The location is nice the only thing is when you back from beach ,the road is too sharp if you back mid night drunk is not easy 😃

Convenient for walking into town. Parking also a bonus as car parks get full quickly and they're also quite expensive.

The room i stayed in downstairs was large and comfortable for my purposes. Communal kitchen was great and well equipped

The room smelt a little musty - i think because of the excessive moisture of the area. The windows also looked out into the small car park and back garden so felt a bit overlooked and made leaving the blinds open/ windows open a bit awkward. The large bed was actually two singles placed together.

I’d say my only issue was there wasn’t a full length mirror to look in. The bathroom mirror was too low to use and the bedroom one was too high. I’m 5.4 Also thought the pictures of the kitchen were misleading - the kitchen is separate and shared I thought it was in the room.

The shower was dangerous on the High setting ( I assumed this referred to water pressure) It was either scalding or freezing. I should not have had to experiment to find the optimum setting was M. Lack of shower was a major grump! The loo door bolt was flimsy and came apart - had I been a child !!!!! The loo door mirror fell off when gently nudged. The left side bed reading lamp failed to work.

Shower was hard to use, either much too hot or too cold. Kitchen was dirty, wouldn’t use it at all.

Loud Noise from next room for a few hours when we had a child with us, we have been coming to St Ives for 36yrs and never experience anything like that at such a late hour at night. We were absolutely chattered the next day after travelling such a long way and not getting a nights sleep.

La habitación era muy bonita y amplia, con sofá. Cama extragrande muy cómoda. Muchas ventanas, mucha luz natural. Las zonas comunes son bonitas y amplias. La cocina es grande, con una preciosa mesa de madera, nevera grande, microondas y utensilios de cocina.

La humedad de la habitación. Techo del baño con moho por condensación, también en alguna esquina de la habitación. Había un deshumidificador eléctrico que hacía ruido

De kamer was echt klein. Niet geschikt voor 2 personen. Het is best een stuk lopen naar het centrum. Op de weg naar het hotel is het een flinke klim.

Bed was fairly comfortable with clean bedding, location is not bad, with only short walk to town centre or the beach. Although you will need to climb some fairly steep roads to get back to the property.

Parking is a mess, and it is very much first come first serve basis. Leaflet in the room tells you of alternative locations or possibility of parking on the street, last night I’ve spent over an hour finding parking space. In the end managed to get a spot nearly 30 minutes away from the property, as every street and car park was packed with cars, definitely take that into account when booking here. Some major issues as listed below, due to this we would have never stayed here again: - Water dripping from damaged gutter outside our window, because of that we could barely sleep through the night, despite reporting this to the property, no one bothered coming over to fix it. Hence 2nd night was mostly sleepless as well. - Black mould in the room, it’s been visibly painted over on most walls, started coming through again in some of them, and very visible by the window. - Doors to rooms 8 and 9 often fail to lock themselves due to either excessive paint, fitting or warping. Definitely do not expect closers to do the job, and check it yourself. On top of above we’ve had some other minor issues. Room 9 is advertised as small double room, instead it should say “single room with double bed squeezed in” as it is near impossibly tight in there. As for cleanliness, the bedding was ok, but the rest was just discussing, with filthy windows, cobwebs in many places and only so so cleaned toilet. Toilet door can be terribly noisy at times, so forget about opening it quietly if you need to go there in the middle of the night, also walls to neighbouring rooms must be done out of paper, as you could hear everything through the night (and believe me when I say that I wish I did not). Also broken / damaged fixtures / surfaces all over the room, see photos for some of the details.

Verblijf was top! Heel groot bed. Goeie douche. Netflix op tv 😉. Hygiëne was top. We zaten achteraan waardoor er moeilijk wifi bereik was. Voor wifi zetten we ons vooraan in de zetels Het is 11 á 15 min wandelen naar het dorpje: Dalen en klimmen.

Wygodne łóżko. Dobrze wyposażona kuchnia.

Easy to access property and room. All areas kept clean and tidy.

- Distanza dal luoghi di interesse: negozi, locali e spiagge. Sul sito si parla di una distanza di 350 metri dal mare, ma credo che si tratti di una distanza calcolata "in linea d'aria ": arrivare in struttura è stata dura, a piedi. Ci sono un paio di salite che mettono a dura prova muscoli e pazienza!

The accommodation was clean and comfortable. In a decent location. If you know St Ives, you know there will be hills and plenty of people.

Unfortunately there were a lot of building work going on. A lot of noise from those works, so it was difficult to have windows open and the WiFi was incredibly slow when trying to stream TV. I know it isn't the fault of the accommodation that these works were going on, but it would have been nice to be informed.

