CASA DO CANAL

Petite maison pleine de charme et emplacement idéal. Les pièces sont petites, mais tout est là, qualitatif et parfaitement entretenu. Et voilà, vous êtes face à la mer, face à Sao Jorge, le calme est total, juste le bruit des vagues. Très beaux extérieurs en pierre de lave noir, magique. Hôte à l’écoute et très sympathique. Une maison vivante ou l’on aime rester le temps d’un séjour.

Gezellig en sfeervol ingericht huisje met comfortabele bedden, heerlijke dikke handdoeken. En speciale handdoeken voor naar het 'strand'. Goed ingerichte keuken met voldoende borden en bestek. In de tuin met uitzicht op Pico, 2 ligbedden. Er is een wasmachine en een droger. Na ruim een week elders op reis was het fijn sportkleding en strandlakens te kunnen wassen. De host gaf ons uitgebreide tips over wat te doen en te zien.

Die Lage war absolut schön, man konnte die Liegestühle auf der Terrasse nutzen oder geschützt unter dem Dach auf der Terrasse sitzen, gemütlich seinen Wein trinken und aufs Meer schauen. Helena, die Gastgeberin ist außerordentlich sympathisch und herzlich und sehr um das Wohlergehen ihrer Gäste bemüht. Man erhält Tipps und Unterstützung und es wird deutlich, dass es ihr ein Anliegen ist, dass ihre Gäste sich wohlfühlen. Wir hatten zum Empfang eine Flasche Wein im Kühlschrank sowie fanden wir Käse, Marmelade und Butter vor. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort übernachten, ein Ort zum Entspannen und Erholen. Restaurants und ein Supermarkt sind auch in der Nähe. Einfach nur schön.

Ein kleines Schmuckstück auf der Insel. Wer Ruhe und Komfort sucht ist hier richtig.

Die Ausstattung der Unterkunft ist der Wahnsinn, es hat an nichts gefehlt.

The beautiful house is located directly in the water. We enjoyed our mornings having coffee watching the sun rise over Sao Jorge, rainbows after a rain shower on the mountains, and sunsets to the west. The house has everything you can need and more. It was immaculately clean, and well appointed. The best part was our wonderful host who was so gracious with her time. You can feel the love Helena has for her house as soon as you book the property. Helene’s was a joy to communicate with, supplied us with amply information and recommendations for the our stay. We can’t recommend Casa Do Canal enough. Truly a gem in Pico!

Sehr ruhig gelegen, direkter Blick auf das Wasser / Hafen , gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes ursprüngliches Lavasteinhäuschen, was es an nichts fehlen lies. Die Gastgeberin hatte uns zur Begrüßung mit Wein und kleinen Köstlichkeiten der Insel verwöhnt und war stets mit Informationen und Rat zur Seite.

Het huis was geweldig. Alles wat je mogelijk nodig hebt was aanwezig, wasmachine, droger, oven, fornuis, BBQ faciliteiten. De keuken was heel compleet en er stonden heel veel kruiden en olijfolie klaar om te gebruiken. Een grote bos bloemen, wijn, brood en kaas als warm welkom. Er is een kleine supermarkt en twee restaurants op loopafstand. We hebben de host Helena niet gezien, omdat ze aan het werken was, maar we hebben veel contact via de app gehad. Ze gaf goede tips over wat te doen en restaurants en reageerde direct op vragen. We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad op Pico en Casa do Canal is een echte aanrader om te verblijven!

We kunnen niets bedenken.

Wenn ich mehr als 10 Punkte geben könnte, würde ich es machen. Ein kleines Steinhaus in fantastischer Lage: direkt über die Klippen mit Blick auf die Insel Sao Jorge. Mit viel Liebe für Details eingerichtet.. Es war alles vorhanden , Handtücher in ausreichender Menge, sogar Strandtücher, Waschmaschine und sogar einen Trockner. Auf der kleinen Terrasse viele unterschiedliche Sitzgelegenheiten sowie 2 Liegen und einen Sonnenschirm. Die sehr freundliche Besitzerin hat nachgefragt ob wir alles haben und hat uns viele Tipps gegeben .

