The place was very clean

I booked this stay for one person through Booking.com and was immediately assisted at reception. I was also asked whether I would be okay with my luggage. Fortunately, I only had an overnight bag, so I managed perfectly well on my own. The room was beautiful and felt more like a self-catering unit than a traditional hotel room. I was very impressed with the décor — everything was tastefully done. The bathroom was comfortable, and I have to mention the shower: what a powerful shower! I thoroughly enjoyed it. 🚿😊 One thing I did miss, however, was a convenient charging point for my cellphone. I searched the entire room and could only find three-point plugs. So, if you are planning to stay here, remember to bring an adapter if you need one for your phone. Luckily, I eventually realised that I could charge my phone using my laptop. It charged considerably slower, but hey — it worked! 😂 There were two bottles of water in the fridge, and this is where my little adventure began. I struggled to open them. The caps had the type of seal that you are supposed to pull off, but apparently I was stronger than the bottle expected — I managed to break the seal! 🙈 I called reception, and they kindly sent someone to help me. With a fork and me holding the bottle firmly, we eventually managed to get it open. I then thought, “Well, while you are here, let's open the second one too.” Of course, exactly the same thing happened — the seal broke again! 🙈😂 So, another round with the fork and we finally succeeded. My advice: pack a bottle opener! In fact, I have one on my keyring, but guess where it was? At home. Now it is safely tucked away in my handbag — reserved for a “SOS situation”! 😂 I also enjoyed lunch at the restaurant. I was quite surprised when my starter and main course arrived at the same time. Perhaps the waiters could be reminded that the starter comes first, followed by the main course — unless, of course, they were testing how hungry I was!

Maybe a bottle opener in the room as well as a two point plug.

Not much to write home about.

1. The road going there at night is too dark and scary. 2. The bed is old and uncomfortable 3. The aircon is too old and doesn't work properly 4. Some staff are just lazy and sit there doing nothing without helping even with bags. I mean why are they there? No offering of a trolley at least. Poor service 4. The shower is too small that a big person can ever fit in. Anew must take people serious. The furniture is of 1900. Come on Anew. I know it's not all of them but why can't they be standard 5. Fortunately, I didn't order breakfast. I wonder how it could have been

Everything about it was the excellent

The level of noise from the other guests was too much. I understood that they were there for a conference and had paid.. But should have been civil towards others. It went on until very late at night and about 5am they were already up and talking.. The loud knocks on their doors, shouting each other's names . This is not the hotels fault but should have been managed

The feeling that you far away from home , but even tho you not , the build was beautiful, the view was amazing even tho had a highway right there

The restaurant Ciello was very expensive and money wise not worth , the buffet for supper and maybe lunch time isn't worth the 400 rand they want you to pay , they breakfast was good , but was apart of the hotel package, I dont even want to know what they charge for breakfast buffet, they are to expensive

No hot water. No communication. Four days at this hotel and not once was the hot water fixed. Spending alot of money in this accommodation and no communication and was not moved to a better room. The frustration after giving time to fix the issues is at its highest. Will not book here again.

1. The room was clean on arrival 2. There was hair on the dressing and in the cup 3. Amenities were not refilled (tea and coffee, bathrooms 4. Towels were not replaced 5. WIFI was not activated on Smart TV, platforms such as Netflix and Youtube were not accesible 6. Toilet was blocked when flushing 7. Widows were left opened given the freezing weather condition

The size of the cups are very small and requires one to refill the coffee frequently which may also affects the enjoyment of the breakfast.

I have slept here more than once, and I feel they don't put effort into cleaning. This time it was worse because the things I saw underneath the bed I don't want to mention. The dust also under the beds tjo!

Despite the shuttle, the location for tourists before or after departure is, in my opinion, inconvenient. It's very far from the airport. There's nothing nearby. And if you don't have a car, you're stuck on the hotel grounds. The furniture and furnishings definitely need updating. There's a problem with the outlets. There's not a single outlet for a European plug, and there aren't any outlets at all near the work desk. There's a microwave. That's a huge bonus, no doubt about it. But again, there's nowhere to plug it in! That's very strange. The breakfast area is very compact. The hotel was fully booked, and breakfast was crowded. There was a line for food, and there were no free seats in the dining room.

The location was perfect and the staff were very professional and polite and the hotel room was very clean.

I had higher expectations for breakfast. I only had two eggs and two sausages. I was under the impression it was a breakfast buffet. Otherwise my stay was good.

Everything was great. We stayed a short time as we checked in early hours of the morning after a long trip from Mpumalanga to Gauteng.

I wish we could have stayed longer as we checked in so late but understand the rules of the establishment. Traffic delayed our trip and therefore we had no option but to book late and arrive late.

The room had a mat that is ugly and dirty. It would’ve been better if there was no mat at all. And that aircon, it’s either you remove it or replace it cause when you switch it on it makes such a weird sound. Also remove that brown fan, it’s ugly.

I liked the restaurant. The space outside for the children. Our washing machine didnt work. So they offered free washing.

Our friend was moved to 2 bedroom apartment but booked standard double room,no extra charge. When we wanted to move next door to him, they charge an enormous amount. When we got home at night our large towels were taken but not replaced, only had small ones. The was a garbage bag, torn open at the swimming pool. It seems that there is very little gardening. Our dishwasher and washing machine didnt work. We were 4 and had only 3 chairs.

The outside part of the Hotel is amazing . The building itself looks wonderful . The lake , the view , amazing !!! Oh and the shuttle service to OR , that was a plus!

When you walk into the room , it feels like you’re walking into a totally different world . It’s really not giving the idea one gets when they arrive at the gate. For instance, my room seemed a bit dull , with two doors attached at each side of the room so you can basically hear what the other people are doing in the other rooms . The lighting , mhm not the best . The room telephone doesn’t work .But my stay it was okay I guess . Atleast the staff are friendly and helped me with my bags.
