Sandyhill Guest House - Westport

Besonders gefallen hat mir, wie wunderschön und liebevoll das Cottage möbliert und dekoriert ist. Es war außerdem blitzsauber, Westport ist bequem zu Fuß erreichbar und der Check-in und Check-out waren unkompliziert und super einfach.

The Property was lovely. Immaculate, and only 5mins out of Westport. Would highly recommend this property to anyone.

The property was extremely clean and it felt very homely, everything you needed was in the house, for the property owner Nicola, she was absolutely amazing and helped us get around, she was just so lovely and extremely helpful. A wonderful base for exploring the Westport area, the house was immaculate and just what we needed.

Even though it is only a short walk to Westport town it is a dangerous road for walkers.

Maison à étage, très récente, spacieuse et décorée avec goût. La maison est agréable. On s y sent bien. Parking et accès faciles proche du centre ville en voiture (1.5 kms). Maison très propre.

Literie de la chambre parentale petite (140) alors que la chambre est très grande et agréable. Manque un sèche linge compte tenu du climat et du lave linge de 9 kilos d autant que l étendoir à linge est petit. Extérieur devant la maison, pas très agréable (petit hangar métallique sur le devant de la maison).

We had a lovely stay here, the place was really clean and had everything you might need! Perfect for our short stay in lovely Westport!

Everything was well laid out. It was extremly clean and they had thought of everything we could even have a cup of tea on arrival milk & tea bags there.

Beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and very comfortable guest house which was perfect for a short stay with my family. Easy to get to Westport town centre and other local attractions. Host was super helpful and friendly. Everything provided that we could need and very thoughtful additions (like cotton buds!) would very much recommend.

Lovely, comfortable & very clean! Loved the flower boxes and garden view from kitchen window. Very close to town, but away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Appreciated the coffee, milk & butter left by the host. The host was responsive & helpful. There’s a guest book with recommendations for food & activities.

Driving is the best way to get into town. Walking probably not ideal due to lack of sidewalk.

The phrase "I love this house" was over use during our stay. Its spotlessly clean. Its recommended for staycation for the fanily.. Nicola on the other hand, was so kind to offer to pick us and drive us back to the train station.

The most adorable guesthouse. Just beautiful, spotlessly clean and warm. Nicola had even left in some milk and a lovely bottle of processo for New Year’s Eve. Has a stove with turf and firewood so it really is a home away from home.

It’s not a dislike just a FYI- it’s a couple of minutes outside town so ideally would need your own car for transport which we did have. We did go into town for drinks both nights and taxis in and home were not a problem do and again Nicola had provided loads of numbers for us.

The host Nicola was so kind and helpful. The property is v comfortable and well equipped.

The house was fully equipped with every appliance you could need. Therer were lots of nice extras milk and butter in the fridge, teabags, coffee etc. and cake. As well as washing machine and dishwasher tablets. The host was very welcoming and helpful.

The Sandyhill Guest House was the perfect place to stay when visiting Westport and the surrounding area. The accommodation was spacious, well appointed and very comfortable for a family. It offered a quiet and peaceful respite after being in town or climbing Croagh Patrick. Loved the care and attention offered by Nicola to have milk, butter and brack bread waiting for us upon arrival. This was perfect in the morning with tea or coffee.

We loved everything about this property. Nicola, the owner was extremely welcoming and left us some milk and butter in the fridge and a very tasty cake 😋 The beds were very comfortable and it was so quiet, we all slept extremely well. Just a two minute drive into Westport with some fab shops, restaurants and pubs. We would definitely stay here again 🥰

Everything to be honest Decor beautiful totally my style Had a bath tub which is a bonus The location 5 minutes drive into town or 10-15 minute walk Tesco close by and train station Loads of cupboard space The wee extras aswell shampoos conditioner etc and even 2 dressing gowns which were a bonus made it feel proper homely Couple running it were lovely felt so welcome

Clean comfy newer property. Beautiful,well equipped kitchen. Inviting couch area with fireplace. Quiet location close to town. Comfy bed, Quality bedding & fluffy towels. Easy to use washer. Great TV, books too. Loved having 2 bathrooms! Roomier than it looks in photos. Vanity area to do your hair, even an extension cord and hairdryer provided. Comprehensive, well thought out guesthouse booklet. You'll find everything you need here, nothing has been forgotten. And to top it all off a friendly host. This is our favorite stay in a month in Ireland!

Nicola was lovely. She couldn't do enough for us. She collected us from the train & dropped us back when we were leaving. The house was spotless, warm & very comfortable. I would highly recommend this property. Westport is a beautiful place.

An absolute gem of a house. The house was immaculate, decor fabulous and super cosy. Nicola has thought of everything and answered any questions we had. The best self catering accommodation in Ireland that I have stayed in.

Everything was perfect! Only small thing is that I couldn't find a plug socket near a mirror to do my hair.

This place was just perfect. It was spotless and looked like a brand new house. The appliances and showers were exceptional. The host was very responsive and helpful.

The decor in the house was fantastic and so comfortable. There was everything you could possibly need. We were really sorry to leave. Definitely one of the best places we have ever stayed in. We'll done Nicola

Lovely house. Great location, walking distance from the city centre.

House was so clean and comfy! Loved making a peat fire! Washing machine was a godsend.

As an adult sleeping in extra bedroom, the bunk bed above was quite low. Good knock on the head once, but the bed was comfortable. Good night sleep!

Quiet location just on the edge of the crowded town. Our host left milk, bread and other food basics for when we arrived. We were offered a lift into town at the end of our stay to catch our bus to the airport on time. Perfect little place with a wonderful host

We loved our stay. Nothing negative accept Google maps being unhelpful. The property is in Sandyhill and not in Tonranny. Go careful when following Google maps and ask the host for the Eire code (post code) to the property.

Nice clean, comfortable new cottage. Well appointed. Everything you would need for a holiday weekend or an extended stay. The host was super going well beyond expectations. We would stay again and recommend it to friends and family.

The entire stay from start to finish was excellent. The owner of the property met us on first day and showed us everything in the house. She had put Milk, Butter in the Fridge and even a Tea Cake for us on arrival which was a lovely touch. I would thoroughly recommend this property to any family ( max 2 +2) and we hope to visit again next year.

This property was exceptional in all aspects of our stay, it was very clean, great kitchen and bathroom facilities, beds were so comfy, lovely towels and bedclothes, everything one could need on a self-catering holiday was provided. Nicola met us on arrival and even left us a lovely welcome cake. The location was very handy for essential shopping and the train station was a short distance away. The property is set in its own grounds with parking. I would thoroughly recommend this holiday home.

Unfortunately the weather was awful, it rained for most of the time we were there so didn't get to use the garden, BBQ, etc, but we still enjoyed our stay very much!