Наше пребывание в этом доме было по-настоящему незабываемым. С первых минут чувствовалось, что здесь всё сделано с любовью и заботой о гостях. Дом очень уютный, красивый и безупречно чистый — продумана каждая деталь для комфортного отдыха. Особенно приятно было внимание хозяйки. При заезде нас ждали милые подарки, а также подробные рекомендации о доме, острове и всех важных местах поблизости. Она была невероятно доброжелательной, отзывчивой и всегда готовой помочь. Благодаря этому мы чувствовали себя не просто гостями, а словно приехали домой. Отдельного восхищения заслуживает терраса с видом на океан. Это настоящее волшебство — встречать там рассветы и провожать закаты, наслаждаясь шумом волн, тишиной и покоем. Такие моменты остаются в памяти надолго. Это место подарило нам ощущение уюта, гармонии и полного отдыха. Если мы снова окажемся на этом острове, то без сомнений выберем именно этот дом. Огромное спасибо хозяйке за её гостеприимство и душевное отношение!

Helena’s home is a treasure! A typical Azorian home built with love. The patio with a view of the ocean was breathtaking. The house was spotless and very comfortable and the amenities were modern and in excellent condition. The downstairs living area surrounds you with lava stone and ambient lighting. Helena was a wonderful host. She gave us many great suggestions about the island. She left Azorian bread, cheese, and wine for us.

It was exceptional in every way. It was a traditional house with modern amenities. It was exceptionally well equipped for comfort. It had a complete kitchen, with everything one could need including spices! Helena made us feel very welcome and did so much research to answer all our questions. Her thoroughness made it so we could relax quickly and enjoy our stay in Pico.

Très jolie maison, juste a côté de l' océan. Très bien équipé et très propre.La propriétaire est aux petits soins, même a distance. Le village est petit mais vous y trouverez tout ce qu il vous faut.

Manque d isolation au niveau des portes, surtout celle de la chambre.

Casa do Canal is ideal for holidays. It is located in front of the ocean. The garden is very comfortable and permits to dinner outside. You can rest comfortably there and appreciate silence and the peace of the place. The house is fully equipped and very nice. It has the typical style of the house in Pico. It has huge black walls and red doors and windows. We could not find a better location !

Onestly, I do not have any suggestions. Our experience was fantastic.

Beautiful place with an amazing location and wonderful views! Helena was an incredible host, friendly and communicated with us as needed! Definitely reccommend, eveything was as we had hoped!

De locatie ligt direct aan de oceaan met zicht op buureiland Sao Jorge. De tuin is groot en comfortabel. Het huis zelf is echt van alle gemakken voorzien. Er is niets dat je zal missen. Het contact met Helena was erg goed. We hadden leuke appconversaties. Haar service level is erg hoog en laat niets te wensen over.

A wonderful cottage in a beautiful location! Everything was perfectly arranged and we felt so at home and it was so peaceful. Helena, the owner, took care of everything down to the last detail, ensuring we had a fantastic stay. Great, clear, and friendly communication with lots of helpful tips about Pico. We loved the warm welcome with wine, local treats. The cottage had everything we needed, from a great shower with plenty of towels to even laundry facilities. We truly enjoyed and loved our stay.🫶

La maison face à la mer dans un petit village tranquille

Schon beim Ankommen haben wir uns in die Casa do Canal verliebt. Hinter der roten Tür verbirgt sich kein gewöhnliches Ferienhaus, sondern ein liebevoll gestaltetes Zuhause, das Helena & Manuel mit ganz viel Herz geschaffen haben. Zur Begrüßung standen Brot, Käse, Marmelade und ein Glas Terras de Lava Wein für uns bereit – sogar der Tisch war mit frischen Hortensien geschmückt. Die Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer ist ein Traum: Hier genießt man spektakuläre Sonnenuntergänge, hört das Rauschen der Wellen und die einzigartigen Rufe der Cagarros, beobachtet Eidechsen und Fledermäuse – und findet unzählige kleine Lieblingsplätze zum Verweilen. Das Haus selbst ist perfekt ausgestattet, absolut sauber und bietet alles, was man braucht: zwei gemütliche Schlafzimmer, eine tolle Küche, ein schönes Wohnzimmer (das wir nicht genutzt haben, weil die Terrasse so unwiderstehlich war) und sogar eine Waschmaschine, die sehr praktisch war. Ein kleiner Badeplatz liegt nur eine Minute zu Fuß entfernt. Auch die Lage ist ideal: 30 Minuten nach Madalena, 30 Minuten nach Lajes und nur 20 Minuten ins wunderschöne Hochland – perfekt, um Pico in alle Richtungen zu entdecken. Besonders nach unserem Aufenthalt auf São Miguel haben wir es genossen, dass Pico so friedlich, entspannt und überhaupt nicht überlaufen ist. Helena & Manuel sind zauberhafte Gastgeber, die an alles denken, liebevoll erklären und jederzeit erreichbar sind. Dank ihnen fühlten wir uns von der ersten Minute an willkommen, geborgen und bestens umsorgt. Ein Aufenthalt voller Herz, Meerblick und unvergesslicher Momente – danke, liebe Helena & lieber Manuel, für dieses besondere Erlebnis auf Pico!

