Magical Loft - Homewood Forest Retreat

Wonderful secluded loft Accommodation, hosts were wonderful, such a cosy, peaceful and comfortable place to stay.

Nothing not to like, superb accommodation

Super nice, rustic wooden cabin, hand made I believe. Very comfy. Something that really stands out from the usual accommodation, something special. It's next to the owners house and another cabin for guests, but it was really quiet and private. No other neighbours. We met the host when we arrived. He was friendly and welcoming. The main bed was super comfy. The kitchenette, while not suited for elaborate cooking, has everything needed to prepare a simpler meal. It's also just really cute and funky ;-) The bathroom is quirky, under the roof. If you're very tall you might lose a couple brain cells on the ceiling here ;-) Overall we had a great family WE here.

A lovely welcome from Paul the Host. We had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Lovely and peaceful surroundings in the forest but not too far out of town. We loved the quirky features such as a watering can for a shower head, rocking chair on the balcony and the odd feathered arrows in the eaves.

As it was a traditional log cabin the lighting was a little limited.

The location and the loft were wonderful. Very comfortable. The aesthetic was fantastic! Loved the watering can shower fixture.

The WiFi connection was poor.

Very friendly, helpful and approachable hosts, absolutely beautiful log cabin, we were very comfortable and every little detail had been thought of, very clean and homely, we loved it!

A lovely quiet spot, a gorgeous loft space and wonderful hosts. Everything you need for a really lovely stay (including good coffee!). Thanks guys. We'll be back when we're back!

The loft is in a lovely, woodland setting and the hosts are exceptional.

A lovely retreat amongst the pine trees. Hosts were super kind and responsive. Very accomodating with our 2 month old. The space is comfortable and has all relevant facilities. Comfortable beds and great shower.

Beautiful setting, especially at night, the sunset was magical. Loft was amazing with so many special features. Main bed was super comfy and gas fire warmed the whole loft perfectly. Coffee machine was an unexpected bonus with really good coffee provided. Hosts offered us the use of their bbq and outside tables when we had family join us for dinner, they also gave great advise on activities and we're generous with providing any help needed.

The fold out bed in the lounge was not ideal for 2 almost adult sized children sleeping in it, however it was stated in the description that it was more suitable for children and my 2 girls are 13 and small adult sized so my bad for not reading that properly.

What a find! Such a unique, beautiful place, like something from a storybook. The loft is spacious and warm and has everything you need for a getaway. We appreciated the great coffee machine, quality linen, complimentary toiletries and tea/coffee/milk and granola. Lovely little touches. The hosts, Paul and Catherine, are welcoming and generous. At night the place lights up with little fairy lights and it’s simply magic.

Gorgeous loft apartment, beautifully furnished. Perfect for small group or family. Great location surrounded by trees, very short distance from Clyde / Alexandra for exploring the area. Hosts were super friendly and made sure everything was set for a fabulous weekend.

That there wasn’t a tv that played local channels. MAGS FAN! They did offer for us to go and watch their personal tv!

The jug sounded like engine when turned on hard when u trying to have a early coffee and would have been nice to be able to share the lovely looking spa pool

Wonderful location. Nice and quiet but near to Alex is you want to go into a town. Hosts were amazing, very welcoming. We were there on Christmas day and were gifted wine and chocolates, what a lovely thoughtful gesture. A perfect holiday, the fairy lights at night in the garden are a beautiful sight.

Everything about Homewood is exceptional. The hosts are so welcoming & generous - They went above & beyond our expectations to make our stay comfortable & memorable. The loft is incredible both inside & out - Captivating design features, thoughtfully decorated interior, warm & cosy whilst still spacious enough for a family of four. This is a truly magical place & we can’t wait to come back!

not sure if is bnb or just a loft should be nice to serve breakfast or made ourselves breakfast little difficult to turn little oven on lights bit low not great for poor eye vision but we can’t complain we had to go café for hot breakfast

We stayed here 2 nights to celebrate my daughter's 1st birthday and my wedding anniversary. The whole family enjoyed staying here. The wee baby sleeps well and warm enough in the snowing night , it is really a comfortable and quiet accommodation, maybe I will call it an art cause I definitely like the style of the building. Friendly and lovely staff, thanks for showing us the main building and lots of details etc. Recommend to everyone.

Absolutely amazing! Super friendly staff, the room was exactly like the pictures and very comfortable and warm. Highly highly recommend.

It was a charming and relaxing place to stay. It was great to be able to bring our little dog. The owners were very kind and generous. The breakfast was simple yet perfect- good quality food.
