Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Very bad experience. I booked in the morning and received a WhatsApp from the host, but they stopped responding when I asked questions. I arrived at 7 PM and tried calling and texting, but no response. Suddenly, they replied and asked for a deposit. I checked with the residence reception, and the receptionist warned me that this person was a scammer and that there had been similar cases involving guests. Thankfully, I did not make any payment. Please be careful and verify with the official residence before transferring any deposit. I recommend booking through HomeBricks’ official channels only.

Reviewed Mar 4, 2026Logement fonctionnel, résidence de qualité (avec piscine et salle de sport). Station métro proche. Restaurant et supérettes en bas très pratiques (24h/24).
Attention aux frais d'établissement élevés. Hôte pas forcément arrangeant. Accueil et service de résidence moyen. Problème de badge qui ne fonctionnait pas = galères.. Pour le prix ce n'est pas acceptable.

Reviewed Dec 10, 2025It is the first time I have booked a hotel that does not match the description and pictures. This is not an apartment, as advertised. this is a room only. I specifically chose this place because it was supposed to have a kitchen and a washing machine for clothes, but those are missing. The apartment has been renovated, and the kitchen was removed — there is no washing machine, no electric stove, and no big refrigerator. At arrival, there was no fridge at all (the owner only brought a small one later upon my request). Currently, the only sink available is in the same area where you brush your teeth and prepare food, which is very inconvenient. For the price of this room, I could have booked a proper hotel room in the city center, such as the Santa Grand Classic Hotel for example.

Reviewed Feb 27, 2025I like that it is strategic and has all the amenities nearby. The place is clean but very basic. View is nice and room is comfortable.
It is a dual-key property so you may hear neighbors at the other room talking and watching their TV loudly. I wasn't informed that it was a dual-key unit earlier. The neighbors were noisy, but owner tried to resolve it. Out of the two rooms, one was single bedded and another is queen-sized. We went as a family so my dad had to sleep on the couch due to space concerns.

I was told there would be a dryer, so I ended up washing my clothes, spinning them over and over again to try and get them dry and then packing up wet clothes. Also, the hidden fees made the cost almost double what I thought when booking.

The food at the ABC RESTAURANT at downstairs is very good and reasonable price. 3. Has 2 convenient stores. 4. There is one ATM machine. 5. Security system/access and guards are good.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2024The bed was very nice, it has a washing machine and a kettle (no fridge). The place was very clean and the AC and fan worked well. Nice bathroom with warm shower and ok pressure.
The place was actually part of a flat that had been separated in two only with a locked door, that means a lot of noise from the resident next door and the smells could travel (cigarettes or food). If you are a light sleeper, the mosque could wake you pretty early in the morning so bring earplugs if needed. Beware of the additional cost (I should have checked, I will be more careful now) but with the price of the room I also had : 8 % of tax 10 MYR touristic tax per night 25 % tax from the establishment 100 MYR of cleaning fee per day 6 % for electricity cost 35 MYR of linen fee per stay I booked quite a bit on booking and I never had this issue of additional cost before so I didn't know it was even possible. In total the additions were as much as as the price of the room. I would not have booked if I realised that sooner and this made it not worth the price for me at least, so take that into consideration in your budget.