I like the location. Close to the beaches. The grocery shop is very close to the hotel. It was my second stay here. I find it quite comfortable. The price was ok compared with prices in St. Ives. It was still expensive, but for St. Ives in summertime the price was one of the best. The kitchen is a really great idea. Has everything there, including washing mashine, so this hotel will be good for a long stay.

Our room was really small this time. The bed was big and comfy but the room itself is more suitable for 1 person only. Especially the shower! It's tiny and not great at all. I heard very well people from other rooms. Also, we struggled to get dry wet suits in the tiny room.

Ein schönes Haus mit Garten, eine große Gemeinschaftsrecht, die komplett ausgestattet ist. Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine etc., Mikrowelle, Backofen....

Die Türen sind mit einem Türstopper wegen des Brandschutzes ausgestattet. Das heißt, ab 7 Uhr knallen die Türen, dass quasi die Wände wackeln. Jeder, der in die Küche geht oder das Haus verlässt, lässt die Tür zufallen. An Ruhe ist nicht zu denken. Im Zimmer ist hinter dem Bett ein Kopfteil aus Holz. Die Ablage ragt in das Bett, so dass man sich den Kopf anschlagen kann.

Die gut ausgestattete Küche incl. Waschmaschine hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Zimmer war sehr geräumig.

Absolutely loved staying here- nothing to fault whatsoever. I stayed in the single room and it was brilliant- immaculately clean, well equipped, comfy bed, sea view, brilliant location, quiet area. Ran into the cleaning staff once or twice and she was lovely. Will definitely be back again.

No fault of the property at all but it should be noted that its on top of a steep hill.

The kitchen is lovely - complete with dishwasher, microwave & everything you would need to cook for yourself. There is also a corner shop & restaurant close by.

The electricity kept going off in our room. Something kept tripping the fuse. We had to keep going downstairs to flip the switch, but it kept tripping all night. We then couldn't watch TV or use the kettle in our room. They call an electrician to find out, but they had to work in our room. This meant we needed to go out for most of the second day to dllia the eld electrian to work. So a lot of our time on the first night & second day was taking up with fixing the electricity in our room. That impacted on our rest time, as we were only there for 4 nights. We wouldn't have minded if they had offered us some sort of discount or complimentary gift to make up for it, but they did not. This was also disappointing, because this was the third time we had stayed there. This is the first time we did not completely enjoy our stay.

The staff were 50-50. Only engaged with cleaners when leaving the property. The lady was friendly however the gentleman was rude/grumpy. Had to repeat my "Good morning" for him to respond and even then there was not any eye contact. Car park has room for about 6 cars so depends on how booked up they are...

Lovely stay here - comfortable beds, spotlessly clean and a great shower. Communal kitchen was well set up with everything we needed. Ten minute walk down the hill to the beach, eateries and shopping. Thanks for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Das Zimmer war klein, aber vollkommen ausreichend. Super mit der Küche.

Der Weg war schon etwas beschwerlich und bestimmt nicht für jedermann zu Fuß. Wir hatten einmal plötzlich eine heiße Heizung, das wurde aber schnell und unkompliziert für uns gelöst.

Beetje goedkope badkamer artikelen gemonteerd. Alles is net nieuw maar al best veel scheurtjes in bv douchekop, zeephouder, douchestang etc. Er staat een ventilator maar die is van de alle goedkoopste soort. De voet is zo slap dat het geheel erg gammel staat.

As everything was self service we didn't see anyone but communication was good giving you a keycode to get in. This place was excellent for what we needed. The communal kitchen was massive with plenty of utensils and facilities to use ( we had some snacks there that we kept in the fridge ) as well as having own tea/coffee making facilities in the room. It was useful to have a car park ( although a bit tight if you have a big car ) and good distance to walk down the hill, a good strenuous walk back up haha Bed was comfortable and nice clean facilities and good shower ensuite. It was close enough to Porthgwidden beach where I went swimming in a morning.

Can't really fault anything to be honest apart from finding the front door with the keycode in but everything was perfect.

Comfy beds, enough space in the neat room and functional and clean bathroom. Neat shared facilities.

Poor wifi and television connection, room was very warm with limited airing options. Unpersonal contact with property owner(when asking if by any chance the room would be ready earlier, we received a response that they could arrange something for 15 gbp extra per hour. Ofcourse they are not obliged to facilitate early check in, but compared to all other stays in guest houses this gives a very different unpersonal vibe. Located 12mins from center but walk is steep and sometimes sidewalk is lacking. Would look for another place if I'd stay in st Ives again.

Short walk to the beach and parking are the only reasons

Room 3 was pokey and cramped especially the bathroom. I hated it and left a day early. Also if it’s hot you have windows open the smokers and drinkers in the outside area are too close.

