Reviewed Aug 4, 2026The hotel has excellent location. Train station is 10 minutes to walk and bus connections are 2 minutes. Many nice small restaurants around as well as groceries stores. The check in was swift and very welcoming.vWe felt straight as at home. The Japanese and western breakfast was top notch. Nice and attentive service and good quality kitchen. We liked the different bath salts ( pick it up at the reception desk)as well and we used them after a whole day of sightseeing. Housekeeping was very good. The Apa chain has very good standards and we highly recommend this hotel when in Kyoto.

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026Sehr freundliches Personal.

Reviewed Jun 23, 2026Breakfast was lovely and healthy. As a traditional Japanese food lover. I can say the rice bowl toppings is the best. Super healthy. With fresh salmon, yam, tarako and so many more. I’d love to have my breakfast again there. They even have kale juice as well. If you have those Japanese breakfast. No need for breads. Cute little window of grassplants and waving japanese bamboo.
The noise from the street cars in front. I hope they have those joise window-blocking thing.
