trip and it was perfect. The place is beautiful, stylish, and so comfortable — we didn’t want to leave. The host was extremely helpful. When we had a small issue, they made sure it was resolved seamlessly and quickly. Felt cared for the whole stay. Highly recommend!
The interior is amazing — stylish, modern, and so comfortable I didn’t want to leave. Bonus: it’s literally a stone’s throw from Mall of Africa. I loved walking there and back, super convenient.

Reviewed Apr 9, 2026Location.
No. Extra toilet papers Used paper was in cupboard.. which was so not good. It's a self cleaning .. no sponge . Very little washing liquid which was mixed with water . No washing powder to wash the towels. Which was provided... Shower gel was in the bathroom. Yet again mixed with water.. OMW.. we always book out at least 8 times in a year but this apartment was so much different. So disappointing.. This is how I really feel. I would rate this . 2. Out of 5.

Reviewed Feb 9, 2026The facility exceeded my expectations it was exactly like the photos (which if you know you know lol) but I will say navigating was a bit tricky it's like a fun maze to get around but luckily there was very friendly, very informed staff to help from the security to the cleaners and Sifiso was a darling and a message away when I needed something. I also liked that it was so close to The mall of Africa. Lastly the security. When I tell you security is TIGHT! I'm not kidding which I really appreciated because it shows the safety is a priority.
Checking in for me was a bit weird I guess I expected more formality it was very casual but I wouldn't be too harsh on this pointm

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026The property is in a great location near a shopping mall, transport network and a few minutes drive from places like Sandton and Monte Casino in Four Ways. Furthermore, the property was clean, very secure, beautifully furnished and great value for money. Highly recommend the property.
It could have been nice to have complimentary bottled water on arrival……..I’m sure this was an oversight on whoever prepped the property prior to our arrival. However, this didn’t take anything away from the amazing experience we had.

Housekeeper on the ball and the person managing the unit is approachable, provided suggestions and will immediately respond on any questions even not related to the unit. Location was perfect, no unnecessary noise, and close to all amenities.

Reviewed Jun 28, 2025The Kitchen was stocked very well. The Bathroom had no shower gel, soap and shampoo. It only had hand wash and hand cream and sanitizer. The Extra blanket / towels were really great. The WIFI was amazing. The technology was amazing. The Fridge has ice cubes in the freezer.
The Service on arrival was average as I had to wait for 30 minutes because I arrived at 13:30 for 14:00. A whole 30 minutes became an issue! I could not go into the apartment until 14:00 on the dot! There was no DSTV Premium in the apartment. The cleaner arrived at 09:55 and opened the door that was locked and I told her I am still inside. No knock! No announcement! I just saw a woman standing there giving me a dirty look and making it clear I must leave now! I will never ever stay at this place! I felt like a thief!

Reviewed Jun 23, 2025The security is very tight so we felt safe at all times. The convenience of having the mall just across the road was lovely. The cleanliness of the accommodation and the kitchen appliances that were relatively new and in good working condition was great.
Just a suggestion to maybe have a towel rail just behind the bathroom door.
