Chic Apartment-Rua Verde, Lisbon

The location was fantastic with lots of amazing food options within a minute walk. It was also walking distance to many nearby attractions and places of interest. Despite being on quite a lively street, we had no issues with noise in the evenings which was a bonus. The apartment had everything we needed and was a perfect size for a couple. It was nicely decorated and everything worked well. Checking in and out was very easy and the host was communicative, checking on us via message throughout our short stay.

A complimentary transfer was offered but due to delays through security, we only arrived at the meeting point an hour after landing time so it was cancelled. Fortunately, the Ubers were very quick and cheap so this was no issue. It was "fly season" during our stay so on arrival there were a lot of flies in the apartment, both dead and alive, which we had to deal with before feeling comfortable. The rest of the apartment was very clean so we assume this was just unfortunate timing between the cleaning and our arrival. There was no inbuilt AC but a fan was provided as an alternative which was sufficient. The sofa wasn't very comfortable but we weren't using it much anyway. You could see directly into the opposite neighbours room but again this was easily dealt with by closing the curtains.

La ubicación

No tiene aire acondicionado y la calle es muy ruidosa. No tanto por los bares sino por las personas que se reúnen en una tienda de productos de CBD justo debajo del balcón. Nosotros somos españoles y nos acostamos tarde pero la noche del viernes se llevaron haciendo ruido hasta las 2 de la mañana. Sin aire acondicionado y con un solo ventilador la opción era aguantar el ruido y no poder dormir. Además, el sofá cama es malísimo. No tenía sábanas ( éramos dos amigos y no queríamos compartir cama). A media noche el sofá se venció de un lado y mi compañero cayó al suelo.

The apartment was spacious for two people it was spotless we had a washing machine,iron iron board, electric fan which was a godsend. Nice area plenty of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Easy access to keys host checked in with us on numerous occasions during our stay. Would recommend and would book again.

Everything was perfect for a short stay.

Top Lage viele Spots Fußläufig erreichbar, 5 Gehminuten zum Bahnhof Cais de Sodré. Moderne Ausstattung, gedämmte Fenster. Trotz Restaurants unter der Wohnung ruhiger Schlaf. Self Check In hat reibungslos funktioniert. Sogar 3 Stunden vor eigentlich vereinbarter Uhrzeit

Sehr hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit Belüftungsmöglichkeit im Bad fehlt, allgemein stickige Luft ( Einbau einer Klimaanlage wäre top) WLAN hat nicht funktioniert war aber für uns als EU Bürger kein Problem. Vorhänge dunkeln den Raum nicht komplett ab.

Było w miarę czysto. Łazienka ok. Jak się zamknie okna to było cicho. Ale jak zamknąć okna kiedy jest gorąco a nie ma klimatyzacji?

1. Brak klimatyzacji. 2. Nie działa WiFi. Zasięg internetu z sieci komórkowej słaby. 3. Brak kontaktu z właścicielem i praktycznie żadnej jego reakcji na zgłaszane problemy i pytania. Strach pomyśleć jakby działo się coś poważnego. 4. Lokalizacja - z jednej strony blisko do dworca kolejowego, metra i Starego Miasta ale z drugiej lokal położony w wąskiej uliczce wypełnionej barami i restauracjami bezpośrednio pod drzwiami i oknami. Hałas i zapachy do ok północy.

Location was perfect.

Can be a but noisy due to the restaurants on the street so ear plugs would have been a great addition. Air conditioning would have also been a great addition given the heat wave in Lisbon when we were there.

Such a small and cozy appartement above restaurant street! At first we were scared, that maybe it will be loud, but the isolation was really great!

The only small point was the internet connection being slow, but with 5G there was no issue!

It was nicely decorated. The street it was on was beautiful (but there were safety concerns - see below).

Unfortunately a lot! We would not recommend this, especially for women. - The lock of the doors, especially the street door, needs to be changed. It would take us about 5mins before we got lucky that it would finally turn and unlock. It often would not do so, leading me to my next point... - The street can be scarily unsafe, especially late at night. A man came at us as we tried to get in and luckily the key turned just in time for us to rush in and slam the door behind us. We were terrified, especially as we are two small women. I offered to send a video of the door not working to the booking company but they brushed me off, saying I should try for help in a local restaurant. They ignored the safety concerns we had, even with the example of the man trying to follow us into our flat. (I wanted to upload the video here to show how challenging and unreliable the front door was but this only allows photos.) - There were no sheets provided for the sofa bed. - The WiFi did not work about 80% of the time we were in there, particularly at night. As we could use our data, this meant it was a WiFi issue, not a coverage issue. I messaged the booking company & they did not answer my concerns about this. The lack of WiFi also meant we could not watch Netflix/etc on the TV. - The shower head would not stay in the holder when you turned on the water, falling out when the water pressure was turned on. - The street itself was not very loud but if sensitive to noise or an early sleeper (we went to sleep generally between 11pm-1am), then this would not be for you. There also sometimes is noise from people walking above, which was resonated. The messages I got from the booking company were friendly but did not take responsibility for their failings and our concerns, even though they wrote to escalate any issues to them. I do not trust them and therefore would not recommend this flat to others, most particularly to women or those with children.

Ein wunderschönes Apartment,beste Lage,wundervolle Umgebung. Sehr,sehr zu empfehlen

Чудесна локация. Много добро местоположение. Апартаментът е на комуникативно място. Артистичен и удобен.

Amazing place and an excellent location right on Green Street. The apartment is cozy and intimate, with windows overlooking a beautiful, lively neighborhood full of charm and local atmosphere. Everything was spotlessly clean and well prepared, with all essentials available on site. An ideal place for a couple- honestly, one of the best places to stay in Lisbon if you’re looking for a private apartment just for yourselves. On top of that, the contact with the owner was smooth, friendly, and very quick. Highly recommended!