Casa Do Canal est un endroit extraordinaire où il est agréable de séjourner avec une belle vue sur la mer. Il ne manque rien et Helena est toujours disponible pour nous renseigner. On ne peut qu’y passer d’excellentes vacances!

Tout est parfait

Tout était parfait, emplacement magique, confort, beaucoup de place, espace extérieur avec superbe vue, belle maison, confortable, calme, couchers de soleil incroyables, mer pour se baigner juste à 2 minutes à pied, grande gentillesse et accueil exceptionnel de la propriétaire.

Helena was very helpful and always available when I contacted her. The location was peaceful and beautiful. The cottage was cozy and had everything we needed. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in and the shower had great water pressure.

Un petit bijou d'hébergement à l'aplomb de l'océan. Tout était parfait, la cuisine, la chambre à coucher, le salon qui se trouvait au rez-de-chaussée (très grande pièce et très confortable). Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison était très rustique, partiellement en pierre de lave, avec un coin de jardin dominant la mer. L'endroit était très tranquille. L'hôte fût très disponible. Nous recommandons vivement cette maison pleine de charme.

Arrivés de nuit nous avons eu de la peine à trouver la boîte sécurisée pour prendre la clé d'entrée.

What a lovely well equipped and comfortable traditional style cottage. Beautifully cared for with added extra touches which we were grateful for. The location was hard to beat with views over the sea and mountains at the back. Great terraced garden to enjoy and a quiet location for a restful stay. Helena was extremely helpful and communicative throughout our stay.

Un endroit charmant, une maison avec du caractère et chaleureuse. Tout était impeccable et propre. Et de petites attentions à l’arrivée! Une vue magnifique directement sur la mer et Sao Jorge. Une hôtesse remarquable.

Die liebevolle Einrichtung, die technisch komplette Ausstattung, ganz besonders zu erwähnen, die kombinierte Warmluft-und Klimaanlage, alles was das Herz begehrt ist vor Ort. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen und haben hier für uns eine perfekte Unterkunft gefunden. Sehr fürsorgliche und nette Vermieterin, unkomplizierte Rücksprache.

Beautiful location, helpful owner, clean, comfortable beds, everything you need, only the weather isn't controllable 😉. Small windows, but it keeps all the island very authentic and charming.

Everything about this place is excellent. The location is great, the house itself so cosy, the host is really attentive and it is a real home from home. We could have stayed here for a month we were so happy even though the weather was awful. Honestly there is nothing about this house we did not think was superb.

Schönes Haus an traumhafter Lage am Meer. Sehr hilfsbereite und herzliche Gastgeberin. Betten sehr bequem. Küche super ausgerüstet. Es wurde einfach an alles gedacht. Pico hat uns überwältigt. Wir kommen gerne zurück in dieses Traumhaus auf dieser Trauminsel.

Just everything

The house is just amazing! The lovely renovated lava stone beach cottage feels luxurious and has everything you’d need (there are teas and coffee and the host even welcomes you with a wine, how sweet). We loved the seafront location and late night dinners at the garden with nothing but sea in front of you. The matraces are very comfortable so the sleeping was great.

Everything was so on point, the host was super helpful and welcoming and make sure we had everything we could desire for. The house is cozy and fully equipped.
