Beautiful escape from reality. The property is a tropical haven

The food at this hotel was wonderful, we loved that evening meals are all à la carte and that you do not have to pre book.

That you could not sit in the beach without paying for a sunbed/ cabana. I don’t object to paying for a cabana, but we chose this hotel because it was on the beach and I expected to be able to use it. The main pool is very noisy and full of Americans pushing their drinks around on floats! The pool water was very warm, almost as if it’s heated so it was not a good way to cool off in the heat.

It was an amazing experience.

Absolutely everything we couldn’t fault it. Food and variety of foods was excellent. The choice of restaurants and bars brilliant and the staff clearly enjoy their jobs and nothing was too much trouble. We were spoilt with all the little extras and all you had to do was ask and it was provided. The pool, the common areas was all spotless.

Ce n’est pas que je n’ai pas aimé, mais il y a 10 ans le restaurant au bord de la mer était un buffet matin et midi. Il était plus facile de manger léger. Maintenant c’est un restaurant à la carte pour le déjeuner, le midi et le soir. Par contre la nourriture est très bonne

De ruimtelijke opzet was geweldig, je liep elkaar nooit in de weg. Onze kamer lag direct aan het strand wat ook voor een verkoelende bries zorgde. De keuze qua restaurants en maaltijden was overweldigend en van top kwaliteit, op een enkele uitzondering na. De zwembaden leken wel zwem-meren , zo groot. Adults-only gaf de nodige extra rust. Er was veel wildlife op het park wat de sfeer en ambiance verder vergrootte. Personeel; merendeels zeer vriendelijk. Niets was te veel, alles kon of werd geregeld.

Een enkele maaltijd was iets minder, maar gemiddeld van hoge kwaliteit.

Believe the reviews of others . I have gone to other all inclusive resorts in the Riviera Maya for twenty years. This is my new go to resort, My wife and I liked the age 30-70 age range. There was something to do for all adults in this huge resort. We plan on going back.

Here’s a view point of two introvert, non-drinking, 40-year-old Europeans. Pros: - super friendly, hospitable and attentive staff - consistently great service at every touch point - Beautiful grounds and beach - Wild life - the animals made it special - Breakfast and lunch buffets were delicious, good variety - healthy options, but also lots of treats, local foods and much more - We asked to change rooms on the first day and that went super smoothly, no hassle at all. We are not usually ones to complain about anything so for us to do that and everything going so smoothly was really big deal. - The coffee shop was one of the best things about the resort. - The Golden Pool. It was chill, mostly quiet, waiter service for drinks and snacks, not crowded, perfect for relaxing (unlike the main pool).

Cons: - Dinners - we would have preferred a dinner buffet over all the separate theme restaurants. The quality of the restaurant food was lower than the breakfast and lunch buffet. The food at the ”Asian” restaurant was honestly bad and nothing like we have ever eaten in Asia, the menu descriptions didn’t match what was brought to us. The restaurants were also way more crowded and hectic than the buffet. - The dinner dress codes were stressful and old fashioned. We are a female couple and both always dress well yet having to think that we need ”dressy sandals” to get into a restaurant felt so dated. At the end of the trip we mainly opted for room service or cafe snacks as dinner because we felt like the dinners were such a hassle. - The room AC only had two settings: on or off (it was only off if a balcony or room door was open). For us the AC was way too cold to have on at night so we had the balcony door open which then made the room a little damp. - Our first room was on the ground floor and had very little light, it smelled really damp and we both had allergic reactions to it. Luckily we got moved to a top floor room that was so much better. - The drinks by the pool (soft drinks) were really watery and flat. Not a pro or a con, just a remark on the genral vibe - the resort seemed to be 90% North Americans, mainly middle aged guests, and a lot of loud day drinking at the main pool. Alcohol was very much a central theme, which just isn’t our thing.

Atmosfera, servizio in camera impeccabile, qualità del servizio, personale sempre disponibile, ottima qualità e varietà del cibo oltre le aspettative. Pulizia continua ovunque. Esperienza davvero eccellente.

It was tough to watch other guests be rude to the waitstaff. But I suppose you'll get that wherever you go.

