Absolutely loved this place! Only stayed for 2 nights but wished we could have had longer. Awesome pool, great location and quiet too. The bed was comfortable and pillows also good. Beautiful accommodation and staff ❤️

Absolutely beautiful apartment, everything you could need catered for , beautiful furnishings and decors , split level with two amenities which was wonderful , the pool was Devine , the ambiance was so peaceful and calming right in the centre of all you need in Legian without any chaos . Beautiful teal and white finishes in extremely well maintained apartments with beautiful cactus feature gardens . Quiet and the most comfortable bedding also with aircon which provided the most beautiful sleep . I could easily live there . We loved it .

The accommodation was very very good. Behind the entry door the privacy and intimacy was very enjoyable. The styling was also a positive - really liked the look that had been created.

As a senior person ( in my 70’s) the only thing of any concern for a future visit would be the internal stairs to the sleeping area on the upper floor.

I absolutely loved these villas, as soon as i walked in I was surprised it was even better than the photos. You can see how much care and attention to detail the owners and staff give to this place. It is spotless to every corner. There were many surprising thoughtful extras. International power points everywhere made it easy to use multiple devices, the kitchen had everything to pour a drink or cook a meal - they even provided cooking oil, dish liquid, cleaning cloths & towels, dustpan, full sized fridge and 20L free drinking water, good time coffee, toaster etc I really loved the mix of Balinese traditional furniture with the beautiful decor and tiles. It felt super modern but still had that authentic Bali feel to it. Such a nice mix! The bed was so comfortable i could have laid all day and watched the free channels. It was convenient having 2 toilets, one on each level. There was an additional pedistool fan, body wash, hairdryer, iron, sarongs, clothesline, and alot of hangers, about 12 of them - that really deserves a mention as the last few places i have stayed had only had a few. I unpacked all my products into the mirrored bathroom ensuite cabinet, but loved there was also a mirrored dressing space in the bedroom - great option to dry my wild hair in the air conditioning. After travelling for months, I unpacked everything and tucked my big suitcase under the bed and felt like i was home. The pool was gorgeous and had such a relaxing, calm vibe. It felt like i had the whole complex to myself but it was also nice to say hello and goodbye if i saw other guests pass the pool - as a solo traveller this gave me peace of mind knowing i had 4 neighbors, yet complete privacy. Walking around was easy in all directions. Garlic Lane is about 5 minutes, Brunch club the same, the beach is just 10 minutes walk and so is Bintang, with so many places to eat and shop between. Crossing my fingers it's not booked out when i'm back! I honestly could live here!

There is nothing i could fault, I loved it all. I wish I found it sooner.

This is a unique property with an open air small living area/kitchen on the ground floor and bedroom with en-suite and air conditioning on the 1st floor. The unit and property have a lovely aesthetic giving it a relaxing holiday feel. Pool was clean and never overcrowded as there are only 5 units in the complex.

Bathroom was a bit cramped with limited storage for bathroom items.

The pool was shared with only 4 other apartments and most of the time we were the only people using it. The cleanliness was spot on.

The two drawbacks were a bar directly to the side of the apartments which was very noisy day and night and the shower over the toilet area.

Cleaning staffs were very nice and polite

The pillows had strong smell o ''staled head'. So bad that I to used towel to wrap around the pillows to minimized the smell. Then i washed pillow cases by hand the next day. Apparently, there were 2 layers of pillows cases. The smell came from first layer because it seemed to never been washed or replaced. The smell was so bad that the whole smelled the same.

The location is awesome, nestled between Legian and padma streets and shortcuts to both. The look was really homely and the feel was nice.

The air con in the bedroom isn’t very cold, lucky they gave you a fan in your villa do that went to the bedroom to make it more comfortable. The bathroom was very small, you can’t use the toilet while someone was in the shower as you’d get wet.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Kaktus Boutique Apartments and honestly could not have asked for better accommodation. Everything was perfectly clean, fresh, beautifully maintained, and fully equipped. One of the biggest advantages was the privacy — each accommodation unit is a separate two-floor villa. On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchenette with dishes, filtered drinking water, a refrigerator, and everything needed if you want to cook for yourself. There is also an additional toilet downstairs, which was very convenient. Upstairs is a beautiful bedroom with TV and a second bathroom equipped with a toilet and shower. The air conditioning worked perfectly, making the stay very comfortable. All accommodation units share a swimming pool with sunbeds and umbrellas, but most of the time we had the pool almost completely to ourselves, which made the atmosphere even more relaxing. The service was excellent. The apartment was cleaned daily, always very politely — they either knocked respectfully or, if they saw us by the pool, kindly asked whether we needed cleaning. We always received fresh towels, and they also provided separate pool towels. A few words about the owners as well — we were extremely satisfied with their approach and kindness. They allowed us both an earlier check-in and a later check-out because of our flight schedule, which we truly appreciated. They responded to our messages immediately and were always willing to help with anything we needed. We genuinely felt very welcomed and comfortable here. The best proof of our satisfaction is that we originally booked only 2 nights and ended up extending our stay to an entire week. Also, the owner’s wife was incredibly kind and friendly. When we met her, she happily chatted with us and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and places nearby. If we ever return to Bali, we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended — 10/10 experience!

Eigenlijk weinig maar als ik dan toch iets moet noemen.Miste stopcontacten en schakelaars naast het bed. Was wel fijn geweest dat er beneden ook een TV was.

Quiet location. Short walk to beach, shops and cafes. Great communication, was able to check in early and got a quick response when messaging.

