Service uitstekend! Ze willen je overal bij helpen! Ontbijt is geweldig en uitgebreid. Elke dag anders, wij bleven 3 nachten. Kamer is groot en netjes! Met de shortcut maar 5 min van het centrum.

The family who own the property were so lovely. The room was immaculate and the decorative touches were so beautiful. It was our honeymoon and the room was decorated with flowers which was really sweet. The breakfast was amazing and so tasty. The owner also arranged for us to go on safari to Yala national park and sorted drivers for us. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay.

Ein sehr schönes, modernes und liebevoll eingerichtetes Zimmer mit sehr schöner Aussicht, auch für den Sonnenuntergang! Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker und man bekommt es auf seine eigene Terrasse serviert, was super ist! Das Hotel liegt perfekt um nah am Zentrum zu sein, aber trotzdem ruhig! Sehr nettes Personal, die sich sehr gut um alles kümmern! Wäre am Liebsten noch länger in dem Zimmer geblieben!

The accomodation is located very central and you can reach many interesting places by walking (5 minutes to main street / city center with many shops and restaurants, 5 minutes to Nine Arches Bridge trailhead and 20 minutes to Little Adam's peak trailhead). The rooms and the outdoor area are very clean and beautifully designed. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. They prepared very good and beatifully arranged breakfast for us and also offer cost-effective laundry and tuktuk service.

The communication in English was okay, but could be better.

The staff there were great. The room was clean and comfortable.

The owner messaged us on the morning we were leaving (2:30am) to tell us we had to pay cash which hadn’t been told before. The upstairs room was very loud and couldn’t sleep well but that could be the guests. The wifi was horrible and hardly worked. The owner said he would look into it but we never heard back from him. Again the staff on sight were great.

Although it’s only a 5-minute walk from the center, it feels like a peaceful little oasis where you can truly relax and enjoy the privacy. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. I was staying there on my birthday, and they surprised me with a lovely “Happy Birthday” message on the bed. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made my day even more special. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, especially the fresh fruit. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Ella!

Humid room, but thats typical for Sri Lanka.

We stayed for 3 nights in total. The room is modern and clean. There was everything we needed in the room, from the umbrella to the fly protector cream. Pasidu and his brother are very interested, they helped us in everything for our comfort. Breakfast was amazing. The breakfast and coffee we had in the garden were very enjoyable. There are 2 ways to transport. One of the roads shown on the map, this road is wide enough for vehicles to pass. The second way is a path and a shortcut. It takes 5 minutes to get off the center from that road. They will come to Ella, I recommend la casa bella.

Die Unterkunft ist toll und wir haben von einer auf 3 Nächte verlängert. Die Familie ist super lieb und das Frühstück war jeden Tag abwechslungsreich. Die ganze Unterkunft sehr sauber und gut gepflegt.

Sehr schönes kleines Hotel mit netten Mitarbeitern. Das Frühstück und das Hotelzimmer waren hervorragend. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort übernachten.

Es wurde uns kurz vor Abreise mitgeteilt dass wir nur in Cash bezahlen können. Das war sehr schade weil wir extra nochmal Geld tauschen mussten und man dadurch auch immer Gebühren bezahlen muss. Ich vermute die Eigentümer konnten sich so die Steuern sparen.

Wir wurden vom Bruder des Hosts betreut, dieser war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns unsere Wünsche erfüllt. Zb haben wir auf Nachfrage neue Handtücher bekommen. Das Frühstück in der Unterkunft ist sehr vielfältig und abwechslungsreich. Jeden Tag etwas anderes und verschiedene Getränke dabei. Außerdem wird das Frühstück privat auf dem Balkon serviert. Die Unterkunft hat eine Abkürzung in die Stadt die einem ca. 10 min Fußweg spart.

Leider hatten wir auf unserem Kopfkissen Flecken entdeckt die nicht von uns stammten. Außerdem roch das Badezimmer etwas muffig. Bei mehreren Übernachtung wäre es schön wenn das Zimmer gereinigt werden würde und man ohne Nachfrage neue Handtücher bekommt. Etwas Unannehmlichkeiten hatten wir mit der Bezahlung. Leider war das Kartenlesegerät defekt und wir sollten Cash zahlen. Dies wurde uns aber erst am Vorabend unser Abreise mitgeteilt. Aus einer Bewertung am Tag vor unserer Anreise konnte ich entnehmen, dass das Gerät schon dort defekt war. Hier hätte ich mir eine bessere Kommunikation gewünscht so dass man sich schon vor der Anreise darauf hätte einstellen können. Nach einer Stunde Gespräch mit dem Host haben wir dann eine Lösung gefunden die für alle funktionierte.

On the plus side, the owner communicated well and his brother was very helpful and charming. The location, even though rather basic, was at least quiet (except for the dog that started barking from around 7am!). The shower was good and we were provided with bottled water for no extra charge. There was a good, if ridiculously large, breakfast provided.