Light, airy room, excellent position to get into town. Easy keypad access to the property and room. We would liked to have stayed an extra couple of nights of we could. Communal kitchen facilities excellent also. Great place to stay.

A dedicated parking space per room would be good as a little congested in the spaces available. Parking good at the rugby club 5 mins walk away and secure.

The room was very clean and had everything you might need.

The pillows were very thin and uncomfortable. The accommodation was very noisy with other people allowing the doors to slam very early or very late. Maybe signs on the doors asking people to close them slowly to avoid the noise would help.

The location is excellent, especially as I’ve stayed here a few times and know the area well. The property is always clean, comfortable, and easy to access, which makes the stay really convenient.

The room felt far too small for a super king-size bed, which made it feel very cramped and claustrophobic. It was difficult to move around the bed without bumping into things. The bathroom was also too small and not very practical, especially as the door did not stay in place and kept hitting me while I was using the sink. Compared with rooms 2 and 6, which I have stayed in before and found much nicer, this room did not feel as comfortable or well laid out. There was also a lot of noise from other guests, which made this stay quite unpleasant and has made me question whether I would return.

The single room was clean and had everything you need, cups. tea etc, plus a view of the sea. There was a well appointed self catering kitchen. Other guests were friendly and I got a few ideas of where to go (the ancient iron age village). The location was excellent for seeing tourist spots or following up family history in my case. Parking was tight but the overflow could park at the local Rugby club 10 mins up the hill. there's a supermarket on the way back down the hill. The beach was 10 mins down the hill.

Was exactly what I needed - comfy bed, place to make breakfast and store food in the communal kitchen. Had a nice outside area. Room was clean, had tv, kettle etc. Was exactly what I was hoping for, I had very good sleep! ( tho someone next door was very loud with snoring, hahaha!)

Shower was a bit narrow / awkward height so wasn't easiest washing hair! but the pressure was good and water hot. The staff were really lovely about leaving the suitcase with them and brining it to the room before my check in time - but if I haven't ran into the cleaner by accident, there is no way to store your bags as the access to the lounge doesn't work until check in! and St Ives is way too full of hills for me to be rolling my suitcase up and down them, haha ! wish they gave a recommended alternative where to store bags, or even had locker option on the premises !

Location was close to beach but a difficult walk up.

Lots of little niggles- drinks tray not cleaned; broken slat on blind; sink plug didn’t work. Main thing was there was nowhere to store small items e.g. no chest of drawers/bedside unit or shelving.

Comfortable bed

It was too hot, the heating was on throughout the building we tried to turn the radiator in our room off but we couldn’t do it. This resulted in us having to sleep with the windows wide open as it was so hot and the gulls woke us a 4am each morning. This was a shame as it spoilt our stay, the place was lovely.

The kitchen was well equipped including a microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.

The location is up a steep hill from the train station.

Sauber, relativ zentral gelegen (ca. 12-15 Minuten zu Fuss ins Zentrum, aber Achtung die Unterkunft liegt an einem Hang, d.h. ins Zentrum geht es gesund bergab, nach Hause dann entsprechend recht bergauf - nicht für jeden gleich geeignet). Eigenes Badezimmer mit Minidusche, Minilavabo und WC. Wir hatten einen Parkplatz (gratis). Preis-/Leistung für diesen Ort OK.

Die Zimmer haben keine Klimaanlage. Es hatte zwar einen Ventilator im Zimmer, aber an warmen/heissen Tagen, wie wir es hatten, nutzte dieser mässig. Zimmer sind sehr klein, unsere 2 grossen Reisekoffer hatten kaum Platz. Superkleines Bad. Wir waren im Zimmer Nr. 3 im 2. OG. was es zusätzlich wärmer machte.

The kitchen could with a good clean. The property is further away from the centre than I thought and up and down steep hills, which I found hard work.

The walls had mould and they had a humidifier to try and disguise the smell of damp. My partner has asthma so we wanted away from the building. I was refused a refund and was relocated to a much smaller room with two single beds. This was not ideal but had no choice but to take it or lose all our money. The second room was upstairs and among all the other guests. You could hear guests coughing and fighting. The last photo is the view from the room that we had to relocate to. You could hear the neighbours cats crying at night. No customer care. No negotiation just a blank NO.

Sewage flood in the courtyard, smell around the whole building, illegal substances smoked by other guests inside and noise in the middle of the night, no responses from property management.

Bathroom was tiny, jammed my fingers twice between the door and sink due to how small the bathroom was.

The rooms were lovely and the availability of a kitchen with everything required to allow us to cater for the group was very welcome. So much more like being at home when we sat at the table to eat a meal rather than being confined to a hotel room. The hidden garden area was beautiful.

Unfortunately the rooms got a little warm, even with fans running. But it was the hottest day ever recorded for May...