It was a decent size and I liked that it had self service kitchen. Water supplied as well

The floor was very clean and tidy; there was no grit under bare feet. The kitchenette was very convenient, and the refrigerator was large enough. Any equipment in the room was replaced immediately. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. This holiday was both relaxing and a good night's sleep. The location was a quiet alleyway in the middle of the city, which was very convenient.

The first night was a bit noisy because some guests were swimming around 2-3 AM, and there were quite a few mosquitoes downstairs.

J’ai passé un séjour vraiment parfait dans cet hôtel. Le personnel est d’une gentillesse incroyable, toujours disponible, souriant et prêt à aider à tout moment. L’emplacement est idéal, proche de tout, ce qui permet de se déplacer facilement et de profiter pleinement ! La propreté et les équipements sont au top, tout est bien entretenu et confortable. Je recommande cet hôtel les yeux fermés et j’y reviendrai avec grand plaisir !

Super smooth check-in process and the place was prepared early for me to have enough time to shower and unpack before I had a call. The bed was extremely comfortable and the place is very well maintained. It is located in walking distance to the beach and the staff was lovely. Cleaning was impeccable. The only thing I was missing in the kitchen was a pot to make some food (there was a pan, though).

First night I had a noisy neighbour but the landlord contacted them the next day asking to please be quiet and from then onwards my stay was very smooth and quiet.

Loved the small boutique feel with the pool straight out my door… quiet, spacious, unique property that felt like home rather than a hotel… Aircon worked well and as a solo traveller I felt very safe with the locked front door and bedroom door!

The shower next to the toilet was a surprise but it is a very clean hotel and I wasn’t bothered by this

We love staying at the Kaktus . Wayan and her team are amazing and very helpful , they make you feel so welcome . Everything is clean and so private . The pool is always clean and refreshing . Nice and central to everything we need.

The driveway is a bit difficult to use in the wet season .

Perfect location & great staff

This gorgeous little villa was the best place I've ever stayed at in my 20 years of travelling to Bali! It's in the perfect location, walking distance through all the laneways in every direction for quick access to all areas of Legian. The villa was exceptionally clean on arrival and kepted clean by the beautiful Wayan each day. It's fully set up with a small kitchen including a full size fridge/freezer & gas cooktop. The villa is very spacious with the kitchen/lounge open area downstairs and a toilet. Then upstairs has a beautiful big bedroom with a small balcony & toilet/shower. The bed was super comfortable and the pillows too. The pool area was amazing. Very quiet & very clean also. I pretty much had the pool & the sun to myself each day but did meet a couple of other guests there briefly too. There are only 5 villas in total & being adults only it was the perfect place for a mum getaway week for me to relax & wind down. Overall Kaktus Botique apartments is absolutely stunning with the beautiful villas, pool, gardens & staff are all exceptional. I've only been home one day & missing my chats with Wayan already. She is the hardest working lady & such a beautiful soul. I hope to return again in the near future. Highly recommend this villa to anyone seeking a relaxed quiet place to stay away from the hustle & bustle & noise of the streets.

There's nothing I didn't like it was all wonderful. But one recommendation - for people checking in late at night or coming in late at night from elsewhere it may help keep the noise of the wooden doors slamming on their entry, if you put some signs up asking them to be quiet & consider other guests sleeping as the doors slamming travel into each villa at night.

The pool. It was clean. Nice styling

No shampoo, body wash. Tiny tiny ensuite with the shower right beside the toilet. And the toilet stink. Did not like the two level layout - felt like either stuck in your room or downstairs. Things were just not intuitive, like towels in the bedroom instead of in the ensuite. Difficult to find things. Air con worked but could not be sure if the remote actually changed the temperature as it always said 21 degrees so I sweated through every night. Front door code was incorrect which at the time was important as I was in desperate need of the bathroom.

Dit appartement heeft alles wat je maar kunt wensen. Het is een geweldig concept. De indeling, gebruik van materialen, stijl, kleuren, positionering van alles. Hier is echt over nagedacht. Je zult hier niets missen. Schoonmaak is geweldig. Zwembad top!

Ik kan echt niets noemen wat hier niet goed is. Ik heb op mijn reis nu al diverse appartementen gehad, maar Bali Kaktus is echt compleet uitgerust!

To be honest the only reason I don’t want to write a review is because I never want to miss out on being able to book here. The place is amazing! I have already booked for next year so I won’t miss out. 😊

Perfect for a week of R and R. Walking distance to gym, shops, restaurants and beach. Pool was great to relax after a long day. Staff were very friendly and always up for a chat.

The location was fantastic, close to the main room and quiet enough for sleep . Bedroom upstairs was great with air-conditioning and access to Disney+. I really liked the drying rack on balcony for my washing. Great additional plus was 2nd toilet downstairs. Kitchen facilities were great, although we did not use it during our stay. There was available drinking water also which was great. The owners were very receptive with my questions and able to help wherever possible! Thanks for the great stay in Bali!

I am not use to a wet room shower, so was not use to everything in the bathroom getting wet. I would have liked if there was some hooks inside the bathroom to hang your towel or clothes (it is available on the outside of the door). Other than this, everything else was great.

We loved everything about this property. Great location, and the apartment was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Staff were lovely. Fantastic having the drinking water supplied too!

Everything was very good

Great location, set back down the lane from the busy main road, Jalan Legian. The villas are beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. With only a small number of villas, and being adults only, it was quiet and we pretty much had the pool to ourselves. We ate breakfasts and other meals at some of the great cafes and restaurants nearby and we walked everywhere we wanted to go. Lots of great shopping within a short walk. There's a laundry service right on the doorstep and a small mini mart. The staff were delightful and our rooms were cleaned beautifully each day. I would definitely return for another stay.