Three major problems First they sprayed for bugs Around eight o'clock in the morning And had bug poisoning On many people's food at the open-air restaurants Second You have to take your phone with you everywhere you go because QR code is the only way you can read the venues Period I personally like to put my phone in the safe and leave it there for the whole week It The music at the swimming pool way too loud and for too long In like eight hours of constant music loud blaring rock music that I didn't care to listen to Period they're alternative places to go But the main pool is not very conducive if you like a relaxing environment

Wish there was a better system for reserving habachi and that we could order sushi at the Ginger tables, not just at the sushi bar. Airport transportation expensive.

Die wunderschöne Anlage bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten, die man sich nur wünschen kann. Das gesamte Personal ist äußerst aufmerksam, herzlich und serviceorientiert. Am Frühstücksbuffet dürfen sich die Gäste auf eine außergewöhnlich große Vielfalt bei bester Qualität freuen. An den Pools und am Strand wird man von fröhlichen und sehr aufmerksamen Servicekräften mit leckeren Drinks und Cocktails verwöhnt. Die Poollandschaft ist fantastisch und der weiße Sandstrand und das türkisblaue Meer bezaubernd.

In den à-la-Carte-Restaurants kann man leider vorab keine Tische reservieren, so dass es hin und wieder zu Wartezeiten kommen kann.

We loved everything about the Valentin, especially the staff! We were there with a group of 29 people for a Bachelor party and everyone we met was super pleasant. We would definitely stay here again.

Some of the food is hit or miss but that is every all-inclusive! We found great options at each restaurant.

Nice resort

This place was magical. The staff are so incredibly kind and fun. Between the beach access, large popular pool and smaller quieter pools, you can really craft your perfect vacation. The on site Martini Bar and Sports Bar offer great pre/post dinner options. All of the restaurants were lovely and offered great variety. The spa was absolutely excellent the massage I will be dreaming about until my next one! Can't wait to come back.

We had an amamzing stay at the Valentin! First timers and will be returning. The property is so beautiful and it was some of the best resort food we’ve ever had. The pool entertainment is awesome. All around 10/10

Activities were great. Staff was amazing on-site and off. We meet a few downtown and they recognized us and were very friendly and helpful. I didn't like that you had a dress code for slacks and shoes for every restaurant at dinner. I may want to dress up once, maybe twice but not every night. You need at least one place that is casual every night.

VIM offers the perfect balance between tranquility and fun. You can choose to relax alone in a quiet area or join in on the lively activities. The lush trees and greenery create a serene, natural vibe. The staff is friendly and welcoming throughout the entire property—you truly feel at home. We're already planning our next trip back to the Valentin Imperial!

The biggest issue here was the service. With the amount of money you’re paying to be there, I didn’t feel they were very accommodating. No one was really going out of their way to make our stay top notch. Also if you don’t have the Prive package they basically don’t care about you. I would say for a couples trip this would be fine but for a group it was not great.

It's very sunny in Mexico, perhaps a few umbrellas around the pool. For convenience say, opposed to key cards for the rooms, maybe wristband key access

My husband and I had a fabulous 4-night stay. The food was delicious, well-presented, and very high quality - even the buffet. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. As newbies to the resort, we felt like we were treated as part of a family. We understood why we met so many guests who were on their 3rd or 4th stay. The morning yoga class was perfectly challenging and relaxing, especially when it was on the beach. Plenty of space around and in the pools. Everything about the resort was so well executed and presented - the perfect amount of luxury without being pretentious. We can't wait to go back!

We had a good experience at the resort. Beautiful scenery and landscaping. One thing we didn’t like was charging of the cabana on the beach. The restaurants were very accommodating and the bartenders were great! Shout out to all the bartenders at the pool bar, next to the food truck! Amazing service! The housekeeping was exceptional as well. Delighted to have the room cleaned each day, but was impressed with the night shift, turning down our bed, closing the blinds etc.

Always a wonderful property the staff make the hotel from Food and beverage is 5 stars and housekeeping to maintenance to concierge service they are all 5 stars to us , we have been there over 30 times and will continue to come again and again !

