Sunshine, Peaceful and the Best Harbour Views

Loved the views, was up for sunrise both mornings and previous Picton residents ourselves we loved looking at our past homes and workplaces from our doorstep with a coffee! A fantastic, well set up, very comfortable beachy haven! Loved it, Thank you!

We loved the peaceful hillside location with its stunning harbour views, where we could watch the ferries and boats come and go. The house was spotless, spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and the thoughtful touches, such as the chocolates and welcome card, made our stay even more special. Everything was perfect and we would happily stay here again.

Superb location and views. Extra comfy, everything we needed plus lots of extras. Excellent communication, to make check in and out super easy. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would like to return and stay longer.

It had fabulous views, was very well appointed, very comfortable and we had great communication with the host. Highly recommended.

The views were breathtaking and the accommodation well-appointed and close to the town centre. We enjoyed visiting the local wineries, the Makana Chocolate Factory and the Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre - all of which we'd thoroughly recommend. Our lovely neighbour also kindly dropped off some peaches from her tree which were wonderful!

The shared driveway was very steep and narrow with multiple properties accessing it.

The view to the harbour is great and the place is well equiped.

A superb apartment perched on a hill overlooking Picton Town and harbour. The view is incredible and it was a joy to watch the activity in the harbour and town. The apartment was spacious, sparklingly clean, quiet and with excellent facilities in the kitchen, lounge and bathroom. There is free on site parking available. The owners of the apartment (who don't live on site) very kindly allowed us to check in early and we're very friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend staying here.

Schöne Wohnung in exponierter Lage oberhalb von Picton. Die Wohnung ist gut eingerichtet, es fehlte an nichts. Eigener überdachter Abstellplatz für ein Auto ist vorhanden, die Zufahrt ist steil wir hatten aber keine Probleme damit. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war problemlos, schnell und lösungsorientiert.

Leider hat sich vor Ort erst herausgestellt, dass der Grill nicht nutzbar ist. Die Wohnung hat eine sehr kleine Terrasse.

What a view & the apartment was beautiful and comfortable. Was a lovely way to spend a few days and not in a hotel! The washing machine was VERY helpful too. and provided some eco washing detergent

Toller Blick auf den Hafen von Picton, saubere, ruhige und schöne Wohnung.

Das Bett mit einer Breite von ca. 1,40 Metern ist unserer Meinung nach für 2 Personen zu schmal. Aber es gibt noch eine Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer.

Steep hill, but owner is clear about this so not a problem. Crockery looked tired. Bedroom door wouldn't close because of position of bed. Previous guest commented on this but owner stated bed must have been moved. Wouldn't close for me & I definitely didn't move the bed.

The view is breathtaking. A lovely spot for a 2 day getaway. The apartment had everything we needed. The chocolate was a nice touch too.

* Superb views over the town and the bay * very comfortable furniture * light and airy apartment * easy walking distance to the central Picton ( though the climb back up to the apartnent was a bit of a work-out!) * washing machine with detergent

* the induction hob was unlike any we have ever come across ( we are very widely travelled!) and the complexity of its use was very irritating. We found it impossible to gently simmer anything or to fine tune the extent to which something boiled. Crazy! * insufficient toilet paper and washing-up liquid provided * banging and what sounded like party noise from the folk in the flat above us was distracting not least because the property is marketed as 'peaceful'!

Location was great - an eight minute walk into Picton and 10-12 back as it is uphill on the return. There is a short steep section which might not suit everyone but if you have even moderate fitness it will be fine. The views are amazing and the location was perfect for us.

They mentioned a bluetooth speaker which we didn't find but we ended up playing music through the TV. It was unseasonably cold whilst we were there and there was only one heater which we moved between the lounge and the bedroom - but this ended up being fine. It wouldn't be an issue in normal weather. We would prefer blackout curtains in the bedroom as it was light early and, combined with the noise from the port there was no sleep in - but again a minor issue and not within their control. Overall a very satisfying stay.

I have a bad back so the bed was a little uncomfortable for me.

The name of the accomodation doesn't lie, a wonderful view over Picton! Communication with the hosts was very good and the guestbook where all guests give some tips about the area is a nice touch to get some inspiration on what you really should check out. Cooking in the apartment is works fine.

The ceiling fan is a little bit low if you are (around 2m) tall.