We rented two rooms, both were damp but the one on the right (without the aircon) was unbearably damp and musty. Even the sheets were wet to touch. Really unpleasant. They should not be renting this room out until they can sort out this problem. Note ther the route into town is down a very rough track. We were asked to pay cash on checkout even though they said they’d accept cards.

Eine Ruheoase. Das Hotel hat momentan zwei Bungalows die vom Dschungel umgeben sind. Man ist aber aus dem Bungalow heraus über eine Treppe in 5 Minuten auf der Hauptstrase . Sehr nettes Personal mit einem außergewöhnlichen Frühstück an der eigenen Terrasse. Die Uhrzeit bestimmt der Gast.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr nah am Zentrum – in nur etwa 5 Minuten ist man mitten im Geschehen – und trotzdem ist es dort erstaunlich ruhig. Besonders angenehm war die ruhige Atmosphäre, die einen erholsamen Aufenthalt ermöglicht hat. Der Host war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit, wodurch man sich sofort willkommen gefühlt hat. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und ein perfekter Start in den Tag. Besonders praktisch war auch der Wäscheservice: Unsere Wäsche wurde zu einem sehr guten Preis gewaschen und pro Kilogramm abgerechnet. Außerdem konnten wir spontan Tuk-Tuk-Fahrten direkt mit dem Host organisieren, was unseren Aufenthalt noch unkomplizierter gemacht hat. Auch das Bett war sehr bequem, sodass wir hervorragend schlafen konnten. Insgesamt ein rundum sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, den wir gerne weiterempfehlen!

Rodinná vila La Casa Bella je velmi pěkné ubytování. Majitel byl na telefonu, ale ubytoval nás jeho bratr. Velmi si cenníme, že nám připravili pokoj i před dobou našeho plánovaného příjezdu, po dobu krátkého čekání na pokoj nám uvařili čaj a kávu. Majitel vše kontroloval po telefonu. Velmi oceňuji, že měl snahu, aby se nám líbilo v jeho ubytování. Ráno jsme měli bohatou snídani, včetně mísy ovoce. Do města byla z ubytování zkratkou cesta do centra asi za 10 minut. Byli jsme opakovaně první den i druhý před odjezdem. Majitelův bratr nám zajsitil i odvoz Tuktukem pod Little Adams peak. Rádi se do tohoto ubytování vrátíme.

Nemohli jsme dlouho najít správnou polohu ubytování, chybělo jasné označení vily.

Unser Zimmer und die Terrasse waren wirklich wunderschön und total modern eingerichtet. Es wurde an alles gedacht. Fön, Zahnbürsten, Insektensprays, Regenschirme usw. Der Bruder des Besitzers und alle vom Personal waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit! Jeden Morgen haben wir ein tolles Frühstück serviert bekommen.

Die Lage war eigentlich gut und nahe am Zentrum. Aber die Unterkunft liegt ca 400 m von der Hauptstraße entfernt, das letzte Wegstück bis zum Hotel ist sehr dunkel und hat uns jeden Abend etwas Überwindung gekostet.

L’host è stato gentilissimo e sempre disponibile: ci ha persino accompagnato a visitare le piantagioni di tè, rendendo l’esperienza ancora più autentica e speciale. La camera era impeccabile, super pulita e arredata con gusto. Letti comodissimi, bagno spazioso con una doccia grande e acqua calda. La colazione è stata abbondante e deliziosa, preparata con cura: ci siamo sentiti davvero coccolati e come a casa. Tutto semplicemente perfetto. Un posto in cui torneremmo senza esitazione.

Siamo stati alla Casa Bella per due notti, cambiando in 8 giorni 6 hotel. Senza ombra di dubbio il miglior soggiorno della vacanza. Posizione ottima, stanza con spazio fuori meraviglioso, immerso nel verde. Lontano dalla confusione ma al tempo stesso a 5 minuti a piedi dalla via principale e piena di vita. A conduzione familiare, proprio accanto. È stato tutto perfetto, dall’accoglienza al cibo e soprattutto alla pulizia. Attentissimi ad ogni particolare. Gayan a dir poco eccezionale!! Simpatico, premuroso , di una gentilezza infinita e sempre con un gran sorriso!! Consiglio assolutamente questo posto, vi sentirete a casa 🌟 A presto!!🤎

We hebben een ontzettend fijn verblijf gehad in La Casa Bella! Erg schoon en veel faciliteiten zijn aanwezig. Ontbijten op je eigen terras is erg leuk en goed verzorgd. We raden een verblijf hier erg aan!

Eine sehr moderne Unterkunft mit neuer Einrichtung! Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Frühstück wird auf eigener Terrasse serviert, frisch zubereitet und zum Zeitpunkt der eigenen Wahl. Alle Zutaten sind sehr ansprechend angerichtet und es wird auf alle Details geachtet. Die Familie des Eigentümers ist sehr freundlich.