Room was nice, Majority of the staff was friendly and helpful. Spa/massages were amazing!!! BUT, there was construction going on right above our room so we were woken up EVERY morning with continuous loud hours long banging. 2 restaurants were closed every night. We upgraded to the Privilege package but it didn’t start until the 2nd day and even then we never got the flowers that were supposed to be included, we only got the lobster twice, and there was no difference in making dinner reservations than our friends had that didn’t get the upgrade. So, not worth the additional $85 per person per day, IMO. The food wasn’t bad but wasn’t great. Seemed to be everyone’s opinion that we met. Did the CocoBongo excursion…. Was sold as a show…. Definitely just a night club with some performance cameos. You’re there until 3a, and while it wasn’t quite the show we were hoping it was, it was one heck of a party! All in all, it was a fun time because we met some great people!

Valentin is an excellent resort for a little getaway. It is very quiet, staff are very friendly and polite.

Food was not good. In most cases not cooked. Selected king bed and was told I had to upgrade. Felt like it was a bait and switch. Paid extra money for upgrade. Told we aould get champagne brought to the room. Never showed. I've been to other property and this one was sub par.

It was our third time at the property. The last time was 10 yrs prior. The first time was when the property was new. Certian things were a little tired. All the service people couldnt be nicer. I would say the front desk people were a little hard to communicate with a couple of times, they reallyneed people that have a full grasp of english. Oh and forget aboit transfer email to arrange transfers from airport, no body will answer. Once you are at resort everything was very smooth going to airport.

The nature of the property very beautiful and maintained

No air condition for the buffet most of the restaurants are very humid Be ready to sweat during dinner. Would like to add men must wear dress in slacks to all restaurants but 2 I would suggest nice dress shorts for the guys due to lack of cool restaurants and Mexico is very hot and humid. Not a lot of food opinions would suggest looking over the menus at all the restaurants if you’re a picky eater. Over all food I’d give a 5. Seafood dishes are very fishy.

Everything about the property was amazing. The staff was friendly, really made it feel like home. This place has everything, from food to entertainment and spanning over 14 acres I could not even see everything in a week. I was impressed with the shows, and daily activities. Pablo and Isreal did amazing on the bike ride, and really seemed to have a passion for what they do. The energy from this place exceeded all my expectations!

There is really nothing, in the week I was at this resort that I can say I did not like. It was amazing overall!

Very nice place, our stay was phenomenal. We have stayed in many similar places but this one is by far the best, my research and evaluations have paid off. Every staff member was friendly, professional and ensured we are well taken care of. Beach did not have seaweed except one morning (it is seaweed season in this area) but the hotel ensures the sand gets cleaned daily. This is a jungle style paradise, you’d see plenty of wildlife and we have witnessed turtles laying eggs at the hotel beach among other animals that stay away from humans. Pool water is warm, but the entertainment was excellent. Sairee and her team at the entertainment/activities are spectacular 6/5 ⭐️. Men have to wear pants, closed shoes, and a collar shirt in order to enjoy the themed restaurants; this keeps the environment classy yet fun. Japanese and French restaurants are amazing, the Italian being our least favorite. Happiness is guaranteed in this resort. Definitely coming back. Most guests we have spoken with have returned 4-5 times and counting, it says something. I would stay away from the transportation Expedia has as an option. They are not accommodating and careless, we found they are pricier than a taxi fare

Nice resort but food wasn’t good. Had a couple meals that were good. The rest weren’t appetizing. Also, too many restaurants were closed for the day or closed early which was very annoying. Staff were very friendly.

This resort has everything you’d want, it is truly all inclusive, and the food is amazing.

I was very disappointed with the room .

Overall it was an incredible experience. The beauty, quietness, and access to the beach were amazing. L’Alsace’s food was not very good. We leafy and went to l’Olivo and it was superb. Also the checkout experience was not explained and not very friendly. We will still be coming back because it is now our favorite place to stay in Cancun!

The whole resort felt like paradise!! Everyone was soo nice and there was so much to do everyday we were there. Definitely recommend atleast 1-2 weeks to fully experience the whole resort. Can’t wait to go back!!

Such a peaceful place, the emerald room was perfect with the ocean view and that amazing bathtub!

Absolutely amazing property and staff. Lucy at the Golden pool was amazing as well as Jose at the main pool and beach bars. The food was wonderful and very well presented. Definitely will be returning for our next trip to Mexico.

The amount of reviews I read from repeat visitors was spot on. The Valentin property and staff were exceptional and the overall experience was phenomenal. They have made another repeat visitor for sure.