Ons verblijf bij Gayan en zijn lieve familie kon niet beter. We zijn zo goed verzorgd! Het verblijf was super schoon, de locatie was top (op loopafstand van het drukke centrum, maar wel in de rust) en de ontbijtjes waren heerlijk en met enorm veel liefde en aandacht bereid en geserveerd. We hebben enorm genoten en raden iedereen aan om hier te verblijven.

Leider was es nicht möglich am Abend draussen zu sitzen. Man hat uns ein wirkluch gutes Moskitospray gebracht, war aber leider doch zu nervig. Da das Zimmer sehr schön ist, war es nicht so ganz schlimm.

A localizacao é perfeita para descansar sem barulho, mesmo estando perto da rua principal com bares e animação até tarde. Se o objectivo é estar perto do centro, 5 minutos a pé e ainda assim com nenhum barulho no quarto é a escolha acertada. O pequeno almoco é excelente, entre um pequeno almoço clássico com ovos ou algo mais tradicional do sri lanka e o anfitrião é exemplar, ajudou-nos em tudo para não perdermos nada do que visitar na cidade, facilitou uma mota na hora para alugar e ainda um carro com motorista para irmos para outra cidade. O quarto é muito bom, espaçoso e limpo, o wc bem equipado. Resumindo, o sitio ideal, com boa relação preco qualidade e um óptimo serviço.

It’s also in the perfect location — peaceful and quiet, but just a short and easy walk or tuk-tuk ride to the center of Ella with all the cafés, shops, and restaurants. The hosts were so kind and helpful throughout our stay, making sure we had everything we needed. We truly felt looked after and at home. The property is located unbelievably close to the town, if you drive a car you need to call the owner and get you directed around the property to access the driveway. Showers were amazing although it could do with some sort of a shower screen as water would get everywhere but thats how it is in Sri Lanka. Gayan was really helpful and had promptly helped us whenever we needed assistance on something and was very welcoming

We would 100% recommend this accommodation to anyone traveling to Ella. The room is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious. And the staff is amazing and so helpful and friendly. Gayan took us to all the hotspots in Ella. We loved it! Also, the location is perfect. Walking distance to the city and close to the train station. Perfect!

Very poor service and complain handling. The owner doesn't know how to speak calmly and assess the situation. He always shout and even told us to get out the property if we are not happy.

Had a lovely 4 night stay at this property. The room was clean with a large and tasty breakfast served each morning at a time of our convenience. The owners could not have been more accommodating and were attentive and available to message if we needed anything. They offered advice on things to do and see, showed us where we could get our laundry done, took us up to the monastery that overlooks Ella in his tuktuk as well as dropping us at the station when we were moving on, all of which made for a very enjoyable stay. The room was modern and clean with a fridge, comfortable bed and powerful hot shower.

Not a negative but a word of warning for those who are less mobile that the accommodation does require you to walk up a hill and some stairs to reach. Our only other preference would be for air conditioning to reduce the humid feel in the room at times.

We had a lovely stay at this family-run hotel. The guys was incredibly kind and genuinely cared about making us feel comfortable and welcome. The rooms were simple but totally fine for the price, and the highlight for us was definitely the breakfast, generous, varied and absolutely delicious. Just a small tip for future travelers: if possible, pack light or travel with a backpack rather than a suitcase, as there’s a bit of an uphill walk to reach the hotel. Overall, a really nice experience.

We had two issues with our stay here.... We were driven by the brother to the nine arch view point, the roads are not in good condition, he was driving too fast & lost control. Mum & I had jump out while moving before it went totally over the edge. (See photo) we were both totally shaken up & distressed by this accident. Our second issue was that there was a baby cow tied up outside our room and it was so distressed and mooed ALL night!!! The dogs were barking at the cow and so it went on! Hardly slept wink!

The room was clean and cozy with beautiful views of the surrounding greenery, creating a peaceful atmosphere perfect for relaxing. But the highlight was definitely the breakfast the next morning—fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor, with a variety of local and continental options that catered to every taste. Though my stay was short, the quality of service and the serene setting made a lasting impression. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ella.

Pasindu and his family are super kind and helpful with any needs you have. They also showed us Ella and it‘s beautiful nature. The room is brand new and really wonderful. Last but not least, the breakfast was super delicious! Thank you and see you soon.

I was like we were staying inside a little jungle because of the beautiful garden outside the room. I liked that we stayed a little outside of the main city but very close at the same time. The room we stayed was recently renovated and was very clean and comfortable. The staff was great, very polite and happy to assist us at anytime. Breakfast was perfect

The room had a lot of humidity because it was constantly raining before our visit. It would help to have a mosquito nest at the door in order for the air to be renewed and at the same time keep the bugs away. The air condition has a dry mode which helped a bit.

pretty new unit, clean, with a good shower. Friendly staff - the owner is proactively checking in and making sure things are ok. Decent breakfast (but omelettes are served stone cold for some reason). Outside area to sit and chill. Good value for money I guess.

The big minus for us clearly was the strong musty smell in the room - which is due to the humid climate and lack of direct sunlight and proper ventilation! Quite difficult to find.
